For sale 1967 Ford Galaxie 500 XL Convertible 390. The car was bought June of 2014, the previous owner had the car restored in 1997. The body is stellar, as you can see by the pictures. The chrome is complete and shines bright. The interior is immaculate, except for a few tiny tares in the inner side of the rag top. The car previous owner as well as myself have kept the car under a carport or garage, only driven to local fairs and car shows. The hubcaps have been replaced for rims , however I will include them in the price with tires attached. A/C and heater works perfect, cools instantly and warms up just as quickly. Lastly has a built in AM/FM functional radio, however the original is in place for looks. The antenna would need replacing , which has been purchased and is included. ASKING 20K /OBO. I got this car to use the drivetrain in my mustang, but it is in too good of shape to strip and crush. As far as I was told it has the original drivetrain. Factory A/C with original compressor that works. This car needs to be restored. The floor pans need to be replaced, the trunk looks good. Engine runs good and drives good.I have taken it around the block a few times. New tires on front and ok tires on rear. It has been painted before. Code shows originally tan and now it is green. I stripped the carpet and headliner and put temporary seat covers on. It has a new fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, and the carb has been cleaned out, and a new battery, New master brake cylinder, and a new radiator. Am Radio works just needs a speaker. Needs a windshield, its cracked. I already have a project going and don't want to do another one. Selling as is. The doors shut nice and tight, no slamming

1968 Ford Galaxie 500 4 door sedan 302 V8 3 speed automatic transmission power steering and power brakes. Solid chassis, floors and body. Older repaint ( 2008 ) with a quarter size bubble on the right rear door lower rear edge. Both bumpers have some surface rust. Inside: the right front kick panel covered with duct taper, and some frayed areas on the rear seat cloth. New vinyl roof and door wind lace front and rear. Won " best 4 door " trophy ( all years ) in 2009 Ford Galaxie Nationals, Concord NC @ Lowes Speedway. Equipped with an original AM radio in working condition and a under dash AM/FM CD player with MP3 jack. Halogen headlight upgrade with relay. Tires are in good condition about 1000 miles ( new 2009 ). Radiator flushed, filters, belts, hoses and wipers in 2009 before driving to the Concord Nationals. New muffler in 2010. This is a nice entry level car to the old car hobby. A reliable driver that can be driven to a car show, to evening dinner or just for a cruise. I'm listing this vehicle for a friend. First of all, I LOVE this car!! The ONLY reason i am selling it is to provide my two teenage daughters, sixteen and almost seventeen, with cars of their own. I have always described this car as a 5 foot show car. I purchased the car in 2012 from the family of the original owner. I have the original build sheet, original bill of sale, and title. I have hundreds of receipts from over the car's history including in Jan 1996 when the engine was replaced with a new/reman 390 long block. According to the family, that is when the odometer was reset to zero (now shows 5k miles). The following is a brief history that was given to me and verified by documents I received. Originally purchased 8-21-1967 in Elkhart Indiana. Car was garage kept and a few years later the owner moved to Prescott Valley, Arizona (this is where engine was replaced). When the original owner passed away, it went to his brother in South Bend, Indiana, who parked the car in a garage/shed and never drove it until he passed away. I purchased the car from his daughter and son-in-law. The son-in-law did a restoration of the car with intent of showing it but had to sell due to job loss. This is one solid car with no rust (see pics) and a ton of new parts and updates too numerous to mention in full. Here are a few: Transmission rebuilt (Ammaco Nov. 2014 still under warranty), exhaust, tires, rims, , brake power booster, carburetor, brakes, convertible hydraulics, battery, shocks, oil pan, trunk seal, window felt, interior and many many more. The top is average condition. I never cared as I never drove it with the top up. The bad... The dash was redone by the previous owner and has a bubble/ small crack near the metal vent he installed on dash (see pics). My oldest daughter opened the driver's door into my chain link fence skinning the door edge (see pic). I am listing this car several places, so the first buyer to hit the price wins. This car was garaged for many almost 20 years - 87,000 original miles. Color is a real light green. It has the original smooth running big block V8 390 with a three speed automatic transmission. Factory air conditioning car. The compressor turns freely and I have purchased a new belt, and R-134 conversion kit - hope to have the air conditioning system up and running by this weekend. Original interior is in excellent shape. With the exception of the American Racing wheels this car is completely stock and looks like it did when it rolled out of the factory. Still has the original paint. Just installed new dual exhaust, front disc / rear drum brake, and gas tank. If you don't like the wheels I have a set of steel wheels and factory hubcaps (see pictures of the hubcaps in the trunk) that I can install and take $500 off the price of the car. New parts include: Tires, Wheels, Brake Booster, Brakes (Front Disc / Rear Drum), Plug Wires, Dual Exhaust, Fuel Tank, and Shocks. \ Motor runs quiet and smooth, brakes work great, transmission shifts nice. Good runner!! Great driver!! I would drive it anywhere. May be interested in a trade for 1972 and older cars/trucks. I have sold several cars on eBay - most of them to overseas buyers.
