You are looking at my classic 1970 Ford F100 Long Bed Pickup Truck. I am only the second owner and have put an entirely new engine ($4,500.00) in her just 4 years ago. Original odometer reads 115,665. It had 79,000 on it when I replaced the engine. So new engine has 36,665 on it! NO POWER STEERING OR BRAKES. THIS BABY IS ALL ORIGINAL. TRANSMISSION COOLER ADDED FOR TOWING, AND 3K HITCH PUT ON FOR TOWING TRAILERS/CAMPERS ETC. BRAND NEW LARGE RADIATOR TO KEEP COOL! RECENT $400 TUNE UP, ALL SYSTEMS GO! RADIO DOES NOT WORK, BUT HIGH END SPEAKERS AND AMP HAVE BEEN INSTALLED TO USE WITH AN 1/8" CABLE FOR MP3/PHONE ADAPTATION. She's been a daily driver and I have replaced nearly everything under the hood since I got her. She runs good and strong and will make a beautiful addition to any colllector who wants to re-finish the exterior or drive her as is! The only exceptions to her cosmetic condition, would be the patina (which I left and liked her that way), and the gas guage and temperature guages do not function. Easy fixes for someone that knows how! And the seat has a tear in it, but I keep this cover on it at all times! FUN NOTE: She's kind of famous! Been in multiple ads for brands like Hollister and music videos for country and rock groups. Photos of her have been widely spread on the internet and she has a "presence"! This truck has been the recipient of a recent comprehensive mechanical freshening and upgrading. Every mechanical system has been gone through, and either rebuilt or replaced in an effort to make the truck 100% reliable and operational. A new Optima battery (red top) has been installed, and a new correct reproduction battery hold down added. This F-100 wears it’s original intake manifold, original carburetor, original choke assembly, original coil, original points distributor, original exhaust manifolds, original 2-1 exhaust mid section, and single muffler exhaust system. Everything is functional and working correctly. The body fit is excellent, and the doors open and close beautifully, as do the hood, and tailgate. It has all the original glass with the exception of the windshield which has recently been replaced along with the seal. The side windows roll up and down easily and smoothly, and the door locks works smoothly with a solid feel. This truck starts easily cold or hot, idles smoothly and accelerates briskly. The carburetor and factory choke are adjusted correctly and they work perfectly, even in cold temperatures. The transmission is original, and shifts smoothly and quietly. The entire truck drives amazingly well with good straight line tracking, strong braking, strong driveline, and solid construction. It handles and rides very well being just 4500 GVW, and wearing radial tires. The Twin I-Beam front suspension really works well, and as Ford advertised “Works like a Truck, but rides like a Car”. The 3.25 ratio rear axle allows easy 70-80 mph freeway speeds. Throughout the entire process, every effort was made to preserve and maintain the originality of this amazing truck using correct original replacement parts or NOS parts. The upgrades to the cooling system and brakes were essential for safer driving. Sale includes most all the original parts that were removed. Needless to say this F-100 gets attention and compliments regularly, but nobody can believe it’s still a mostly original un-restored truck. As they say “it’s only original once”. Some may be tempted to do a full restoration, as it would be relatively easy, but the preservation route was the direction chosen. With proper care this truck can “Survive” another 46 years. This is Original with the exception of the rims and back bumper being painted black according to the 2nd Owner. It even has the Original Spare Tire and Jack. The Dash is mint and the Glass is All Original. The radiator was replaced and the Original was kept and will be included. The engine is a 302 with a manual Tranny (3 on the Tree). The paint is Prairie Yellow. The Ford is in very nice condition, it does have typical rust in the bottom of the fenders very minute. The bed of the truck has been coated to prevent rust.Interior is in great condition and the seat has a cover (some at has the typical rip on drivers side). 1970 Ford F100 Custom 302 three speed on the column. Djm dream beam lower kit 4" rear 3" front. New dual exhaust with thrush mufflers. Sounds very good. Extremely nice Patina. Original seat. no cracks in the dash. Original radio works. 20" American Racing wheels. Drives and rides good. No leaks and doesn't smoke. 95% rust free with solid front cab mounts and minimal spots on rear cab corners. The bed is in above average condition as seen in pics. Some spots on front outside of the bed where it faces the rear of the cab and some on the inside cab jam. I believe this truck has spent most all of it's life in Ga so it's a solid truck from front to back. The driver side floor pan has a hole about the size of a quarter but both sides are very solid. I can send additional pics of anything. All lights except reverse lights work. The heater is blowing cold air. I am selling some more of my truck collection to fund expansion of my real business. This is my best 1972 4X4. I recently pulled this truck out of storage where it has been for many years. I never really looked at this truck before now, as it was purchased it as a non running vehicle, solely because it came from out west where trucks are naturally well preserved. I quickly realized that it was not getting fuel. I removed all old fuel out of the tank and fuel line, and installed new fuel pump. I took the breather off expecting to see a regular 2 BBL but instead I found a Holley 4BBL mounted on a 4BBL intake. The truck is coded as a 360 ci which normally doesn't have a 4BBL. The code on the intake is C9 meaning 1969 model. I installed a new 750 CFM Edelbrock carb. and new battery. It fired up easily but ran rough. I removed the spark plugs which were carbon fouled not oil fouled, I did a compression check and the static compression averaged 190 psi. Wow! Now I have a 1969 high compression 4BBL motor with new plugs, fuel pump, carb, coupled with 4spd transmission and 350 gears. Words really can't describe how smooth, quiet, and powerful this motor is. They really new how to build them 40 years ago! No vibrations, or balancing problems at all. I am not sure if this is a 360 but by code I suspect it is a 390 or 428, I have not measured the stroke. 1972 motors were low compression. This is a one owner truck for all intent and purposes. The person I bought it from, from my knowledge never did anything with it, and he told me it was a one owner truck. I have original bill of sale, window sticker, warranty card, owner's manual, and many service receipts from original purchase. The truck was sold in Carson City Nevada, at Pozzi Motor Company Ford dealership. The owner must have been with the Carson City Fire Department or Forestry Division as some of the service receipts were charged to the Fire Dept. What is weird is with all the receipts none are showing the motor being replaced. If this is the original motor it was a special ordered motor under Gov't Service. The door seals, window seals, floor mat, firewall insulation, could not be better if I replaced them. All windows including back glass are tinted from factory as this is common out west in desert environments, this is listed on the window sticker. This is a very tight truck. The ashtray appears to have just been made and the AM radio works great. The extra fuel tanks in the bed only need new fuel lines to be operational. I am only using the main tank behind the seat. The wheels on the truck are ultra light but I do not know the brand, as they were vintage wheels I had in storage, the tires have no miles on them and were purchased 5 Dec 2015 and installed on the truck prior to the photos. They are Cooper Discover all terrain. There is no rust under the hood or under the battery tray. There is rust on the drivers cab support and about 1 inch round rust spot on passenger cab support. There is small rust on one brace (not bad) about 1 inch rust spot in drivers floorboard. IF YOU ARE THE PROUD NEW OWNER OF THIS TRUCK, I WILL HAVE MY RESTORATION SHOP REPAIR THE UNDERSIDE RUST AT NO CHARGE AFTER I RECEIVE FULL PAYMENT. The original tires and wheels in the photo came on the truck, the tires are like new Toyo all terrain and go with the truck. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
