This is a very rare 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk in very good condition. 289 V-8 2 barrel carb with dual exhaust. Power Steering, 3 speed Hurst White Cue Ball Shifter on the floor with Borg Warner Overdrive. Full Dash with Toggle Switches. New Tune-Up Components, Generator, water pump, fuel system with electric fuel pump, new dual exhaust system, new shocks, new brake lines and shoes, and a re-built brake master cylinder, new 14" whitewall radials. The paint is only a few years old, and is done in two stage Urethane paint in the original Champagne Gold color of the car. All chrome (there is a lot of chrome on this car) and glass is in excellent condition. All windows go up and down. Studebaker Original Mirrors on both doors. No rust. The car even has the Factory Optional front Bumper Guards. This car starts right up, and runs and drives great. It cruises at highway speeds with no problem. It is a real Head Turner no matter where you take it. Great distinctive styling on this car. The Interior is in very good condition, including door panels, and roof headliner, no rips or tears, new brown carpeting nicely done. Still has the original Studebaker AM radio that works. The front bucket seats could use re-covering, and the gas gauge and tachometer could use some attention. This 1963 Gran Turismo Hawk is a very strong, totally complete car, right down to the original hubcaps (you get 5 because there is actually an extra matching original hubcap on the full spare in the trunk). 1963 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk Owner's Manual is included. I am selling the Hawk because we are in the process of building a new house, and the Gran Turismo must be sold to help pay some bills for our new house. ***I'm a very honest, no nonsense seller so I will start with the bad*** There are minor chips and slight scratches in paint on some panels as normal wear and tear on a used vehicle. None that the camera could even catch. There is some fading on the roof portion of the liftgate. Only visible from birds eye view Interior has three orange spots in the cargo area carpeting roughly the size of a quarterThe first inch of the headliner nearest the windshield could use some glue. Door lock actuator in the driver door needs replacing in order to unlock via keyless entry ($100 part) 1 (of 2) charging ports on the dash doesn't work. I acquired the car from the original owner's agent in Hallandale Beach, FL, last August after a three year search, and I have enjoyed it for less than 6,000 miles since. Unfortunately, a job change forces this sale.
