This is a 1967 Ford Thunderbird. I bought it from a shop that was restoring it, but went out of business. The engine is the 7.0 liter, big block 428. Most of these came with 390's, so the 428 is pretty rare. The engine was freshly rebuilt when I bought it, and has done less thin 500 miles since. It warms up very nicely and runs strong. The car recently had the suspension gone through and restored. At this time I also added front and rear anti-sway bars. The clock is a new old stock piece and works, but has been disconnected. It has supplementary gauges for oil, temperature and battery. New fuel gauge sending unit, custom auto sound radio with remote control and new speakers (in original spots). Car had just finished a full repaint when I bought it. Paint is Wimbledon white with a black painted top. Black stripes are on top of the clear coat, so it should be easily removable. Tires are brand new, new battery, remote control for door locks. Electric windows and seat work well, trunk is clean with spare tire and jack. Headlight doors work, and the electrical system has been recently gone through, including all new dash bulbs and rear sequential tail lights have been sorted out. Air conditioner and heater blow, but A/C does not get cold. Everything seems to work (and the compressor was replaced just before I bought it), so probably just needs a charge. Chrome and trim are all good as well. Even the swing away steering wheel and idiot lights work. Steering box was rebuilt when suspension was gone through recently. Fuel lines and vacuum lines are new and car has been recently tuned. The car has a clean California title, currently PNO. Dash has a single crack, and has been covered with a vinyl cover. Steering wheel is wrapped and the car has brand new custom floor mats. Carpet kit is new, as is the foam in the drivers power seat. Door panels are in good shape, although the carpet on the bottoms needs trimming. No problems, clunking or banging, although the rubber on the motor mounts is cracking. Has day-night rear view mirror and remote driver side mirror. Interior is very nice black, with a small (less than a dime) poke hole in the headliner. So much has been done on it, it is hard for me to keep track. I have receipts for the work that has been done since I bought it. I will be including pictures in the next few days, but I am not a great photographer. I am happy to talk about the car to your heart's content, and will even consider a trade (maybe). When you look down the sides it is hard to find any dings, It took me a few minutes, but I did find a couple of really small ones that I show in the video below. It still has all the Trim and Molding pieces on the car and they still look really good. You can tell that they took care of this car. The worst thing I could find is the paint is a little faded and the clear coat is starting to peel on the roof. It runs and drives like a Dream. Not to mention a blast to drive. The Clutch is nice and tight when you are shifting. This car came fully loaded with just about everything that you could want in a car. 16” Factory Alloy Wheels with Fusion Tires. The tires are in good shape and still have a lot of tread left on them. Selling for a friend who bought a new car. It served him well over the years. I have the carfax on hand and the Arizona title. I haven't checked out too much myself. I do know that he drove over 300 miles to bring it to me to sell. So that is a sign that it runs well. The drivers window does not work and there is a pretty big dent on the passenger front fender (as pictured). The AC and heater did work when I tried them. The engine is strong and pushes you back in your seat pretty good. The leather has typical wear and the drivers seat seems to be stuck in a more laid back position. The car did pass AZ smog last year, but I'm not sure about CA smog. You will receive a single key with remote, a title where I signed the back, and a bill of sale from me to you. The car is sold as is with no assurance of anything working. However, I am trying to describe this accurately so there are no surprises on pickup. The original airbox is not there, it has a cone air filter intake. Also there seems to be some exhaust modification as it is louder than normal. I will try to get a picture of the exhaust system when I can.
