It is street leagal and registered. It has brand new Goodyear tires in the front and brand new DOT approved Hoosier Street ET tires on the back. Centerline aluminum rims, 15x4 on the front and 15x14 on the rear. All the lights are in working order. It has a line lock on the front brakes for burn outs. The rear end is a shortened Ford nine inch with 456 gears and a spool. The body is tubbed and can handle up to 16" wide tires. It has an extended full length frame, and traction bars installed. The carburetor is a Holley 750cfm 4150 supercharger carb. There is an 8 point saftey roll cage and a 5 point safety harness on both passenger and driver side. The ignition is all MSD with an AL6 MSD box and a two step rev limiter (controlled launch). MSD billet distributer. The motor is a ridged mount rebuilt Chevrolet 355CI. It is balanced with a racing camshaft and will shift a 6500 RPMs. It has a low profile 142 B&M Supercharger. It has around 400-450 HP (no dyno). Chevrolet Performance 1.5 aluminum full roller rocker arms. The transmission is a TH350 stage II with a B&M slap shifter and a 3500 stall converter. It has keyed power (you need a key to start it), temp and oil pressure gauges, with switches for ignition, fuel pump, fan, and a starter button. The starter is a mini torquer. It has racing tuned Hooker Headers with Flowmaster Super 10 Delta Flow 2.5" duel exhaust. The fuel cell and battery are in the trunk. It has a new paint job and a new carpet kit. It has fiberglass fenders, hood, and bumpers. It runs mid 12s in the 1/4 mile, it's not perfect but it looks good, goes real fast and is a lot of fun to drive especially around town. It doesn't matter if you're at the racetrack, a car show, or getting groceries this car turns a lot of heads and gets comments everywhere I go! 2 owner all original 1973 Chevy Nova. The original owner of this car purchased it in 73 and drove it until just this past year according to the most recent 2nd owner. Originally we were thinking of restoring this car with a new LS motor, but after driving it back from the purchase (60 miles at 70-80mph) realized what a great car this one is in it's original state.The tires are new and the rally wheels were just recently added. In no way is this car perfect, but as a driver, it's a 10. Everything works, even the seat belt buzzer. The transmission shifts like brand new and the car has no slack in the steering while stopping on a dime with no pull. The glass is perfect and the aftermarket stereo with 6x9 speakers sounds great. (Note / No speaker holes in doors).The car has a new battery and alternator and all the gauges work including the wiper system. the seats where just recently recovered and look like new as you can see in the photos.If you are looking for an all original Nova, this is the one. If you are looking for a great starter car, this is the one as well. As for the cosmetic condition, the car body is rust free throughout with the exception of the top. As with most older vinyl tops, cancer does evolve over time and you can see in a number of places where the top vinyl will need to be removed / restored etc noting the top will need some body work to repair the rust areas. The headliner is ok, but should be replaced (a new ABS vinyl 1 piece headliner sells for $206) The dash has a couple of cracks, but can be replaced for around $199. The car is a looker at 10 feet, but should be repainted as it appears to have an older paint job. The last issue cosmetically is the front drivers side fender. You can see where it was tagged and needs to be either pulled or completely replaced ($249 Classic Industries) The front bumper might be able to be straightened, but if you are restoring the car, there are tons of options on the internet. We are somewhat firm on the price, but open to serious offers and can help with the shipping arrangements if necessary.
