This 1986 Chevrolet C10 is a blast to drive. A freshly rebuilt 30 over 350 with Comp XE274 cam, 10:1 compression topped off with an Edelbrock 2098 power package. The package is rated at 410 HP with 408 ft/lbs torque and includes aluminum heads and Air Gap manifold. A 600cc Edelbrock finishes off the engine. The accessory package is the serpentine setup from a later chevy vehicle including AC! The rebuilt 700r4 transmission includes a "Beast" sun shell with a Yank Performance SS3000 torque converter. The paint does show signs of aging as shown in the pictures. I recommend replacement of the bushings and ball joints on the front end. The interior is completely new, including new carpet, dash pad, door panels, gauge bezel, seat belts and bench seat. new alpine deck with amp powered kick panel infinity speakers up front, and 6x9's in the cab corners with an 8" JL Audio subwoofer. (Relisted truck from last week) For sale is an original, unrestored 1976 C10 truck. I try very hard to describe the truck as accurately as possible. This truck has spent it's entire life here in southern middle Tennessee and only shows minor surface rust under the body. many areas show to be in pristine condition. Ive take pictures of the good and bad to let the buyer decide. The good: -Really straight and cancer free, No holes! -Daily driver. Runs great and smooth. Shifts very nice, firm when hammered. -Some things replaced in November 2016 include Radiator and all hoses, Thermostat, three belts, carburetor rebuild kit. fuel pump, distributor, plugs and wires, tires, battery -Drives straight, no steering play, wheel is level, brakes straight and smooth, suspension is quiet no squeaks. -Windows are tight and gauges are smooth. -Tires nearly new -Starts instantly (unless its cold out / choke?) Im a professional mechanic specialising in customs and classics and this truck is my personal project. Freshly painted and highly optioned. The truck has a 350 engine, th350 automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes with front discs, Kenwood cd player, Classic wood steering wheel. Original A/C truck, compressor isnt there. Older Mallory ignition system. Front and rear sway bars, rare. Rear overload springs, dual exhaust and much more..... see options list on the glove box door. Very solid truck with original never patched floors or cab corners. I could not verify it but I think the mileage is original because of the trucks condition. Underneath the truck doesn't look like it's seen much time on or off road. It runs and drives very well. The paint is a custom Cobalt Pearl Blue and GM frost white. The truck turns heads and people can't help but walk around it a couple of times just to see the color change at different angles. I tried to capture that in the photos but it's hard to fully appreciate unless you're in front of the truck. The truck is beautiful but there are some things that show their age like the seat that could use a new seat cover or to be reupholstered. If buy it now is used I'll recover the seat in black. The engine had valve cover gaskets leaks and could stand to be cleaned up a little. The tires are low on tread and the wheels show their age as you can see in photos. Located in a 20,000 square foot full service facility, Speedtech offers over 200 unique manufactured in-house suspension packages and LS/ T-56 swap parts. Speedtech Performance has stayed true to their original goals, most recently taking the Pro-Touring world to an entirely new level through their new line of ExtReme chassis & suspension products. The guys @ Speedtech were itching to create a custom hauler for some time and needed a good excuse to develop some brand new suspension parts for the ‘67-‘72 Chevrolet C10 crowd. This little ’68 C10 wandered into the shop looking like it had had a pretty tough life, and after waiting patiently in the corner for several months the truck finally emerged along with a pretty serious game plan. This truck was built from the ground up entirely by Speedtech Performance’s custom shop. The entire build was documented w/ an extensive volume of photos from day one. Countless man-hours were spent making sure that all of the sheet metal was laser straight and all body panels perfectly aligned. It was painted in single stage Gloss Black, which was color sanded & buffed. The areas in White are a wrap, which can be easily removed at any time if you so choose. All windows are flush mount & tinted grey, and the vent windows in the doors were removed. The bed floor was raised 4” and the tubs were widened 4” to accommodate the Forgeline GT3C wheels (19” up front & 20” on the rear), which are wrapped w/ Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Instead of simply adapting their suspension to its old battered frame, they decided to start fresh w/ undoubtedly the finest chassis & suspension on the market today, Speedtech's new ExtReme suspension program. Along with their new ExtReme Camaro & Nova sub-frames, as well as their Chevelle & Tri-5 full frames, these new C10 frames offer a super low stance & fully optimized suspension geometrically based around their next generation ATS tall spindle. This is a very nice, clean, solid example of a factory short bed K-10 4 wheel drive pickup. Exterior:The paint is in very good shape on the truck. There are no major issues. All of the side trim is brand new and was recently installed.The wheels were professionally sandblasted and painted with Argent Silver base coat/clear coat and have brand new center caps, brand new trim rings, and brand new 33x12.50x15" BFGoodrich All Terrain tires.The grille is in great shape, as well as the front bumper. The rear bumper and brackets are brand new.The wood bed kit is new and new stainless strips were installed as well.The truck is really very solid overall underneath also. There is one small rust hole in the right rear cab brace that is about the size of a dime and one small hole in the driver's side area where the door sill plate bolts down. The cab corners are perfect, the inner rocker panels appear to have been replaced and the work done looks good. The original floor pans are in great shape and do not have any rust through issues.The glass is all in good shape and the windows roll up and down easily.The wipers work correctly.The head lights, tail lights, brake lights and turn signals all work as they should as well.Interior:The interior is also in very good shape. The seat cover looks to be fairly new and is in great shape. There are no tears, stains, worn spots, etc.The rubber floor mat looks to be new as well.The stainless door sill plates are in great shape and look to be new also.The aftermarket wood/billet aluminum steering wheel looks nice in the truck.All of the gauges work correctly. The dome light even works!The heater works and is operated by a switch mounted to the bottom edge of the dash just below the ignition switch.It has an older radio that still works.Drivetrain:The engine is a very good running 350 with an Edelbrock aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold, electric choke 750cfm Edelbrock carburetor, a pair of new chrome valve covers and air cleaner, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds running through dual exhaust and has a great sound.The transmission is the original 4 speed manual that shifts good, the clutch feels good and doesn't slip and engages easily.The rear end is the factory 12 bolt and the front axle is a Dana 44 with 3.07 gears front and rear so it will cruise down the highway with ease.Suspension:There appears to be around a 3" lift block on the rear and around a 2-3" body lift.It has a full set of Rancho shocks front and rear, as well as Rancho steering stabilizer shocks on the front axle.The power steering feels nice and tight and steering feel is very nice.The power brakes work great and stop the truck well. Even despite being drums front and rear, the truck stops straight and easily.The truck is listed for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove it from auction at any time.
