Up for sale is my 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. It has its original 273 engine with Offenhauser 4 bbl intake manifold and edelbrock 600 cfm carb. The interior has been redone with new door panels, headliner and carpet kit from Legendary interiors. It has been my daily driver for the past year now. It can use some bodywork around the windows and passenger side quarter panel (has some rust, see pics) and a new paint job at some point. Gas gauge doesn't work, all others do. AM radio works. The stripe is original to the car, it was a cheap model Barracuda (no dash pad, manual steering) with a 273 and a 4 speed from the factory! It's a fun car to drive and is something that can be restored while still being a driver. California registration was just renewed on it and I have a clean title in my name.

Money problems are forcing the sale of this car. Asking $36,000.00 OBO. This was an original 383 car but now sports an early issue 440, car has A/C, power steering, and automatic transmission, I still have the numbers matching 383 in pieces, also have the build sheet fender tag and owners manual. This is a nice car that needs a little more to be a great car, this car is rust free and is not a "Bondo Bucket" no hidden nightmares here. panel fit on this car is great, still needs exhaust but i have new tips for the rear, I have most of the A/C components and have most disc brake parts to retrofit the car these will come with the sale of the car also have all the original 383 parts are included, seat covers are dry and tiered but still usable for awhile, I would recommend new brake pads and cylinders as this has yet to be addressed, finish as or build your super car with this car, the hard work and big dollars have already been handled, call Mike at 775 -764-1507 for more details

I have relisted the car because I received an offer and the individual couldn't come up with the cash. I took it out for a drive around town last night. I stopped at a local restaurant and had about 20 people come up and drool over the car. I live in a resort/retirement type part of the country and they all had stories about someone that had a car just like it back in the day. It may not be a "muscle" car but it sure turns heads. Everyone loves the color because you just don't see many that have the original color. It was big back in the late 60's and it looks awesome in person. I have a number of extra parts (chrome parts, turn indicators, Barracuda chrome script, knobs for radio, A/C controls, armrests, fasteners etc.) The only item I don't have is the chrome running along the passenger side lower rocker panel. I've seen it on eBay from time to time for about $75.00. The tires are new, new battery, alternator and exhaust (which sounds great!). All the glass is original and has no chips, cracks or scratches. There is no rust anywhere! The carpet is really nice and the seats look like they just came off the showroom floor. Seatbelts all work and buckles are very nice. Radio works but it's only AM. There have been no modifications to the sound system. I have owned it for six years but I just haven't had the time to do any tinkering with it. When I went to start it last night it started right up! Not only is it a real looker it runs great! It stays in my garage and only comes out once or twice a month, when there is no rain in the forecast. The interior is outstanding! The only significant modification to the vehicle is that somebody added power windows (not sure why) at some point. It's a numbers matching car! This has been my dream car and the the color since I was about 12 years old. Unfortunately due to health and financial reasons I must sell it quickly. I had two strokes about 2 months ago and need to pay some medical bills. Everything is straight and works with the exception of the factory air (which just needs to be recharged). I tend to like the fresh air especially on this car because it looks really cool with the windows down. Send me a note and if you have any questions. I do reserve the right to cancel the auction because I have the car on display locally. The car is located in the Southwestern North Carolina, North Georgia area. (I really don't want to sell) but am forced into it! There aren't many of these around and certainly not in as good a shape as this one. I've seen a few around that have had new motors dropped in or completely redone interiors, hood scoops added, and other things modified. If you like an "original" and don't want someone's resto project this is the one. I'm not a car dealer and everything is exactly as I've stated it.

photos/videoshttps://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2wQvjen-dkBblVmS0ctRWRlWDg&usp=sharing Originally a 318 car. 1974 Barracuda Gran Coupe, Plum exterior with Black interior, built 383, purple cam, MSD box, distributor, cap and wires. Demon 4 barrel carburetor, Headers with 3" dual exhaust that is lumpy and aggressive sounding. fresh built, 727 TF with 1800 stall, shift kit and new internals. shift tight no sloppiness as seen in my test drive videos. Barracuda is a daily driver the way it sits. no overheating issues, brakes stop car safe at high speeds, tires are new. Fuel tank has been change to a fuel cell and relocated into trunk, along with battery. Interior is mostly original and in good shape but not flawless, Gauges have been changed which gives a pro street look. Lighting works, blinkers , wipers, all gauges are in working order except speedo as of now , looking into recalibrating speedo. Carpet is in need of replacing in the future, not because of condition but was cut short near center console. Heater is not hooked up, heater control unit was not installed into the new carbon fiber dash. It will come with car for future installation. Paint and body are both in great shape, body is straight and rust free, Paint is Base coat, clear coat. Undercarriage is dry and solid as seen in photos/videos along with trunk area.. Glass is all intact and looks to be original, it is not flawless, has a few scratches and a couple of small chips in windshield passenger side, not bad for being original all 4 windows roll up and down. I have taken lots of additional pictures and videos. Please call with further questions. Up for sale is my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda notchback with 318 V8 engine. I bought it from the original owner about 4 years ago and have not had time to restore it. This car was parked in storage in the early 1980's and has been sitting for about 30 years so will need everything gone through. I have not tried to start the 318 that's in it, but it is complete and is just missing a battery. There is no rust in the floors, quarters, doors etc. although there are several areas that need body work done along the sides. The car has not been on file at the DMV for many years and will need to get a VIN verification in order to register it. I have old registration paperwork along with the original black and yellow license plates that will go with the car. Note: If you have a 0 rating, negative rating, or are an international buyer, please contact me before bidding.Up for auction is a 1974 Plymouth Barracuda with its original motor and transmission. It came from the factory with a 318 two-barrel engine, standard duty torqueflight automatic transmission, and the 8 ¾ sure-grip rear end option. It was B5 blue with a white vinyl top, and blue interior. It is a column shift with bucket seats and music master AM radio. I have the fender tag, both build sheets in good shape, the owner’s manual, and I had the car professionally decoded as well. The car runs and drives and is currently registered, and the transmission was recently rebuilt. The previous owner gave the car its current amateur satin blue paint job, and added white stripes. The top was removed at some point and the roof was painted white. The mounts for the chrome trim are still there and I have the trim pieces. Aside from the paint job and keystone aftermarket chrome rims, the car for the most part is very original. I believe the carburetor may even be the original Carter. It has typical surface rust underneath for an unrestored muscle car from the northeast, but not a rot box by any means. All the body panels are original except the front fenders, however I have them and they are included. The only thing that appears to be changed inside is the dash cluster. The build sheet says it should be a rally however it has the standard dash currently in it. The rest of the interior needs the usual restoration… tears in driver’s seat, faded panels, cracks in dash. The engine sounds good; exhaust includes the original y pipe and is patched up. The brakes work though the light comes on sometimes; I think the rears need to be bled. The previous owner did some body work as well. The frame has been patched on the front driver’s side but it’s not a factory correct repair. If doing a proper restoration it would need to be redone. There are a few rust spots on other areas of the unibody, and the rear half is pretty solid. The floor pans have a few small holes but are intact overall, and the doors open a close nice and straight. There is some rust starting in the hood hinge areas in the engine bay, but the firewall is solid. New trunk extensions were put in at some point but not finished totally on the inside. Rear bumper was sprayed blue and is dinged, but it doesn’t affect the tail panel. I have a replacement plastic corner spacer for in front of the bumper a well. The front is still chrome however and I the 74’ bumperettes are in place. Front end has its squeaks and rattles but the car is still a blast to drive and gets a ton of attention. The front tires are new, however the 10” wide rears are older and certainly showing their age. This car is a great running, driving project that is numbers matching. It is in need of restoration and will be a beautiful barracuda when finished. As I mentioned I have both build sheets plus the current registration, however CT does not issue title on antiques so it will come with registration and official bill of sale to transfer ownership. I can assist in getting you a shipping quote, just email your zip code an I will respond. The reserve is confidential, but please don’t hesitate to contact me with any other questions. Thanks.

A two year “rotisserie” restoration was recently completed. There are about 200 test miles on the car since completion. As you can see in the pics the car underwent a complete “rotisserie” restoration. Options added not on the fender tag are; rallye instruments, 383 stripe, right hand sport mirror and replacement of the original 3-speed transmission with a 4-speed. I have included a list of parts and material that add up to over $31,000 used during the extensive restoration. If you are looking for a unique Cuda Convertible that you can get in and enjoy this summer this is a great car for you. It is highly unlikely you will see another one with these options. This car has been off the road and market for many years, so you will be the first to show it this summer. I have sold several cars on eBay over the past 16 years and have always received positive feedback (check my seller feedback). I am not a dealer, just a hobbyist and it is important to me that the buyer is satisfied with the car. You can be assured I have described the car to the best of my knowledge and will answer your questions honestly. It would be near impossible to find an original 383 Cuda convertible and restore it to this level for my price on this car. I have a clear AZ title in my name. Keep in mind there are various levels of “restored cars” for sale. This one was taken down to the bare metal unibody and completely rotisserie restored.
