1965 Buick Wildcat, mildly built Chevy 454, turbo 400 transmission. Ford 9" trac lock rear with wildwood disc brakes, adjustable upper and lower tubular control arms. Front Disc brakes from a Buick Riviera. I've invested a lot of time and money into this car but its time for it to go. It does have vintage air A/C but the high fan switch has stopped working. The car looks and sounds great, drives nice and smooth but does leak a little oil and transmission fluid. I've replaced the transmission pan gasket 3 times so its gotta be the pan. Every accessory on the engine is new, it has a comp cams thumper cam, new lifters, pushrods and rocker arms. Transmission has a 3000rpm stall torque convertor. Has decent interior, seat upholstery is starting to show some splits from daily driving the car the last two summers. Has autometer american muscle gauges, and a nice stereo thats hidden in the ash tray, subwoofer in the trunk. There is an access cover in the trunk to get to the electric fuel pump should you ever need to. The body is not perfect, it has a few bubbles and the drivers side front fender is dented, its a driver that turns heads when they hear it rumbling and realize its a big ol 4 door. Buick Skylark convertible with very low original miles! Documented 25,000 mile car. The car is a rare color combination with the white and red interior and black top. The interior and top are original to the car, the body has had one repaint back in the 70s. There are just a couple rock chips but otherwise it is in fantastic condition. There is absolutely no rust on the car, it is as clean underneath as the top. This Buick runs and drives like a new car. The car came with the following factory options, power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power seat and tilt steering column. I have the build sheet for the car that identifies all options and equipment. When we found it this summer it was in like new condition, even the paper is still white like the day it was put in the car. Engine is the Buick 350 4 barrel, I had a noted Buick Carb builder in Texas rebuild the Q jet and the engine runs out flawlessly. Smooth idle, no hesitation and power through out the rpm range. The car came with a dealer installed under dash AC system, I didn't care for it, so I removed it and the compressor system from the engine. Because I had to disassemble the front part of the engine area to remove the compressor and brackets, I decided to pull the radiator and had it flushed, and repainted, the original tags are still in place. I repainted the engine, installed new alternator brackets and alternator, and a new fuel pump. Fan shroud was cleaned and detailed. I took liberties with the addition of the radiator overflow bottle. These could be dealer installed later, according to the service bulletins, so it went in. All new radiator hoses were installed. The engine runs as smooth as new and has never overheated or given me any reason for concerns. Transmission was serviced this spring, and shifts correctly, and the rear is a 2.72 open gear. I installed all new dual exhaust, with factory OEM style mufflers. It is quiet, but allows the engine to breath and run nicely. I recently made a trip up the Mississippi into Wisconsin and Illinois and the car averaged 18 mpg on the trip, not too bad for 1960s technology. The disc brakes from the factory were getting sticky from sitting, so I opted to replace them with a new modern set. I also added a rear sway bar to let the car handle better. By installing the modern style disc brake calipers, I was able to add a new set of the Buick Rally wheels in 15x7 and new BFG TAs. I opted for the red bird center caps, instead of the traditional tri shield style. With the new disc brakes, I chose to replace the original factory master and booster with a new unit, I had the replacement built to directly copy the factory original, so it all looks period correct for the 68. You will notice there is even the factory tag hanging from the vacuum line that is coded for disc brakes. That has been on the car since new, and even though it's a paper tag, still looks near new. The interior on the car is in absolutely beautiful condition, no tears, or issues, it all looks near new and the top is in like condition. The windows go up and down well, the top mechanism works correctly, and because the door and window seals are all still soft and flexible, it seals out wind noises very well. As stated the top is in the same condition as the interior, and fits and looks great. The 8 track is a dummy and is not included with the car. Chrome and trim on the car is in fantastic condition and really looks as though it may be 7 years old instead of 47 years old. I would hope any perspective buyer for this car to come look it over in person and drive it, I do not feel you would be disappointed with the overall condition of this wonderful Buick. I can be reached at 319-361-6465 if you care to discuss the car. Thank you for looking and considering it Mark If you have additional questions, I am willing to discuss these 319-361-6465

This is a nice 67 Skylark Convertible. The car has power steering, power seat, power windows, factory cruise control that actually works, the power drum brakes were converted to the new style power disc brakes this past winter. We also rebuilt all of the steering components and replaced all the springs front and rear, and then added a heavy duty rear sway bar to the car. The rallye wheels are in nice condition with BFG TA radials size 225/70/14, the center caps are now the std trishield caps, the redbirds are on a different car The upholstery and top are original to the car and are in really good condition. The dash is not pitted and most all the chrome on the car is in good clean condition. Typical pitting on one of the rear tail light bezels. Body is in good condition, the car was painted some 12+ years ago, I buffed it out last winter and its a solid nice driver quality, and looks good. I do not have any reservations of taking this car to any local show or cruise. The car was undercoated at the dealer when new, and its still on there. It is not pretty anymore, but it kept the car from rusting out, so it did its job well. The engine is the 300 V8 2V, and runs like a dream. My mechanic dialed the engine in and replaced the original carb with an NOS Rochester. All cylinders are within just a couple pounds compression of each other, and the engine just purrs at idle. The valve covers are new, the alternator and brackets are new, and the aircleaner was a personal choice. I added a 3 core aluminum radiator to allow it to run cool in the summers, plus installed a radiator overflow bottle behind the battery and inside the fender area The car drives tight now, the engine is very smooth and its a joy to drive at highway speeds, no wander, no wondering where its going to go. It just drives well. If you have any questions feel free to ask thru ebay, or call me Thank you for looking Mark 319-361-6465
