Head turner! Sounds Incredible; low, gurgling roar. I get compliments and offers to buy from people on a daily basis. It is the only one of its kind: It has the M-Body with the much more reliable 2.8L M52tu aluminum engine! For a z3 afficionado this is the holy grail. 3.2L roadsters are known to tear their own subframe apart, a 10,000 dollar repair so why spend 35K for an "M roadster" When no one can tell the difference and this is going to keep running strong for a very long time. This thing always fires right up first try after coming out of winter storage. I love it and don't really want to part with it, but I am raising money to start a small business and value my future more than even this extremely charming car. The Interior is near mint; no tears in the leather. I have about 2K in the audio. Top of the line alpine components, kicker subwoofer, infinity amplification, all while maintaining the original head unit for the classic look. Includes a monster tape cassette adapter which sounds very good. Includes 1-year-old 18" spoked rims that look so good staggered and cambered in the back; capable of cornering very fast. Dropped about 3" off the ground so be careful driving over speed bumps! Upgraded water pump, traction control is disabled and as a result cruise control is disabled. Track car for the streets with all the comforts: Heated seats, very hot heat and cold A/C, etc. Keyless entry and alarm with flashing LED strips in front window to warn the burgles. Recently replaced the valve cover gasket set proactively as well as all pulleys switched to new aluminum ones and new belts and tensioners. Also just put in a new fuel filter and added an electric trunk popper. I get about 20-25 mpg average depending on whether I'm driving with the top up or down and if I'm keeping it under 100 or not. This car can go 165 MPH and 0-60 in about 5sec. I have driven up to 145 MPH with no issue. Very very solid car. Rollover bars and A-Pillars will support the weight of the car and save your life in a rollover, unlike a miata, or s2000. You never know when a rig driver will fall asleep or just not be aware of you and push you off the road. Top in pretty good condition. No leaks except at the window seals occasionally but the fabric is still watertight. The rear window has a 1" crack in it and began to separate from the fabric around one edge so I sealed it up with silicone and stitched it together with wire. it will not be coming back apart any time soon. It looks pretty cool too. If it wasn't so hard to get in there I would have stitched all the way around. Will add more as I think of it. Check out the profile of this bad boy! Quad Exhaust tips. I have owned it for about 2 and a half years never had a single mechanical issue whatsoever. Purchased from a master vintner who drove it daily for years.

Thank You for taking the time to view this beautiful, low mileage, Boston Green Metallic BMW Z3. I hesitate to offer her for sale but, the addition of a new vehicle will require me to leave one of the cars outside and I simply do not have it in me. This car is located in Texas; and, there are no rust issues whatsoever. Nor, is there any undercarriage corrosion related to salt on the highways because, that is not a practice down here. At approximately 63,000 original miles, this car is extremely reliable, tracks like it is on rails and is extremely comfortable, even in the extreme Texas heat. If you look at the side views, you will notice that there is not one door ding on the quarter panels or doors. Nor, are the door handle or antenna gaskets deteriorating, which is so common in these cars.The only issue that I have had to address during ownership was to replace the rear antenna, as it had faded out and detracted from the look of the car. All of her windshield, door and top gaskets are in superior condition and do not leak, unless you aim the nozzle of a high pressure car wash wand at the top of the side windows (which I have done by accident). Even then, the only intrusion of water was in the form of a drip on my left knee.In the interior photos of the driver's seat, you will notice some minor fading, approximately 6 inches long, on the left side seat bolster. There are no tears, separation of stitching or stains in this car and, the carpets are spotless. I added Weather-Tech floor mats but, I saved the Z3, factory originals which will be in the trunk when you receive the car.The trunk is flawless and includes the original 6 Disc CD Changer and the original factory radio, a BMW car cover, the tan parade boot, factory tool kit and the BMW rear window cover, which will prevent scratching of the clear plastic, when and if you put the top down. As you can see, the rear window is as clear as glass and I attribute that to the religious use of the factory window cover. The top is power assisted and requires you to place your foot on the brake as you unlatch and lift the top slightly while pushing the control on the console.Creature comforts include electric door locks, air conditioning, heated and power operated seats, remote control mirrors and cruise control. The on board clock/computer will allow you to monitor your fuel consumption, mpg and miles to empty status, This car averages 23-24 mpg in suburban areas. The tires are less than a year old and retain approximately 99% of their original tread.There are some tiny touch up spots in the typical areas, caused by the notorious and caustic Texas "love bugs" but they were never allowed to sit and dry on the finish. If you decide that this is your car, I will include a perfectly matched bottle of 2 stage touch up paint. I should also mention that I have all of the brochures and owner's manuals which came with the car, as well as an aftermarket repair manual which will be included with the sale.This car is also a registered member of the BMW Car Club of America. If you would like, I will include all of this year's copies of the Club publication "Roundel" and any future issues which come until it is time to renew membership.I should mention that there is no existing warranty included with this sale and that shipping is entirely the responsibility of the new owner. I will be more than happy to store the car at my expense, for a reasonable amount of time ( 2 weeks) , while shipping or pick up is arranged. I will not leave it outside under any circumstances. I also have a few extra BMW center caps for the wheels and those too, will be in the trunk when the car arrives.I will continue the XM radio subscription until the end of the month in which the car is sold but, it will be up to you to renew that or the I-Heart access at that time. I think it's worth it.You will receive a signed and clear Texas Title with this sale but the new owner will be responsible for all taxes, fees, insurance and registration related to the purchase. There are no liens or encumbrances on this car so you should have no problem changing the title.This vehicle is driven daily so, the mileage will increase slightly over the duration of this listing. I bought this car last year from a neighbor who is a doctor. He drove this car as his daily driver since 1999 in the North Georgia Mountains. It currently has 189K miles and was garaged and professionally maintained. It is a factory Atlanta blue car with tan leather interior and is the same color combination as the car featured in James Bond "Goldeneye". I used the 007 graphics to accent the car. The car has Hamann roll loops and some other Hamann parts and graphics. The hood scoop was professionally hand fabricated from aluminum. The side pipes are from a 71 Corvette. I was looking for something similar to the Shelby Cobra look. The good: Never Wrecked No Rust (Southern Car) Engine is stock and original. No fluid leaks. Garage Kept. The bad: Wear on driver seat bolster. Wear on driver floor mat Hood has stone chips from normal driving. Clear coat on hood is fading. SRS light is on (fault in system) Left side driving light is cracked Right side marker light is missing The only reason that I am selling this car is that my daughter is going to college this fall and I need to shed some toys to prepare.
