The car is very clean inside and out, it hasn't seen road salt, everything works, it has nice 18" custom wheels as well as the originals, and the mileage is very low at 73k original. These little cars are very durable, nice to drive and they get outstanding fuel economy. This one has the mats, the manuals, 2 sets of keys, the trunk liner, etc, all here. exterior The paint and body on this little car are in nice shape. It has nice gloss, no rust, hail, or body damage at all. It has a clean history report, no accidents. The car came from California, so no salt. The wheels are in pretty good shape and tires have fair tread. The fronts were rotated to the back and just a hair thin, but fine to drive on for a while yet. The windshield has 1 chip, no cracks. Our cost is $125 to replace if you want it done. There's a couple small nicks on the drivers side and some light superficial scratches about the body and rear bumper, but all pretty small. The photos document it well, definitely a good looking little vehicle that matches the low mileage well. interior The interior is clean as well. There's no ripped panels, upholstery all looks pretty nice, all accessories work. Apart from some light normal use wear, it's all just very nice. As mentioned, we have the mats, manuals, and 2 clickers/keys. mechanical This little car runs perfect and drives as it should. These cars have timing chains, so no belt to worry about changing. The water pumps do leak from time to time, but this one is dry underneath. It has new front brakes, drive belt, and the rest of it all looks very good. We've been through it and the car needs nothing. It was driven in 1200 miles to our location without a hiccup. comments This is a neat little vehicle and a great buy. Welcome to my listing and thank you for taking the time to view this wonderful car. For your consideration is a 2006 Scion xB 5 door wagon, built by the dependable Toyota Motor Company. I have owned this car since February 2007, and have had a lot of fun in it. As much as I love this vehicle, I'm only selling it to help fund my wife's college education; she is studying Nuclear Engineering (yikes!). I'm sorry to see it go, but I know I will find a great home for it. When it comes to superior fuel-efficiency, plenty of versatility, and great looks, this Scion xB cannot be beat. First, it gets up to 35 miles per gallon. When on a long trip on the interstate, I have traveled up to 350 miles on a tank of gas (gas light comes on after about 10 gallons expire). You can fill up the tank for around $20 nowadays! Next, this is a spacious and useful vehicle. It is very comfortable with plenty of leg and head room (I'm 6'2"). I'm an avid mountain biker and my Specialized Stumpjumper easily fits in the back with the seats folded down. Also, the high ceiling makes it great for moving a lot of boxes, furniture, etc. in a single trip. If you appreciate good driving, you'll enjoy its manual transmission and great visibility with large windows running the entire perimeter. This xB is a LOT of fun to cruise around in! Also, the car comes with a beautiful shadow mica color (original paint with great sparkle in the sun). I've added after-market 18" Enkei Performance Series wheels with Gorilla lug nuts for added security and low-pro 215/35ZR18 tires that have 5/32" tread remaining. As a result, the gray on gray is a slick look for this cube-y ride. The vehicle has just over 145K (mostly highway miles) on its 1.5L 4 cylinder DOHC 16 valve VVTI engine, which is timing chain equipped meaning it will go forever. Toyota engines are very durable and reliable; well-known to last over 250K miles and even exceed 300K! I am the second owner (purchased at only 1,500 miles, so basically brand new) and I have had regular oil changes, tune ups, and other manufacturer recommended maintenance. The brakes have less than 6K miles on them. The easiest choice in purchasing a used vehicle is choosing one with a complete and detailed history like this vehicle. I have nearly all of the service records dating back to January 2009 when the vehicle was at 20K miles. The mechanical condition is super solid; everything works as it should. It drives very well with nice balance and predictable handling. The exterior has some imperfections, such as paint chips, scratches, dings, dents (see pictures) and shows the usual wear and tear you can expect from a car of this age and mileage. There are a few chips/cracks in the windshield from tiny rocks bouncing up from the highway. The interior is clean and has no rips or tears. It was never smoked in and still smells new.
