For the discerning motorist we have an iconic 1968 fastback for sale. This car was a gift to a chef who worked at a restaurant. I guess the cook was never on time to work, so in 1995 the car was presented to the chef with the hopes he would get to his shift at 5:30 am on the button. It worked. The man drove the car all around for 10 years until he opened his own restaurant, where after paying him a pretty penny, I am supposed to have a lifetime of free huevos rancheros. The mustang is what I would like to call in "old warrior" condition. The car has seen its share of battles and when i requested some service docs, he said it never broke down, ever, so he didn't have any. Thats a good mustang! It does have rust in the drivers lower fender and may have spread all around down there, including the frame. There is a picture of it and I have 100 pictures for serious buyers. I spent a year in Australia and would love to send it down under since you Aussies are such great folk and took excellent care of us. The fastback runs well, holds a gear and has new brakes. The trunk is solid and the rear 1/4s are rock hard. The car has been in dry storage for almost a decade. The previous owner rigged up a soft fuel line from the tank on up and that should be upgraded immediately. This great old fastback has run and run and run and now it deserves a sympathetic resto to get it back right. It could be run around as a warrior or taken to another level. The choice is yours. The paint shines but is scratched and faded. The car runs but is in need of fine tuning and mechanicals. Here we have a great solid platform for you to have a kick ass fastback. It is a classic muscle car in every detail. Best of all it shows only 27,961 miles on the odometer.According to the decoded data from VIN# 9R02H177489, this pony car original came from the Ford factory with a 351 cubic-inch engine. The current period-correct 351 engine was rebuilt in 2009 and it is super tight with plenty of performance.To ensure that electrically it is sound, the A/C blows cold all day long, and that all the gauges and switches function like new again, the car was rewired by the restoration team at Family Service Center in 2015. Other notables include gas shocks, a dual Flowmaster exhaust system, Energy Suspension bushings, and aftermarket front anti-sway bar.In fact, more than $17,000 was invested in the car to ensure that it lives up to its reputation as a high-performance Camaro eater (receipts available). In detail, the A/C evaporator box was replaced, the heater ducts and vacuum climate control system restored. This 1969 Mach 1 looks and runs great. I have a clear California title that will be mailed to the buyer. I don't have a lot of information about this Mach 1, it was sold in an estate sale. I was told that lots of money was put into this car and the engine and transmission are both original. I think it is the 351 Windsor Engine. This Mach 1 has lots of upgrades and extras as you can see from the pictures. It also has a rollbar that can be taken out. The rear seats are the original seats. The car is a bit loud. This Mach 1 is a driver-quality vehicle. The car looks great and drives great. I think I still have the original hood scoop and the rear trunk tail. This fastback just had a full restoration and upgrades it is a factory S code fastback with power steering ac power front discs rear drum breaks this is a highly optioned Southern California Nevada very rare 68 fastback not a conversion or repop body it started life as a blue on blue 1968 gt fastback with a 390 and auto it has been upgraded to a 4 speed manual and mustang 2 front suspension cd with usb. If you are looking for a great car that you can take out and drive this is the one for you the only reason I'm selling is that im building a very custom 66 fastback and don't have room for both of them. I am listing this vehicle for a friend of mine that owns it. The vehicle is a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback GT. The vehicle has had 3 owners with my friend being the third owner. The vehicle has a clean title. The vehicle is used and is in good condition. The vehicle has been in a smoke-free environment. Vehicle is in excellent working condition and engine runs good and does not knock. There is no rust on the vehicle. The side mirror for passenger side is in owner's possession and they will install before selling. The vehicle needs a new inside door panel on driver side. The vehicle needs some upholstery work up above the back seats under the rear window. On the passenger side where the side mirror goes it needs a little touch up paint and a little light weight body filler by where the side mirror is installed. The vehicle has approximately 90% of its original parts. The engine has been rebuilt. Odometer reads 183,187 miles. About 2,000 of those miles are on the rebuilt engine. The vehicle has new carpet, a new dashboard, new front windshield, new front suspension and new radiator. The vehicle is kept mostly in my friend's garage. The vehicle has original Automatic C5 Transmission. The vehicle has a Windsor 302 Cubic Inch V8 engine, 210 BHP and 300 lb. ft. of torque. The engine has an Edelbrock Intake and Carburetor as well as Mickey Thompson Valve Covers. The Tires are Dunlop 225/452 R1790W SP Sport FM901 with light wear. The owner also has the original carburetor. The vehicle was purchased from Westside Body Shop in San Jose that is located on G street and a mechanic there did all the work for the rebuilt of the engine.
