Now that you have soaked in all the positives this car has to offer which are a lot. The 4.6L V8 feels locked down & needs to be taken down to see issue, This car did run and drive when we first got it at that time no check engine light was on or any dash warning lights when it ran. We drove the car approx 50-70 miles so know ac works and heat works and ran strong and car shifts out tight and drove well but one day engine would not start and feels locked and no we do not think its a starter & battery is weak we had to use jump box for video & such. Have no illusions please don't buy the Mustang planning on driving it back home it would be ideal to have it trailer-ed to your desired destination. Its a shame because it is a very nice vehicle and sold north of 30k new. We are not going to list every fade chip mark or scratch or flaw it is what what it is you see it as we got it! Your getting a lot of car here folks and consider yourself very lucky you have this much incite on its history. All doors and hood and trunk close nice and tight! "hood latch cable is broken and requires a bit of finesse up under car to open another one of those TLC items for new owner to do. The reason I am selling it is because its so original and I cant bring myself to mod it. I did put a hurst shifter in it for better shifting but I do have the original shifter. I also put a off road h pipe on it but I will take that off and put the original cats back on. Car has fresh oil change and can be driven any where. It does have painted pin stripes on it. As the story Goes a 16 year old girl in Havre Montana was given the car as a present . She had it for 3 years and put 15 thousand miles on the car. She pawned the car 2 times. the second time her dad didnt get it back out of pawn . The car sat from 97-2001 in a ware house. In 2001 my friend bought it. He drove it very little and sat in the garage He put 4000 miles on it. I bought in 2011 and it still sits inside. I have talked with some paint guys and they have told me it would be no problem to take the pin strips off. I have bought an 89 GT and have converted it to look like a cobra and am putting a paxton super charger I have on it. I would like to see the Cobra go to someone who will preserve it for what it is.
