67 Continental convertible. Clean Florida car with zero rust. Recently had the chassis redone, brakes, exhaust, and shocks are also newer. Top is in good condition, and remote top mechanism is in working order. Car has auto temp control with working AC. Runs excellent with a Edelbrock conversion, done properly to fit as if OE. Interior is in good condition, with vinyl door panels and Naugahyde seats. Tilt wheel, power vent windows, and power head rest on the passenger side of bucket seats. Paint is in good condition, but the car overall is excellent. You could hop into the car and take a long road trip tomorrow, or with very little work turn it into the show car of your dreams.

1998 Lincoln Continental Transmission needs rebuild. 1st gear is gone, 2nd 3rd and 4th work fine. Just don't have the time and space to fix. 1965 Lincoln Continental Convertible, Brand new paint and new interior. I have driven this car less than 200 miles since the restoration of this car, I just got it back from the paint shop and I just got the seats reupholstered less than one month ago too. brand new convertible top also. History of this car. I purchased this car about two years ago, and have been working on her for the last two years. It had been sitting since 1982, Yes 1982 was the last time it was driven before I woke her up and started fixing her up. It has always been a California car. NEVER had any rust rot, very solid car, never any major accident. This is the solid California car everybody wants. I have a done a once over on the mechanics of the car and I have replaced all parts that I noticed needed immediate attention. Many parts are still original. This car has a very smooth ride and demands respect and attention as she goes down the road. I have not had the opportunity to drive it much since I finished putting her back together.If you live in California and want the original black license plates let me know. OIL PRESSURE PROBLEM, After I got the car all back together I started to hear an internal light tick sound. I found that the car has low oil pressure at an idle that causes the lifters to make a sound. So I had my mechanic replace the rod and main bearings and oil pump. I am surprised I still have low oil pressure. I put thick oil in the motor and that helped a lot. At this point I do not know what the cause of the low oil pressure. It could be cam bearings, or a bad pick up tube at oil pump or???? I have dropped my price by $4500. I did have the car sold for $32k two weeks ago, but was trying to fix the problem. Today I am dropping the price to $27,500. The car actually runs and drives great, but the oil pressure problem should be addressed. The engine idles fine, does not smoke, has plenty of power and the motor sounds great beside the light ticking sound that comes and goes after the oil warms up. The following parts are new (new means no more than two years old and currently less than 200 mile on part) Main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump,Water pump, Fuel pump,most coolant and fuel hoses,Battery, points condensor cap and rotor spark plugs and spark plug wires, vacuum advance, fuel tank sending unit. The brakes I replaced the master cylinder, front rubber brake lines and the proportioning valve. new tires too. Paint and BodyThe paint job is less than 60 days old. It is a black Lincoln color. It is a base coat/clear coat paint. It has three coats of black paint and three coats of clear on her. It has not been color sanded or buffed out. I do have pics of the body before she was painted, and I could email or text the pics if you need to see the prep work if you are a serious potential buyer, All chrome is original. All glass is original. no cracks or breaks. Interior New canvas top,New carpet,and both seats have been reupholstered. The door panels are original, interior looks fantastic. Power top goes up and down as it shouldpower windows work, although the auto drop and return on the rear driver does glitch out sometimesAll gauges work as they should.Transmission shifts as it should.Brakes stop well, 1965 is the first year of factory disk brakes on front.All headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals,horn work as they shouldThe clock even works (it does need the time adjusted once a week or so)Sometimes the power antenna works, but original radio looks great but does not work.Power seat works all directions as it should.Power door locks work as they should. The Factory A/C is 100% there, but does not currently blow cold. I recommend converting it to 134a freon. Only 3300 Convertibles where made in 1965. I was told that less than 550 1965 convertible Lincolns are currently registered in the entire USA. This is a pretty rare car. Most Lincoln gurus agree 1965 is the best year for Lincoln. They made convertible suicide door Lincolns from 1961 thru 1967. 1965 is the best year because it is the first year of front disk brake, it had a stretched back seat area so rear passengers had more than enough leg room. It has the the one year only elegant grill, one year only tail lights and front turn signal. 1961-63 did not have enough rear leg room, and 1966-67 are kinda funky. 1964 is the second best year for Lincolns. If you are going buy a Lincoln why not buy the best year?? $27,500, I may consider a reasonable offer, but I am not depreciate and I know a nice Lincoln is worth between $30K to $60K . If I do not sale the car soon I will fix the oil pressure problem and raise my price to around $35k. This is your opportunity to get a great Lincoln for a cheap price. $27,500 or call with reasonable offer.I would prefer cash in person. show up in person and pay cash and I will give you a lot of extra convertible parts. 1963 Lincoln Continental Numbers matching Purchased from the original owner’s family Highlander Green Metallic Exterior (code 1453) Pearl Gold Crinkle Leather (code 88) 75,600 original miles Body Tag: 53A S 88 11A 15 1 4 VIN: 3Y82N419708 Hello all, I have offered for sale my 1963 Lincoln Continental in beautiful highlander green metallic (not many in this color). It is a numbers matching car that was used as a weekend car by the original owner when I bought it. Super solid…no rust or rot anywhere. 430 MEL engine that runs like new. VR1 high zinc oil used, mobil 1 in the rear diff. Plugs, wires, cap, belts, hoses, power steering lines and brakes were all done this year. Bias ply tires are old, but in mint condition and have full tread. Car rides like new, shifts and idles like new. Power everything, power windows, power wing windows, power seat and power radio antenna and they all work…everything. All lights, interior, dome, trunk, door panel, headlights, taillights, blinkers, marker…etc….all work. The clock works too. This car has not been chopped or messed with and it retains the original paint on the hood, roof, and trunk. The sides were repainted. There was never any rot on the car and the frame is perfect and has the original undercoating still on it. The wiring in the car is untouched and perfect. I’ve installed an electric fuel pump for simple turn key starting. The car starts and idles instantly and the motor runs smooth as glass. Ashtrays and lighters on both rear seats that work. The interior is beautiful with the leather seats showing wrinkles, but no rips. The carpet, door panels, dash pad and headliner are flawless. The only thing the car is missing is the original spare tire, but the jack and tools are there. Nothing on the interior has been touched…still the original radio and speakers work fine. New battery also. You can drive this car across the country. Engine runs cool with no issues. All gauges work perfectly. All the chrome is mint and shines awesome. Original factory hubcaps, original floor mats and keys. There is a small ding on the edge of the trunk (see pic) and that’s the only ding. A few spots on the hood from bird droppings that are etched in, but the paint looks amazing. A digital copy of the factory service manual comes with the car. Clean NJ title in my name in hand. Up for sale is my 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. I built it myself it runs great, I need a new project now since this one is done. It has posi and will burn out on command. The dual exhaust with X pipe on a big block sounds amazing. Suicide Slab Side! Hard top 1964 Lincoln Continental sedan. This has been a long time project and labor of love. Destined to be awesome! Great lines! Great body! Great power! Everything in the engine compartment was taken out and compartment was painted in 2005/2006. It has been garage kept ever since.... Engine and transmission professionally rebuilt! Nice! I have the receipts somewhere. They were both done in 2006 and has probably less than 3k miles on it. I drove it a few times a year and it sat in the garage. (I got married and had a kid :) The speedometer was recently replaced so the displayed miles are not accurate. Rebuilt power steering from Bakers Auto. Rust free hood from deserts of California. Dual master-cylinder. Electric fuel pump. Transmission cooler. Fuel tank removed and cleaned and lined. 2 new mufflers Upgraded timing chain Motor-mounts Water pump Alternator Edelbrock 1406 carburetor - installed 6 months ago and she run and idles smoothly! Electronic Ignition and Flamethrower coil.- installed 6 months ago All orig leather seats. (Handmade covers for back and front..pink leopard fur?! I don't have the front seat covers on for the pic but I can take some if you request.) Window switches upgraded and all windows work One original horn installed and works. Steering column bushings replaced. No major body rust problems (door jambs show the worst surface) Brake calipers and pads, and some lines. Good brakes. Antenna goes up and down- sweet! Have all door, ignition and trunk keys. Many other upgrades and new parts... A lot of time, effort and money have been put into this car. Its ready for the finishing touches! The following have not been restored / or have problems or issues: AC- removed and never reinstalled (I have the compressor and a doner) Heater / Vent control - (Vacuum line problem- blower works but heater valve not getting vacuum from switch) Blinkers (they work properly until you step on the brake- then they just stay on and don't blink) Drivers door lock Trunk liner- old was removed - I still have the hard under-forms and tire cover if you want them Interior headliner (has a few holes) Carpet/ flooring (has rips and holes) Passenger seat power adjust not currently working- it was working a few years ago. Suspension ( I have brand new leaf springs for it that I have not installed- Many people "bag" or put on an air suspension package) Small chip in windshield Clock- works intermittently Radio - original installed (Also has aftermarket that is easily removable- no damage done) Door jamb rust- never attempted to fix or paint Some emblems not attached to side of car, but I have them. I also have the orig air filter housing and many other orig parts. Feel free to ask questions or come take a test drive. I cannot match my local CL Birmingham Alabama add price due to fees. 2001 Lincoln continental This car was hit hard on the drivers side (see photos). Parts have been removed: grill, grill opening panel reinforcement, driver & passenger exterior mirrors, headlights, driver & passenger pw switches, one aluminum rim, drivers side wheel bearing & knuckle assembly was replaced with a junk one. The car had good tires which were removed and swapped with junk tires. This car was driven by a family member, has just 100k miles, no rust. Engine runs well and trans shifts perfectly. Local pickup or willing to deliver within a 100 miles for travel reimbursement of $1 per loaded mile (plus tolls). Please email with any questions.
