The new style XJ-S was the predecessor of the XK-E and was built starting in 1975 as a V12 coupe. In 1981 a XJ-S became the XJ-S HE and received the new High-Efficiency engine. In 1983 a new cabriolet version, the XJ-SC produced, with the rear seats left out, making it a 2-seat car. The XJ-SC was not a full convertible but had a removable targa top structure and fixed cant rails above the doors. The rear quarter windows remained as well with the passenger section covered by a separate convertible top. This particular motorcar has been driven less than 2,700 miles per year for a total of 77,888. It comes with all books, tools and has a clean Carfax. It is finished in flawless English white with impeccable deep Oxford blue leather and Oxford blue convertible and Targa top. It is fitted with the awesome and everlasting Jaguar 5.3L V12 FI SOHC engine, automatic transmission, power steering, factory air conditioning, fully automatic and every refinement offered by Jaguar at the time. With a 21 year production run, Jaguar’s XJS model became the definitive British luxury grand tourer. With the trademark long bonnet, low roof line, and the buttress guarding the rear window. Its drive line remained true to the grand tourer design; front engine sending power to the rear tires. A complete redesign was completed in 1990, most every aspect were changed or re-engineered. The original dark black paint shows very well and accentuates the graceful body lines this Jaguar convertible was designed with. Overall the paint is good condition with only minor imperfections on the driver’s door and front bumper. Every badge and trim piece is in its’ place and are in good condition only showing minor ageing. Both front and rear bumpers are in great condition, no signs of damage; the rubber molding is also in good condition. All four original wheels are in great shape with very little evidence of road wear; the newer BF Goodrich all-season tires have plenty of tread wear left. The black convertible top has been replaced by the previous owner, the material is in fantastic shape with no signs of wear at all. This Jaguar is pure elegance refined! Gorgeous classic Jaguar XJS coupe 1993. Runs and drives great. Interior clean with leather and heated power seats, power windows. All original. Color is silver/blue. AC blows on high only but blows cold and heat also. I bought the car in New York and did a autocheck {like carfax} and it came back clean and clear, no accidents. Still have copy of results. This car has mainly been a weekend cruiser to car clubs events etc. Scored a 9795 out of 1000 at Jaguar Club of North america concourse judging in 1993.

Hello, You are viewing my 1993 Jaguar XJS Convertible with an ultra rare 5 Speed Manual Transmission ( only 30 coupes and 70 roadsters were imported with a factory installed 5-speed manual transmission with a 4.0 liter engine). This car has been garaged most of its life and it shows! A true collectors investment opportunity, that is in original condition that is well maintained and looks great. The Black paint in very good condition with a nice shine. It does have some chips/scratches and small dings. Very presentable for being that it is a 22 years old. No rust that I can find!! The tan leather interior is in good, presentable condition. No rips or tears (slight wear on drivers bolster). The dash (no cracks), wood (some cracking), door panels (very nice), headliner and carpet are also very nice (could use a cleaning). Mechanically the car is EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Runs (no smoke, starts fast and runs cool), drives and shifts (no slipping or grinding) perfect with no warning lights on. Power windows and power top work perfect (just replaced rear window regulator). Everything works as it should. The heat blows hot and the air conditioner blows cool (has a freon leak, compressor works)). Tires and wire wheels are excellent. Wind screen has a one long crack down the middle of it. The soft top and boot cover are in very good condition. Also included are 2 sets of keys, 1 remote, tools, jack, spare and books. The car is sold in “As Is Condition”.
