We are proud to offer for sale a rare 1966 Lincoln 4 Door Convertible VIN # 6Y86G414059, one of a limited production run of 3180 produced in 1966. We acquired this car on September of 2013 from a lawyer in Buffalo NY. His family owned this car since the early 1990’s, and because of a divorce between his parents the car sat untouched in his mother’s garage since then. When we received the car it was in clean rust free condition and had been repainted to a burgundy color. Originally the cars exterior color is Teakwood (Color code H) and interior is pinkish (we have all the original upholstery; it was in great condition with no rips; only flaw was the undesirable paint color). Photos of the car prior to the restoration project and as progress was made are available upon request. We have restored this car to its original condition; only a few small things have been upgraded like the brake master cylinder, AC converted to R134A, Dynamat added to the floor panel and rear deck lid, and the exterior color changed to black; otherwise this car is completely original. No expense was spared to use NOS or rebuilt parts to keep the cars originality and to make sure it drives and works just like new, just like it was in 1966. All original parts were saved and will be passed on to the new owner. This was not a frame off restoration but came very close to it. Please review all the pictures and you will observe that the engine and transmission were removed and parts around them were sand blasted and coated in either paint or POR-15 to protect the chassis and frame cross members from rust. The only sheet metal part that had to be cut off and replaced was the battery tray; for some odd reason Ford used different metal to make the trays therefore they always have to be replaced. At this time the vehicle has been driven over 1500 miles since it was put together. Each mile driven was used to make adjustments and fine tuning and to ensure the vehicle is in top running shape. We are confident to say that this car can be driven cross-country without any hesitation; we did a 350-mile day run in August with 90+ temperatures without any issues. Below we will make a list of parts and work done to the vehicle. The car is painted in Global PPG Color code C040 Schwartz the same found on Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The clear is a PPG DELTRON 4000 the car has four coats all around. The interior is done in black leather with white piping; the carpet is made by Jim Wallace of Leather Restorations in Florida the only company making an exact carpet specifically made for this car and has a the original rubber padding with the Lincoln logo like the car had when new. The top is also made by Jim Wallace and is an exact replica of the factory top with padding to hide the wires. The top is brand new but during installation and adjustment each side received a small scratch quarter of an inch long next to the chrome part on the rear of the roof. The top received all brand new weather-stripping; it took over 6 months to receive the handmade parts and the top weather stripping kit alone costs over $4K. The entire top and window electronics work like new: most of the window switches have been replaced and all new window motors installed. The rear windows roll down when you open the doors and roll up when the doors are closed. Some of the hydraulic top motors were replaced, some were sent out to be rebuilt. Most of the rubber moldings and padding all around the car are brand new except for the two moldings around the rear doors; the car’s moldings were in great shape and they were not replaced. Over $8k has been spent just on the weather stripping. All electronics work on the car but the A track comes in very low; the auxiliary jack we added will allow you to play music from your phone or MP3 player. The AUX jack is just one of the few items we replaced or added that are not original it can be easily removed. The engine was rebuilt by Complete Engine Rebuilding in NY in December of 2014 and still includes the remainder of the warranty. The transmission was rebuilt in June of 2015 by Dolphin Transmissions of NY and has a one year warranty. We supplied a complete Fatsco rebuilt kit so everything including the valve body was replaced. The cooling system is all brand new including the radiator, expansion tanks and all the hoses. The fuel system was completely rebuild with new filter and most of the lines replaced. The carburetor was rebuild using all original parts by J.C. Carburetor of NY, the fuel pump was rebuild by Bakers Auto in CT and the Fuel Tank by Liberty Auto In NY. The AC system has been updated to R134A: every part from the condenser, AC compressor, hoses, expansion valves are brand new; the only rebuilt part is the evaporator. The rear leaf springs and the suspension were rebuilt as well using all new bushings, shocks and bolts; all parts were provided by us and the work was done by Long Life Auto Spring in NY. The front end is completely new: most parts were brand new NOS; the calipers and the control arms we rebuilt since no replacements are available. The brake system has all brand new lines, the brake booster was updated, and a portioning valve was added to control the front disc brakes and rear drums. The power steering system has been rebuilt with all new hoses and filters. The exhaust system is Stainless Steel and is completely new with new headers. The wheels were all sandblasted and powder coated in black to match the car. The tires are Coker White walls brand new with 1500 miles on them; we added the warranty from Coker that will pass on to the new owner. The spare wheel was also repaired and sandblasted in the grey original factory color; a brand new tire for the spare wheel installed. The trunk has a brand new upholstery kit also manufactured by Jim Wallace. Most of the chrome and steel parts were sent out to S & H Chrome Refinishing in Tennessee: you have over $14K in re-chromed parts. A few pieces still need to be refinished but they are minor and hard to notice like trim that sun visors attach to and rear window frames; we have the new rear window frames as they just arrived from S & H and will pass along to the new owner. We are confident we have not mentioned even half the improvement and restoration work that was done on this vehicle; but if you have any questions about a particular part or how certain work was performed, we have documented the process and can answer any questions and address all concerns. The receipts for labor and parts add up to much more than what we are asking for the car but at this time we must let this one go… . If you plan to use a car carrier to pickup the car it must be inspected and any concerns addressed before the car leaves our possession, once we hand over the keys to the car we are not responsible. The car must be paid for within 7 days after the auction ends and picked with 10 days after the end of auction. Please ask all questions and make inspections before bidding on the car. This is a relist thanks to gudhkara (59)Based in United States, gudhkara has been an eBay member since Feb 29, 2004PLEASE TALK TO YOUR WIFE BEFORE WASTING A SELLERS TIME AND MONEY. Top going down youtube videohttps://youtu.be/7fq3sOTFw5c For sale 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible 73K original miles. First and most important -the top operates FLAWLESSLY going up and down. The top/trunk key switch on the rear quarter panel works perfectly. EVERYTHING electrical works, all power windows work, all lights, blinkers, indicators, radio. The body and chassis are rust free. All floors are solid original. The brown seen in the trunk pictures are factory glue/sealer. The only rust is minor surface rust as seen in pictures. The paint looks good from 10ft away, it has cracks and has flaked off in some areas(see PICS) the front of the car has the original paint. The back of the car was resprayed at some point but there is no body damage and no rust, all panels are solid . The chrome is very good in most places, you can see some flaking on the front top bumper. The interior leather is still soft and in mint condition. The whole interior is mint except for a 2 inch crack on the front speaker grill. There are no rips ,tear or wear on the inside. The car runs and drives OK .The transmission operates perfectly. The engine runs rough and there is an exhaust leak on the left exhaust manifold gasket. The plugs ,cap, rotor, wires were replaced. The carburetor was rebuilt. The tires are excellent, no rot and plenty of tread(almost new). Suspension steering are good -no vibrations and tracks straight , very smooth cruising at 65mph. All keys work , the ignition, doors, glove box and power trunk. Items that have to be fixed are : Air Conditioning- the compressor works fine, the system is charged and the lines get ice cold but it does not blow cold air thru the vents. The power seat does not move forward. Clock does not work.Power antenna mast is broken. Gas gauge does not work, but low fuel warning light does work. PLEASE PLEASE call me or text me for any questions anytime. My main concern is to make sure the new owner is happy and leaves me positive feedback for a smooth transaction. 516 250 2605I work during the day and may not be able to answer right away but please leave a message and I will call you back ASAP. The car is located an hour north of NYC in Poughkeepsie,NY 12601 near Olive Garden. I highly encourage you to come and inspect the car first. This is an absolutely beautiful rare example of a Black 1972 Continental. You just don't find these cars around in this kind of superior condition. This car is an authentic vehicle that has been cared for since it rolled off the lot. The interior is in excellent shape - and so is the paint. It appears to be original with some spot touch ups over its history. This car has been part of an extensive private Lincoln collection and is now offered at a very reasonable price. This car is in excellent mechanical condition and can be driven anywhere. This classic Lincoln has been properly cared for and stored over the years. Will not disappoint. The car is located just outside of Buffalo NY and is for sale locally. I reserve the right to pull the Auction at anytime. If you are a buyer that does not have any positive feedback and wishes to buy this car, you must contact me first before selecting the buy it now or making an offer. Your bid will not be honored otherwise. The car is believed to have less than 23,000 original miles. The condition of the car indicates that the mileage is correct, however there is no documentation to provide. I am a Lincoln Collector and I believe this car to be a 23k mile car. The cars is very, very nice. Runs excellent and has been properly maintained. Car will drive anywhere.

It Grabs attention where ever you take it. Constant compliments. Color shines like a Brand New Penny! THIS IS A $50,000 CAR WITH A RESERVE SET WAY UNDER THAT!! I WILL COVER TRANSPORTATION IN THE LOWER 48 STATES IF YOU USE BUY IT NOW! Recent Cosmetic Restoration, see below for Full details... Drives like you are on a cloud and sounds awesome! Plenty of POWER in the 462 inch original motor. A LOT! Of $ was recently invested in this super cool ride. Following is a detailed description of the car and items done to it in the Past Year. Interior: We just had ALL windows on the car completely professionally serviced by a LINCOLN SPECIALIST and they work great from ALL switches.1. All window regulators were cleaned/ lubricated.2. Windows were All adjusted.3. Switches were ALL cleaned and or replaced.4. Rear windows drop automatically when rear door is opened! Just like from the Factory. Factory Color CODE 84 Emberglo ORIGINAL Seats... We just had a Professional Interior Shop Custom make All New LEATHER for the Original Seats. This is leather and not cheap vinyl. This California Car was not out baking in sun its whole life. Carpet is Original & still very Plush. Looks great ! Trunk LOOKS Great inside. Again, most Lincoln convertibles listed for sale the sellers hide the inside of the trunk as they are usually in bad shape with rust on the top down boot or hydraulic fluid soaked dirty carpets and paint over spray on All wire harnesses etc. This one is in great shape. Like NEW. Basically interior on car is very near to factory new condition and needs nothing. I only say “near” because it is a 40+ year old car. Exterior: The paint on the car is in great shape. The car was re-painted in its original VERY RARE (RUSSET Metallic/Emberglo)V Code . Plenty of clear coat on the car to shine. Looks Amazing. Very Rare color combo for this convertible. Car has no rust on it and underneath is very dry and solid. (See Photos)No issues at all. Under Carriage Looks factory new. Still has its Original Factory Undercoat spray to keep the car Quite and Also Areas where you can still see the "Red River" . The "Red River" was a part of the Assembly line process where the car was dipped into a river of orange red primer sealer to keep car from rusting. Very Clean. No Rust At ALL! (SEE PHOTOS) Note : For the new Owner, there is a small amount of the original paint color used on the car that will come with it in case anything needs touched up in the future on the car. Chrome on Front and Rear Bumpers is in good shape. Rated at driver+ quality. Nice shine. All Stainless trim on car is in very nice shape Engine: Original V8 462 CU This car starts up easily and runs very strong. Motor sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and floats down the road. Power steering works great. Can steer car with one finger. A pleasure to drive! Recent Maintanance Completed...Fresh Oil change yesterdayNew Mufflers installed yesterdayRear Brakes New PointsNew StarterFront end rebuild and Greased Engine bay is VERY clean and well kept/ detailed. (see photos) Note: This car has been driven ONLY about 25 miles since being removed from private collection. Drives like a dream with no known issues other than constant THUMBS up from on lookers but should REALLY be looked at by your mechanic before taking on any long trips. Check belts, hoses, etc just to be safe. Tires are Brand New. CURRENT TIRES ARE BRAND NEW COKER WIDE WHITES PERIOD ORIGINAL TIRES. CONVERTIBLE TOP: PERHAPS MOST IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO BUYING ONE OF THESE LINCOLNS....THE TOP!!!! VERY VERY Important item on one of these cars is the hydraulic top functions. This car has just been fully serviced for its Top Functions. EVERYTHING was gone through including EVERY Relay, ALL pumps, EVERY LIMIT SWITCH etc. at a cost of over $5000 which did include the power window servicing as well. Any one that knows these cars, knows that it is VITAL to buy one already serviced for its top and windows!! They are not cheap to have fully serviced but once this is complete they will work and last for another 40 years. This service was just completed last week. After that we took it to have a brand new original style pin point vinyl top installed which was an additional $2200 from upholstery shop. Total bill for Window service, top replacement and Service was $10k! Everything operates just as it did from the factory. Top can be raised and lowered with ease FROM INSIDE THE CAR OR OUTSIDE BY GAS TANK SWITCH, and it is quite the site to see!!! NOTE: IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE LINCOLNS OF THIS ERA, THEY HAD A KEYED SWITCH BY GAS TANK TO OPEN TRUNK. This works too. SUMMARY…All the EXPENSIVE & hard work/RESTORATION is done on this car(at the tune of over $30k). No disappointments here. Email me today to get this one before its too late!!! Buy today and be cruising tomorrow! I have tried to be very detailed and describe all I know about car. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS CAR IS OVER 40 YEARS OLD AND ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN RESTORED, IT IS 40+ years OLD WILL ALWAYS NEED SOMETHING FROM TIME TO TIME BECAUSE IT IS NOT NEW. Email questions. Thanks! BUY with CONFIDENCE!!! I do my best to accurately describe the car and assist buyers through every step of the purchase! Thanks again and GOOD LUCK Please Keep in mind… This car is sold as is with no warranty expressed, written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle (personally or through the pictures provided and questions asked), and to have satisfied him or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. This beautiful example of one of the titans of the late luxury car era is draped in gorgeous Lincoln cream with the matching interior, the sought-after 460 cubic inch V-8 motor, glacially cold air conditioning, power everything and what was probably the largest moonroof ever offered on an American automobile. The wheels – both stylish and functional – complete a package that is transformational to behold. In these dark days when every automobile on the road seems inspired by a steam iron, this gleaming and glorious relic of our previous century’s lost style stands as epiphany as to what is still attainable to those who think for themselves and seek something better and truer and more unique. Personally, I do not drive a late model car before April 1st. As soon as winter fades away into the oblivion where it belongs, and the snow and salt and cold temperatures become only a vaguely unpleasant memory no more troubling than a bad meal, the classics come out and serve as my proper mode of transportation all summer long, because their style and grace and the pure joy of experiencing how great American cars once were is one of my passions. And this incredible Mark V communicates this inspiration perfectly. I have owned several Marks over the past decade and this one is smoothest and most mannerly of them all. It has been very well-maintained and the result is a ride second to none. The power options work splendidly, the big 460 cu.in. V8 is willing and responsive, and the suspension feels showroom ready. The low miles have preserved what Lincoln engineers intended to be the height of luxury motoring even to this day, 37 years after this gem first left the showroom floor. What I particularly enjoy about these late ‘70’s Lincolns – and this one specifically – is that they provide the classic car experience while at the same time feeling very modern and manageable and easy to own. Once ensconced in the sumptuous cabin, with that big powerplant purring quietly under the hood, you will be amazed at just how comfortable and convenient driving this Lincoln can be. With the power options, the climate control and the wonderful sound system, this Mark compares nicely to a modern car, while at the same time providing an infinitely smoother ride, a beautiful body design and that intangible pleasure that comes with driving something truly distinctive. I would love to see this Lincoln go to a new home, so please contact me with any questions you may have and I will look forward to speaking with you. I enjoy discussing classic cars nearly as much as I enjoy owning and driving them, so I’d love to hear from anyone who shares my appreciation for these very special elements of our country’s wonderful history. Best of luck to you. Call Don or Dustin at 315-264-9369 or 315-271-7828. AS IS - NO WARRANTYThis vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. For sale is my 1978 Lincoln Continental. It currently has 82,000 miles. I am the second owner. Recent plugs, wires, oil change, and tires, all at the end of last summer. Also replaced last year was the fuel pump and the entire distributor. I can give you my mechanic's information and he can verify. Car was garaged all winter. Car runs very well. I drive it to work sometimes, which is a 70 mile round trip commute. Last time I drive it to work was on Monday. Car will need a muffler, and there is also minor rust on the rear quarter panel. It's not rusted through. I would describe it as surface rust. The top is a little dry, so to make it 100%, the top can be replaced. I am going to graduate school in the fall and I need to raise the cash. I do not really want to sell, but I have to. Warranty not expressed or implied. Car is sold as is.
