1986 Chevrolet Silverado c10 pickup with 350 engine automatic 400 trans. engine was not original and has a performance cam, mild not to radical. not sure of the specifics as it was done before I bought it. headers duel exhaust exits in front of rear wheels. seat from a newer chevy pickup, gray leather with fold down center console. new carpet and dash pad, floor on drivers side was replaced and rockers done. no rust on rest of body or floor. fiberglass bed cover with spoiler that lifts up like a hood.. centerline wheels.. door panels have been painted black as they were purple when bought.. yep purple.. a carbon fiber look to the dash bezel and door pull appliques clean frame no rot.

Mileage 9578

1977 C-10 Silverado BIG 10 shortbed. Actual mileage is unknown but the digital dash now states 9,578 since the truck was restored. Please note that when I refer to something as new on this truck it means that part was installed new when the truck was restored a few years ago. I haven't had the truck long enough to do much other than reroute some wiring and and hoses and install a new fuel filter. I've only owned it a few weeks and have to sell it due to hip operation that did not go so well. If you decode the VIN and take a look at the rear leaf spring picture you will see this is a 3/4 ton suspension even though it is a half-ton truck, a C-10. The 4th digit in the VIN, a 4, means this truck is a BIG 10. The BIG 10 was promoted as a heavy duty two wheel drive half-ton for the 1975 through 1980 model years and was exempt from catalytic converter regulations. When new from the showroom this truck would have had a BIG 10 decal on the rear sides of the bed. The GMC version of this truck was known as a Heavy Half. Most BIG 10/Heavy Half trucks were longbeds. As it is this shortbed BIG 10 is quite rare nowadays. It rides very smooth empty and with the BIG 10 suspension is ideal for towing. The 350 engine has a hotter non-stock cam, hi-rise GM manifold and Edelbrock carb. I do not know the specs of the cam but it has a noticeable lope at idle and sounds aggressive. The engine pulls hard and the TH350 trans shifts fine. The radiator is a new Delphi RA1194 aluminum core with trans cooler. The new battery is an Optima Red Top model 3478DT with 800CCA. It has a quick-disconnect clamp on the positive terminal. The engine and accessories are all serpentine belt driven. The R134 AC unit and all AC components are new and the AC is very cold. Wiper motor looks new as is the radiator fan shroud. The exhaust is new and though I can't find manufacturers marks on them they sound like a typical Magnaflow 40 series, strong and aggressive. The power steering is very easy with no squeals and no leaks. The Uniroyal Tiger Paw GTS P255/70R15 tires are at about 50% left which is in line with the 9,578 since restoration. I like the steelies in the stock size with beauty rings and center caps. Very easy to maintain and they look good in this color. The suspension works well and is very smooth riding. Disk brakes in front and drums in rear work well. The parking brake works as it should. Interior is redone and has no tears or noticable wear on seats. I find the seat very comfortable. The armrests could to be better installed as the screws holding them could be better. The headliner is excellent as are the walls and footboards. The carpeting is excellent with no wear or stains. New rubber all around with no noticeable wind noise. All the weatherstripping, door seals and window seals are new. The sliding rear window rubber is new and the window seals and works well. All together the interior is very quiet and comfortable. The window cranks are tight and work well. The Grant wood steering wheel feels good and the size works well with the power steering. The steering column is a tilting model. The windows are tinted on the sides and back. The passenger vent window latch is new, the drivers side is original. All of the glass is in excellent shape, no fogging or cracks or chips. The glovebox interior is new. It's an interesting dash, a Dakota Digital. It's easy to get used to the digital display and you get a much more accurate readout than an analog display. I know it's not traditional but it is pretty cool. The wiper switch and headlight switch are original and work as does the horn and all blinkers and 4-way flashers. The headlights are Lumenia HID H4 and are very bright on both hi and low. The truck has an alarm hooked up to the doors and the hood and when armed there are two very small green LEDs that flash. They are inlaid into each A pillar about 4-5 inches up from the dash. It also has a remote start but as it is a carburated engine it doesn't start it well unless warmed up. It has an Alpine CDA-105 stereo in it with a Memphis 16-PR2.50 amplifier with subwoofers and door speakers. The amplifier and subwoofer are behind the seat. The heavy gauge cable for the amp comes off the battery to a fuse assembly mounted in the engine bay. With the exceptionally quiet interior it really sounds great. This model truck has the antenna built into the windshield. The body is in very good shape. The front fenders, inner fenders, the radiator support and hood are in excellent shape. Pretty much the entire front clip appears to be new to the restoration and in numerous places I found the stickers from various parts warehouses. The doors are in excellent shape but need new door pins. I have a new set and I will get them installed if possible. If not then they will be included in the sale. The inner rockers are starting to rust and the outer right side has a small hole, about 1/4". A section of cab support between the rockers and cab mount is rotted out. That's the only really bad piece of body work and can be replaced easily. The cab floor is fine, no rust, no rot. The bed floors and sides are good and the bed is Rhino-lined. There is a small hole in two areas of the bed sides, maybe 1/8". It doesn't look like rot from the inside and I really can't explain why they are there. Maybe something was drilled and mounted there for some reason. The very lower area of the bed quarters just behind the rear wheels have some bondo in them but are not bad. It's not something that needs fixing now and you can't see it unless you crawl under there. The tailgate is fine, no rust and it's straight. Both bumpers are new as are the bumper braces. The paint is 10 ft/10 mph, definitely good enough for a very nice daily driver. It has a couple of dings and scratches but nothing major. I have a clear title in my name. Considering the price nowadays of C-10 shortbeds the BIN on this truck is set at the low end. I had recently bought it but medical expenses and complications are forcing me to sell it. Many more pictures available on request. You can call me at 732-433-6855 if you have any questions.

1970 C-10 Pickup. One incredible custom that has 100's of fabricating hours done to it. Obviously the top has been chopped to give it that wicked stance. The paint and body are awesome with painted on vintage scalloped graphics. This one takes you right back to the 70's again. If you are into retro rides or just flat out cool customs, this truck is for you. The engine is a 400 small block chevy that has been totally rebuilt. Along with the turbo 400 transmission and 3:73 posi rear. The truck drives, sounds and looks just like a vintage 1970 custom C-10 pickup should. This year and body style are continuing to go up in value so don't hesitate to call me with any questions or just hit the buy it now and steal it before someone else does. Thanks, John 908.489.4200

Selling a very nice 72 Chevy Cheyenne Super lwb pickup truck. The truck features the original 350 engine, a 4 speed Saginaw transmission with Hurst shifter, and a 3:08 posi rear. It has been lowered 3/4 with new CPP springs along with new KYB shocks. The front clip, engine & trans were recently removed to allow all the parts to be cleaned & painted. It has PS & and new PB setup from CPP. A lot of new parts were installed including: - All new springs - all new shocks - new clutch assembly - new carrier bearing - new hoses, belts, thermostat, anti-freeze, PCV, air filter, oil change - new HEI distributor and wires - new 3 point seat belts - all tires almost new and matching - rear just serviced with new fluid, posi additive, and new seal Everything works as it should (factory gauges, horn, heater, etc.) except the radio. Truck is solid could use rockers and cab corners to be rust free, has dent in front fender (replacement included). I did not do any body work to it, wanted the original patina. This is a great shop truck or driver, needs nothing, just get in it and go. As they say, its Bitchin! Truck is sold as is where is, all shipping arrangements are up to the buyer but will help as much as I can. Additional pictures upon request.

This truck was completely disassembled and the body was pulled from the frame. The frame was torn down, sand blasted, and painted. The suspension was completely and upgraded with dropped spindles, Brothers tubular control arms, and lowering coil springs front and rear for a total 4”/6” drop front and rear. KYB GR-2 shocks were installed. The body was sent to North Deland Auto Body in DeLand Fl. It was stripped to bare metal and anything that needed to be replaced, Goodmark metal was used. The body was smoothed to perfection then primered, block sanded again, finally several coats of PPG Atlantic Blue Pearl were laid on, color sanded and then cleared. The finish was wet sanded and polished smooth for a show quality finish. New trim and chrome was installed. The bed was done in Line-X and a wood floor installed for a durable show quality look. Topping off the bed is a Gaylord locking fiberglass cover. The beautiful interior was done by Best Auto Upholstery in DeLand Fl. The stock seat was redone and covered in custom gray and blue tweed. New carpeting was installed. Stock door panels were used. A Flaming River billet tilt column replaced the stock and a custom steering wheel adds comfort for the grip. A complete set of Omega Kustom gauge set monitors the engines vitals mounted in a custom Carbon Fiber gauge pod. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3 Stereo is mounted in a custom removable armrest on the seat for easy access and a clean dashboard. A frenched in antenna helps get the radio waves. A billet Lokar automatic shifter pokes out of the floor. Vintage Air cools you down while cruising the hot summer nights. The engine compartment is super nice, detailed, and painted to match the truck. Power this killer ride is a performance 350 crate motor. It has a beefed up cam, Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, Holley Carburetor, MSD Distributor and MSD 6A spark box, Be Cool Aluminum Radiator with Twin Electric Fans, Headman Headers into dual Flowmaster 50 Series mufflers. The engine is dressed up with Billet Pulleys, Chrome Alternator, and Chrome A/C Compressor. Billet valve covers and Air Cleaner with K&N filter top off the looks department under the hood. Backing up the engine is a rebuilt automatic transmission. Volusia Drive Train rebuilt the trucks rear and added an Eaton Posi unit and 3.08 gears for easy highway cruising. The truck was completely rewired with a new Painless Wiring kit. A mini power steering pump was added for that high tech look and easy steering. Power disc brakes were added up front with a chrome master cylinder and booster. Rolling stock consists of 17” Torque Thrust wheels with 235/55/17 up front and 275/60/17 rear tires. This truck runs strong and drives very well with only approximately 4000 miles on it since it’s been built.
