Selling a 1995 Chevrolet Corsica. This is a RARE FULLY LOADED model: power windows/ door locks/ cruise control/ trunk release/ air/ auto transmission/ cycle wipers/ tilt wheel/ daytime running lights/ anti lock brakes. The Corsica was Chevrolet's answer to the Honda Civic/ Toyota Corolla. It was produced from 1987 to 1996. Despite being a successful model (they sold well over a million units), GM decided to discontinue the car (and its counterpart- the Chevy Beretta) because they didn't want to make upcoming federal changes. TODAY, these cars are VERY rare and nice examples are even rarer. HISTORY: This car was originally a Wisconsin Park District municipal vehicle (government) driven by a supervisor. I purchased it in a municipal auction in 2004. The car was repainted (the original paint was literally falling off) and immediately it was sent from Chicago to my sister in Los Angeles, where it remained until recently. BODY: Being in southern California served this car well cause it never became a rust bucket like so many others. The car has NEVER been in an accident thus it has all of its original panels and glass. It has always been well maintained. It was only used sparingly as a second car. The UNDERBODY is also solid. Any impending rust issues were addressed. The underbody is something MOST sellers DON'T want you to see!! ENGINE: This car has the gas saving 2.2 liter 4 cylinder. And it runs well!! This car only has an ORIGINAL 79,000 miles. In 2019, the head gasket was replaced/ radiator/ all hoses. When the car returned back to Chicago it had many issues that had to be addressed and were done. Replaced: a new heater core/ fuel pump/ injectors/ fuel regulator/ fuel filter/ tires/ battery/ air recharged. UPDATES: While in California the stock interior was upgraded to the rare upscale one and it does look better. The stock 14 inch tires were upgraded to the rare 15 inch Chevy alloy rims/ tires and as a result the car looks better and rides better. But best of all, this car has a DEALER INSTALLED DELUXE SUNROOF. Its deluxe because it has adjustable sunscreens built in. And it doesn't leak. Many Berettas had sunroofs whereas the Corsica didn't. At some point my sister replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket one. HOWEVER, when the car returned, the aftermarket radio was gone and the original radio (with cassette player) does come with the car. I didn't reinstall it since the new owner would probably go with another aftermarket unit. DISCRESSIONS: The 19 year old paint does show wear in sections. There are also small indentations on the body. But this isn't a new car, its still almost 30 years old and even with minor ailments it STILL presents itself well. And everything works!! Overall this is a good looking, good running, reliable car that would make a nice second car/ commuter car. It would also serve a student/ new / or young driver well. With proper care, a Corsica will EASILY last at least 200 thousand miles, so this car is set up for many more years and miles of service. Selling for $5750 or best offer. The only damage I've seen is the rear bumper is dented a bit, there are a few small cuts in the rear seat and the drivers side mirror is cracked. For Sale 1981 Camaro Race car $4,500 obo This is a FAST 1981 Dirt track race car less motor, carburetor and distributer. This is a professionally built frame for dirt track racing on an 1981 Camaro ( $4,500). It is very fast and was a front running car at Cleveland and Edna, Tx. 3 wheel disc brakes as the right front has a blank HD hub and adjustable brake bias valve. Stock lower control arms. Replacement rebuildable ball joints. After market front end parts including spindles, hiem rod ends all around, HD connecting links, tie rods and connecting link ($2,800 in parts). All HD front end parts are from Day Automotive. The upper control arms are tubular replacements with the correct length for circle tack cornering (short on the right side, long on the left side). The front end was computer setup and printout available. Adjustable weight jaks up front. The rear end is a 9in Ford full floater with 6.00 gears, full spool, aftermarket 31 spine axles and light weight rear disc brakes. 5in bolt circle with 5/8 studs on all axles. 20 gal fuel cell, custom wiring system, Kirkley racing seat, 2 quick disconnect steering wheels, racing power steering and Z28 quick steering box and 2.0/1 steering multiplier. New seat belts for 2021. Straight frame and very sturdy roll cage, aluminum side panels. Fiberglass roof and Hood. New battery in 2021. Brinn 2 speed racing transmission with new clutch pack 2021 season. Steel bell housing and mini high torque starter. Hydraulic clutch. For extra cost I have a rebuilt non-sealed 602 available for $2,8oo. (The engine is a 358 ci 10 /1 compression externally balanced rotating assembly, non-sealed 602, original hydraulic lifter camshaft). Car comes with a double pass radiator, new MSD-6AL ignition. Very reliable and powerful ignition system. Installed new QA-1 rebuildable shocks properly valved for each wheel in 2021. We raced this car once last year at Cleveland, Tx in street stock class to break-in the engine. This car has lots of track time left in it. The wheels are 15 x 8 x 5in bc with H500 tires. There are over $15,000 in parts in this car. Included with the car are 5 extra tires and wheels, extra bad lock, extra wheels, axle spacers, 2 tie rods, shackle, steel bushings for control arms, extra lower control arms over ($2,200) in costs. All tires have good tread. I also have a complete new Performance Bodies slab body that fit this car ($1,500) that can be purchased separately for $750. This car needs a younger driver and hit the track with an engine that meets your local rules. I suggest you buy this-car less motor & transmission. The engine is not sealed!
