This is a 1967 Ford Thunderbird. I bought it from a shop that was restoring it, but went out of business. The engine is the 7.0 liter, big block 428. Most of these came with 390's, so the 428 is pretty rare. The engine was freshly rebuilt when I bought it, and has done less thin 500 miles since. It warms up very nicely and runs strong. The car recently had the suspension gone through and restored. At this time I also added front and rear anti-sway bars. The clock is a new old stock piece and works, but has been disconnected. It has supplementary gauges for oil, temperature and battery. New fuel gauge sending unit, custom auto sound radio with remote control and new speakers (in original spots). Car had just finished a full repaint when I bought it. Paint is Wimbledon white with a black painted top. Black stripes are on top of the clear coat, so it should be easily removable. Tires are brand new, new battery, remote control for door locks. Electric windows and seat work well, trunk is clean with spare tire and jack. Headlight doors work, and the electrical system has been recently gone through, including all new dash bulbs and rear sequential tail lights have been sorted out. Air conditioner and heater blow, but A/C does not get cold. Everything seems to work (and the compressor was replaced just before I bought it), so probably just needs a charge. Chrome and trim are all good as well. Even the swing away steering wheel and idiot lights work. Steering box was rebuilt when suspension was gone through recently. Fuel lines and vacuum lines are new and car has been recently tuned. The car has a clean California title, currently PNO. Dash has a single crack, and has been covered with a vinyl cover. Steering wheel is wrapped and the car has brand new custom floor mats. Carpet kit is new, as is the foam in the drivers power seat. Door panels are in good shape, although the carpet on the bottoms needs trimming. No problems, clunking or banging, although the rubber on the motor mounts is cracking. Has day-night rear view mirror and remote driver side mirror. Interior is very nice black, with a small (less than a dime) poke hole in the headliner. So much has been done on it, it is hard for me to keep track. I have receipts for the work that has been done since I bought it. I am selling my restored 69 Thunderbird. I have been working on it for past year and a half. I am dealing with health issues and just not up to working on it any more. It is mostly done but needs some finishing. Signals need to be fixed. They did work and i don't know what happened but one day the just stopped working. I bought another brain and plugged it in and they still didn't work.( New brain will be included). Drivers seat has a tear (see pictures) but interior is original leather. Lots of new parts Carpet, new gas tank, new gas indicator in tank,New working clock, entire inter including trunk has sound barrier. I have not added radio yet as the original doesn't work and i will include another radio face if you want to go aftermarket. Original rebuilt engine Which is a 429 cobra jet bored 30 over with aluminum heads. Roller rockers performer cam , Edelbrock intake Holley carb with edelbrock air filter. Exhaust is mostly in great shape . I did add rear speakers and run wires to front and marked them,original front door speaker panels . excellent transmission. New engine has less than 500 miles on it. Tall aluminum valve covers I have driven it around town a few times ( Lots of stares and flattering comments). New tires and wheels. Good breaks, good front end. Entire bottom has been coated. I have poured myself into this project and would like for someone to love it and enjoy it. This is a very nice vehicle that can be enjoyed for years to come. I have tried to disclose all i can think of and if i remember anything else ill add it later. Feel free to ask questions and though i will post as many pictures as i can if you want more i have them from beginning to end, so just ask and ill forward them to you. I have added more, pictures hope they will reveal more of what you all are looking for. Seats are leather another rare feature. I also have original heads and intake if you are interested (Additional cost). I also includes a full size spare on original rim and original jack .

1960 Ford Thunderbird (Second Generation)The new Thunderbird was considerably larger than the previous generation, with a longer 113.0 inches (2,870 mm) wheelbase to accommodate the new back seat. The increased size also increased the car's weight significantly by close to 1,000 pounds (454 kg). One of a kind car! Owned by my family since it was purchased from the showroom floor in Central Pennsylvania in the spring of 1979. Rustproofed by the dealer, never smoked in, garaged stored for 35 years. the car relocated to Ohio in April 2014 it was registered with Ohio Classic license plates. Recently, relocated by a professional auto hauler to Escondido, CA. I'm selling now because I no longer have sufficient storage space.
