I have a beautiful interior and it's all black except for some wood grain on the dashboard. The outside is also black with a black landau quarter top. I have an electric Moon roof so you can see the stars at night when your on a date with your best girl. I have a nice new Sony am-fm CD player with an amplifier in the trunk that can play real loud music when my owner is in the mood but he's an old guy that only plays soft or country music. Back in 1973 I was the car of the year and was called the "gentleman's muscle car". There has been 6 generations of the Monte Carlo and I was the first year of the 2nd generation and set the stage for the future muscle cars. 1973 Monte Carlo with beautiful Landeau top. Car is rare color, Emerald Bronze and has never seen a winter and does not even see rain! A classic perfect for parades and showing off. Recently and authentically appraised. If you want to show off the engine that will have to be cleaned. The engine however is nearly all original. I did have to replace the alternator two years ago. Cruise control device under the hood needs to be replaced and the air conditioning compressor needs replacing, but those are the only "mechanical" items that need attention. Officially appraised at $13,500 last year. I do need to sell what has been a lot of fun to drive and show off. Appraiser stated: "Very nice classic that has been lovingly maintained." Original interior with bench cloth seat also in excellent condition. Runs very well. Turbohydromatic 350 Automatic Transmission. Tilt steering wheel, power steering. I've put new twin exhaust on it to give it a nice low "growl." I had to have the Landau replaced last year and the guy did a beautiful job. Has aftermarket Rally wheels purchased around 1980. (These have some tiny rust spots on 3 of the wheels, but you have to be close to see them.) You rarely see a 1973 Monte Carlo, especially in this condition. I just don't get to drive it very often anymore. (I put only about 30 miles on it this whole year) but the car is a pleasure to cruise in. Gets lots of heads turning and every time I drive it I get "shout outs" from people and lots of thumbs up. Emerald bronze with the black Landau is really sharp, too.
