This 67 was built in 1991, in dry storage from 1995 until I bought it. We have the truck running/driving good enough to operate under it’s own power, I’ve driven it 10 miles to check out major components, no complaints. This is a factory 2wd short bed, getting very hard to find hence all the companies sprouting up converting long to short beds in the 3-4k range, seen good and bad on those, why take a chance, get a factory original at a great price. TH-400 automatic transmission with shift kit. Dual exhaust (there is a hole in the exhaust on passenger side) truck is a hot rod with a sweet motor and trans. 12 bolt rear axle. BODY The Miami Vice paint job was done in 1991. The paint is coming apart in spots with chips and cracks. The body is in great shape. Obviously the paint job needs to be re-done and interior updated. Much better start than buying a truck sitting in a field for 30 years, lots of this stuff can be re-used. This truck was someone’s pride and joy back in 1991, lots of time spent on pin-striping etc. I like seeing that as it bodes for how the mechanicals were built and those items can be re-used. If you smack the ugly off this truck, you will have a cool and valuable piece without having to do a full frame off buy everything restoration. This truck is for someone willing to do that. That was my plan, but I have 6 other C10’s in resto right now, some have to go. I have a clean clear WA state title in hand, in my wife’s name. Ram-Horn manifolds to true dual exhaust with welded throaty mufflers. TH-400 automatic transmission (quality internals) with mild shift kit. Power steering, electric fan with adjustable switch, 5 lug conversion with power disc front brakes. Quality CPP drop spindles and kit. 12 bolt axle with limited slip posi and 3.50 gears. BODY All original sheet metal to the truck, excellent condition prior to restoration. Painted base/clear red with PPG products with paint code inside glove box. 70,000 mi. original survivor 1969 Chevrolet C-10 pickup. Purchased new here just north of Seattle in Everett, Wa. at Sevenich Motor Company on 9/15/69. Complete documentation since purchase by the original owner up until 2005. This truck runs and rides like a dream, whisper quiet, like the day it was purchased, no rattles, clunks or squeaks of any kind. 350 V8, Turbo 350 Automatic, Front Disc Brakes were added in 2010 and were adjusted and updated a couple of weeks ago. Rear Drums with modern radial tires all around. Includes the original protect-o-plate and all paper work that shows it's originality. Original paint has the perfect petina for it's age. Bench seat was ordered from the factory with dark gray cloth instead of the usual black vinyl. I have the build sheet that came from the Freemont plant where it was assembled, then delivered to Sunset Chevrolet in Sumner, Wa. The bed is in excellent rust-free condition. The wheel wells and bed floor are in excellent condition. The bed sides are so straight they appear as new. The underside of the truck, floors and cab mounts are all solid. The bumpers, grill and tailgate are all straight and rust free. The lights, gauges and heater work. The dash and glove box is in remarkably good original condition without damage. THE BADThe driver side rear cab corner has an egg sized rust hole. The recent exterior paint appears decent from 10 feet however it is an amateur job. The original floor mat has a tear on the driver side. The original bench seat cover is worn needing replacement. What you are looking at is a 1970 Chevrolet C10 shortbed pickup. We started out with a rust free body and frame. We removed everything from the chassis and installed a full air ride suspension with electronic air ride controller. Detailed the chassis and the underside of the body then reinstalled it on the chassis. Now for the details: Chassis and Suspension: Firestone air bags on all four corners with custom mounts KYB shocks at all four corners Narrowed rear axle CPP disc brakes on front suspension and drum in rear all new All new suspension bushing and steering linkage Air Ride Technologies “AIRPOD” air suspension controller with programmable hand held controller. Drive Train: Mark IV GM 454 with less than 10,000 miles. GM TH400 automatic with less than 10,000 miles. Full custom 2.5” dual exhaust with headers Body: Where this truck stands apart from the rest! The entire bed floor was raised and wheel wells widened. The body has a complete “Patina” vinyl wrap on it…..yup hard to believe but what you see is a vinyl wrap….entirely! They bought it with 8,000 miles from new. This is a full time 4 wheel drive PU. 3/4 ton Husky Camper Special. 350 Chevy V-8. Automatic. Power steering. Power front disc brakes. Pioneer sound system. CB radio with dual front bumper mount antennas. Gun rack. Neat roll up bed cover. Electric brake controller. 2 extra mounted wheels. Rear bumper step. Fender flares. This PU just looks cool. I drove it home about 60 miles towing a car down the freeway at 70 MPH. It drives great but its not a power house. When they did the service and safety check they replaced the master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders. New exhaust manifolds. It is tall, I have to use the step to get in. The carpets are tired and so is the seat. Has some bondo patching on both sides. I have the build sheet. It was built in Fremont Ca. and sold to Roy Robinson Chevrolet here in Marysville, WA. It is all set up for camper use. The rear bumper is extendable for a big camper. This would be great for the back country. Cond. # 3. 1972 Chevrolet c10 truck long box1/2 ton , its been in my family for the last 25 years, original big block 402 that was rebuilt apx. 70000 miles ago, with all new parts at that time, heads rebuilt, rv cam, trw pistons etc, MSD 6al ignition box , truck still has original gm alternator , starter, distributor. this is a factory air conditioned truck . most all the parts are there for the system but not hooked up at this time, , TH400 transmission. 12 bolt posi rearend with 3:08 gears rebuilt less than 1500 miles ago, new bearings new axles, gears. seat upholstery is brand new custom made cover,the truck is painted in base coat clear coat. rear tires are brand new mounted on gm ralley truck wheels, this is a very nice truck that I hate to sell but I have only so much space and time, please ask any questions you have , buyer sets up transportation or picks it up locally, 1000.00 deposit due within 48 hours of auction ending . non refundable. thanks
