This is a beautiful, all original 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe in stunning condition inside and out. It is a truly an all-original car with only 6K original miles on it. This Lincoln is 41 years old but in every possible regard, it is virtually a new car. It is a true time capsule and has been pampered all its life and it shows! This Lincoln in my opinion is "One of the nicest, most original 1976 Continental Coupe's in the world". It was ordered in gorgeous Classic White with a truly amazing all original red leather interior. The car rust free and is solid as rock. It is absolutely loaded with factory options, which include factory air conditioning and power everything. I have had the privilege of selling many of these cars but have rarely come across one as nice and original as this one here. Don't forget the huge 460ci power plant, just try and find another one like this!! This car has a very nice story and explains the extremely low miles it has. The car was purchased new by a truck driver in Amarillo, TX, at Bradley Lincoln Mercury. As being a truck driver, he very rarely drove the car as he was on the road all the time driving his truck. Also, the reason for the CB radio in the car. In 1985 the gentleman got injured and could not drive anymore, so the car sat in the garage for next 31 years. He loved the car so much he would not sell it. In 2016 the gentleman passed away and the family finally sold the car. So this is basically a one owner car its entire life. The car had amazing storage and was kept in like new condition. After the many years of storage, we did go through the car mechanically and put new tires on it. The body is totally solid and is as straight as an arrow. The body was stripped to bare metal before it was painted. The doors and lids were removed for a more comprehensive professional restoration. Every piece of chrome and the stainless on the car is brand new inside and out and is in show condition. This car really shows like a diamond! It is sitting on a set of brand new Coker wide white wall tires with fully polished hubcaps that look amazing!! It has a beautiful, completely all new black genuine leather interior in it that looks amazing. It has new chrome on the instrument panel and throughout the interior. The wood veneer on the doors and dash were completely restored. Everything works on the car, which includes the power top, power windows, power seat, power locks, AM Radio, Clock, all the gauges and lights. The power windows and the power top system have been all gone through and work great. The original AM radio and power antenna was completely rebuilt and works great for tunes while cruising this baby. All of the power top motors and switches were fully rebuilt. It has a completely rebuilt convertible top mechanism and hydraulics by noted local Lincoln expert Ken Berger including new cylinders, lines, motors and relays. The black German Haartz cloth canvas convertible top is brand new. Inside the trunk is also fully redone using the correct material! Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives beautiful. The engine compartment is all stock and beautifully detailed to show condition. This car always starts right up and floats down the road like new. It has correct 430ci engine runs smooth and quiet and is true pleasure to drive. It also has a brand new exhaust system on it. For complete driving comfort it has a new vintage air conditioning and heating system installed in the car that blows 36 degrees at the vents. This system uses the factory A/C vents plus and few extra vents added for maximum cooling on those hot days. This system was installed due to the fact that it works 50 times better then the factory A/C system and yet still looks factory!! This is an ultra rare classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on and is one of the best years for the Lincoln Continental convertibles. They only made a limited amount of Lincoln Continental convertibles in 1963. I have owned over 50 Continental convertibles in the past several years and this is the nicest one out of all them. The previous, nicest one sold for over $100K a couple years ago this car tops that car in overall quality and condition. There is a lot of junk for sale out there and it would cost over $100K just in restoration costs to make any of them the quality of this particular car.
