It is a factory 4WD, short bed truck and is a very hard truck to find. I saw one of these sell at Barrett Jackson car auction last year for over $80,000 in restored condition got a bug up my ass to buy one and add it to my car collection. I wound up buying it in a package deal with a Hummer H1 and after looking at it for 6 months and not touching it, I decided I want the parking space back. I purchased it in exactly the same condition it sits now and have very little information about it's history. What I do know is that I purchased it out of California and it has been there for some time as indicated by the stack of registration stickers on the California license plates it has. As per the vin # it is a factory V8, 4WD truck that was build in Fremont, California. It was not running when I purchased it but it looks like everything under the hood is all hooked up and was running not too long ago. It has a small block Chevy motor, 4 speed manual transmission and the transfer case all intact. It had 3/4 ton or 1 ton front and rear ends installed in it but they are not hooked up including the brake lines and missing the drives haft. The rear end is a 14 bolt and currently has 20 inch 8 lug wheels on it. The frame and underbody looks to be in nice shape without any rust issues. The truck has been converted to a modern drive train featuring a low miles 4.8L Vortec LS motor with 4L60e Automatic with overdrive transmission. For sale is my 68 C10. Very straight AZ farm truck with very minor rust. Engine runs great. I'm not sure what it originally had but the block casting number 3970010 shows it to be a 350 sbc. Everything mechanical and electrical works except for the AM radio.
