Offering up my 1969 chevy C10 short bed step side truck. Truck has roughly 3700 miles on it since completing. Will go up as I regularly enjoy the truck. Runs and drives great, all work was completed by me. Truck is an original short bed truck, was not cut down. I am in the process of selling my house to build a new one and as much as I love the truck, it makes more sense to let someone else have the opportunity to enjoy it as much as I have. Here is a short run down of what I have done, all parts were installed at same time. -5.3L/4L60E bought from LKQ last January with less than 100,000 miles. Came with a 6 month/6000 mile warranty at that time. 5.3 has ceramic coated Doug Thorley headers that exit into two 2.5" tubes that combine into one 3" set up through a 3" magnaflow muffler that then exits a single side pipe. Truck has a great sound. 8.5mm MSD plug wires, E3 spark plugs, spectre cold air intake. -Conversion harness is brand new, not a cut down unit. Allowed me to mount computer in glove box area. Computer was tuned by 150tunes.com, amazing tune! -20x8.5 Boss 338 wheels on front with toyo proxes 255/40/20, and 20x10 in rear with 295/40/20's -All CPP suspension drop with drop springs and spindles in front with drop springs and blocks in rear. Has shock relocaters and long track bar in rear, frame has CPP c-notch as well. -Truck was converted to 5 lug with disc in front. Truck has a power brake setup from CPP for the disc in front. Truck has brand new calipers, ball joints and power steering gearbox. -Running a factory 72 c10 rear axle. 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. -Truck has brand new oak bed in it with new painted bed strips and polished stainless hardware. Oak has three coats of polyurethane on both sides. -Has new windshield, windshield seal, rear glass seal, door seals, window felts. Less than 500 miles on them, did these same time as clear coating the truck. -New low back bucket seats with 67-72 base. Used a factory 67-68 buddy bucket console. Seats are very comfortable, was a nice upgrade from the bench seat. Using 3" racing lap belts for harnesses. -Autometer cluster housing with all autometer gauges. Everything works as it should. -New retro styled radio with auxiliary input for MP3. -Truck had a brand new behind the seat fuel tank, still running that tank with an in tank fuel pump setup. I'm sure I missed several things. The truck turns heads everywhere it goes. I drove it from Miami Oklahoma to Dallas Texas last month and had a blast doing it! Would not hesitate to drive it anywhere! Truck rides great compared to other lowered vehicles I have ridden in. No corners were cut on this truck, you will not be disappointed, pictures do not do it justice. The clear coat is the only thing I have done to the exterior of the truck. Not a faux patina finish. Not everyone cares for the patina look, but what you see is what you get.....you know that there is not any bondo or rust hiding underneath there. The passenger side rocker does have a small amount of rust in the seam, but the truck is extremely solid even considering that. Cab corners are solid. Truck came from Texas years ago before being transplanted into Oklahoma. Extremely solid all original sheet metal. Just passed New Hampshire State Safety Inspection at Alton Motorsports on April 13, 2015! Driven daily! This is a TRUE SHORT BED CHASSIS! Beware of people selling long bed trucks that have been shortened by having the frame hacked to pieces. Rare, one year only, small rear window. Only 66k original miles. Miles will increase as I continue to drive it. Original 283 SBC V8 and 2 speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Has power steering and now has power disk brakes. Runs and drives great. Lots of recent work done. Just installed a CPP Grand Slam Kit, which consists of a power disc brake conversion and complete lowering kit front and rear. It is lowered with 2.5" original offset drop spindles and 2" drop springs in front and 4" coil springs in rear with shock relocators and adjustable panhard bar. The kit came with all new upper and lower ball joints, innner and outer tie rods with custom sleeves, 12" rotors, new calipers, inner and outer wheel bearings, all 4 drop shocks, all 4 coil springs, power booster, master cylinder, rubber brake lines. I have also done the rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, and hardware. New Wilwood prop valve. The interior is pretty much mint. New carpet, dash pad, reupholstered seat, interior door handles and window cranks. Mahogany Grant GT steering wheel. New rear view mirror. New glove box light and harness. Installed brand new Hella Vision Plus headlight housings with H4 bulbs along with a $60.00 upgraded headlight relay wiring harness. New tail light lenses, backup light assemblies, license plate bracket and plate light. New rear side marker lenses, and front parking light lenses. Installed new door lock cylinders and outer door handles. New mirrors on both sides. New carburetor. New oil and filter. New exterior door mirrors. I also replaced the rear trailing arms and used new Energy Suspension poly bushings. Installed a brand new billet Summit Racing HEI distributor and Accel 8.8mm plug wires to replace the original points style distributor. And brand new NGK spark plugs. New Stainless steel chrome air cleaner with K&N air filter. New aluminum finned valve covers. Installed 3 new heavy duty Spicer driveshaft u-joints and Precision driveshaft center support carrier bearing/hanger. Installed new 2 row aluminum radiator as well as a brand new heavy duty transmission cooler. New Sunpro 2 Tachometer. Tires are newer . Chrome wheels have some surface rust. This was an older restoration before I bought it and did all the above work done to it. The paint is showing its age. Scratches and chips here and there. The passenger side rocker panel is going to need to be replaced at some point. Had two small holes but I put a little body filler on it for inspection. I have a new replacement rocker panel that I will include. The floor pan was patched by previous owner. Has some paint/rust bubbling here and there. The bed wood was replaced with a piece of plywood at some point and is showing its age. The bottom rear door corners have some slight rust on both doors. Also the engine has a slight oil leak. Think its coming from the oil filter adapter, but I haven't checked it out. See pics for a more accurate representation of trucks condition. I have described it to the best of my abilities. Solid frame and cab supports. Its a perfect daily driver or weekend cruiser. Or you can take it to the next level and make it into a sweet show truck. Up for sale is a beautifully finished 1970 Chevrolet C10 Pickup. It is an original v8, manual transmission truck. It has recently been restored and customized. Below is list of work completed, parts used, and modifications done to create this beautiful truck! Exterior - The exterior of the truck had no rust to begin with. It was soda blasted down to bare metal, smoothed out and body worked to a laser straight finish. it received a custom "patina" paint job and cleared in a matte clear coat. The truck shows "wear" in common areas natural patina would be. You will see hints of white, black, and "rust" colors underneath the brilliant metallic blue. The engine bay was finished in a gloss clear coat for some contrast and a clean look under the hood. Interior - The truck has a new carpet kit installed, new door panels were fabricated and wrapped in black carpet, the seat was recently reupholstered in a factory like fashion with black vinyl outers and grey cloth inners. The dash pad has been reupholstered in black vinyl since the pictures were taken. The factory gauges were removed and replaced with Equus white face illuminated gauges. A 3inch RPM gauge is mounted to the steering column for easy viewing. A Vintage 3 spoke steering wheel was installed. The metal portions of the door panels feature patina to match the exterior. The Dash was finished with gloss clear coat, as well as the roof, a pillars and b pillars, for a clean look and some contrast. Custom 3 Tone Keith Collins Floor Mats Finish off the interior. A Hurst Indy Shifter was installed as well. Bed- The bed was sprayed in a Line-x Material and Color matched to the rest of the vehicle. The bed was raised 2 inches to accommodate the needed clearance for the rear axle. The Bed slats came off a 1950s stake bed farm truck, and are nicely weathered to complete the exterior theme. Suspension - Many Balljoints, bushings, and bearings were replaced with new units. The front and rear feature air springs to allow your choice of ride height. The front and rear feature 2500lb air springs. A small C notch was installed in the rear for extra suspension travel. A Viair Compressor and 5 gallon tank are located underneath the bed. Manual Valves and switches control height, and 2 gauges show you air pressure. 2 switches for simple use, front and rear. Much of the suspension was painted a deep gloss black. New shocks were also installed at all 4 corners. Truck rides amazing! Engine - A recently rebuilt 350 v8 was painted and installed in the truck, and has less then 5000 miles on it. Everything was painted a nice gloss red. The engine features a mild cam, edelbrock intake and carburetor, chrome valve covers, chrome long tube headers, and more. All new fluids in it. Runs perfect, plenty of power, sounds amazing! The 350 is backed by a 3 speed manual transmission with a Hurst Indy Shifter. Glass - All original glass was used on the truck and remains in good condition. New rubber for windshield, rear window, side windows, and doors was installed after paint. New window Felt as well. The window tint on rear window has since been removed since these photos were taken. Wheels are 18inch Centerline Billet Wheels in great condition. No major damage at all. Still have a great shine, but could use a quick polish. Tires are in great condition as well, with only a few thousand miles on them. The Chrome on the truck is still in great shape. The front bumper is in excellent condition, while the door handles show minor pitting. The chrome near the wing windows show some age, and have minor rust. I chose to leave them as they fit the theme of the truck well. I do have the rear bumper for the truck, I prefer the look of it without the bumper. I can install for buyer if desired and will include in the sale. The only work a potential buyer may want done to the truck is to have speakers installed. I have a pair of new Kicker 6x9 3 way speakers I will include with the vehicle. You will need enclosures for them. The exhaust also needs finished, the truck currently runs the long tube headers, but no mufflers. I have a set of used Flowmaster mufflers I was going to use that I will include in the sale, but honestly It sounds very mean without exhaust and I chose to leave it as is. I have the collectors/Flanges for the exhaust and will include in the sale. Besides Speakers and Exhaust the truck needs nothing. It runs amazing, clutch is nice and tight and rear end is geared well for motor/trans/wheels. It turns heads everywhere and get stopped for pictures and questions everywhere I take it. New owner will be proud and excited to cruise it to local shows and meets! Lots of time and money has been invested into this truck over the last few years and the quality of work will last for many more years to come. This is a '69 Chevy pickup in very nice shape. It has power steering, manual three speed column shift transmission, 250 inline 6 cylinder engine. Exterior: Recent paint, has had all the cab corners, rockers and cab mounts installed. The paint is a 7 out of 10. Very shiny, shows well with a couple blemishes. New grill, new bumpers, New emblems. Also has Extang tonneau cover installed. Window glass is all good. Very shiny paint...looks very nice with no major scratches or dings. The inside of the bed looks pretty good...it has some dings and small dents but nothing major. Good paint in the bed. NO RUST AT ALL ANYWHERE ON THE TRUCK. No rust bubbles...none. Interior: New gray seat cover with new seat foam, new floor mat. New gauge bezel. Newer style Pioneer CD player with bluetooth and remote control. Smaller Chevrolet steering wheel, really makes driving more enjoyable especially for larger folks. Good factory seat belts. Mechanical: The engine is an inline 6 cylinder. Runs perfect. Has new wires and plugs with a tune-up. Has original type exhaust that exits behind the left rear tire with chrome tip. Truck has been lowered 2 inches in front and 4 inches in rear. Stance is great. The transmission is a column shift 3 speed that works great with no noises. Clutch feels strong. Rear axle is a 3.73 ratio and operates with no noises or issues at all. Tires are brand new Yokohama radials on Chevy Rally wheels with good trim rings and center caps. All in all this is a very nice little short bed Chevy that is ready to enjoy now. It has ALWAYS been a short bed. This is NOT a shortened long bed. I believe everything works on it except the windshield washers. That stuff is not even on the truck. The previous owner told me the mileage is original. The truck is too old to confirm this though I thought it was worth mentioning. It has a few small blemishes in the paint. On the left door at the body line there is a bump that looks like it wasn't sanded properly...about the size of your thumb. The right bedside has the paint blistered on the body line.
