RELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYING BIDDER. ZERO-FEEDBACK BIDDERS, CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING, THANK YOU. You are bidding on a very classy and cool 1973 Ford F100 Short Wide Bed Hot Rod half-ton two wheel drive pickup. While not a flawless show truck, this is a very good-looking mild custom that you could get in and drive every day. And to anyone your driving by 10' away, it does look like a show truck. Very good-looking, clean, and unique while not being over the top. Custom bodywork includes rear tail light and bumper elimination, rear roll pan with custom tail lights, and a 1979 rectangular-headlamp grille and surround. The paint is a two-stage metallic Copper; it still looks great from 10-15' away; clear coat has begun to fail in some areas on the flat surfaces, and the clear has been touched up. The pictures of the truck were taken from 10-15' away, so you can get a genuine feel for how it looks. The outer body is very straight, with only minor dings, scratches, etc. The interior features newer carpet and headliner, nicely painted dash to match the exterior, a nostalgia Hot Rod steering wheel, good contemporary stereo, and full gauges. Again, not flawless, but good-looking and clean. The truck features new wheels in a custom black metallic finish, and big BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires; 295/50-15's out back *(their largest!), and 235's up front. Good brakes, tight steering, smooth acceleration. A good sound truck. Has had pro floor pan patch panels where the original flooring was soft with pinholes. Minor rust in the bed a couple inches from the bulkhead/cab. No evidence of outer body rust anywhere; it looks rust free on the outer body. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection, export, etc. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself and the vehicle available to your carrier on short notice. Please call 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. Please be prepared to pay in full within 3 days of auction's end via cash, bank transfer, or major bank cashier's check (must wait for check to clear issuing bank prior to release of the truck and/or paperwork). While every effort is being made to describe the truck accurately, it is in fact a 42-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Zero-feedback bidders please contact me PRIOR to bidding. Thank you!

Speedometer shows under 27,000 miles and many restorations have speedometers set to zero which I believe to be the case here. I purchased this truck on eBay for my own use and love it but honestly the cabin is just too small for this big guy 6'-2" and (about 260 pounds) I have decided to pass it on to someone who can really appreciate it. I purchased it in Montana and the transaction was handled by a Billings Montana broker. I am assuming it what collectors call a "Widows car" but have not verified that. I was provided a handwritten note saying the engine is a 305 Ford and the frame is a 1963 1/2 Ford 1/2 ton and the rear end is 3.91 ratio and 28 spline. It has power steering and a Grant steering wheel. The truck appears to have been professionally restored and modified. The instruments work except the original gas gauge is inoperative and a after market gas gauge is mounted on the bottom of the dashboard. There is an after market stereo in the glove box with speakers behind the seat but I never turned it on. There are few minor paint chips as is expected from a vehicle with 27,000 miles. The truck is actually 3 tone and very tasteful. The bed is a little lighter than the cab and the trim is a darker brownish color. There are small dents in two of the horizontal grille bars and these are available new either a whole grille or individual bars. The electrical wiring is very neat and all in god shape. The tires are fine and the truck cruises at freeway speeds with lots of power to spare. I would drive this truck anywhere, it gets a lot of attention and everyone loves it. I always hear "My father had one of these" and comments like that. I have not changed the title so I will provide clear Montana title from previous owner plus a bill of sale. There are questions about the engine, I am old school flat head guy and am not sure if it is Chevy or Ford. Feel free to comment if you can tell. I have posted engine pictures also. There is an electronic ignition system also On Aug-28-15 at 14:31:25 PDT, seller added the following information:

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE You are bidding on a very nice 1972 Ford F-100 Short Wide Bed pickup. This truck came from the factory with a 302 2v engine, and 3-speed C4 automatic transmission, both of which have been rebuilt and are in fantastic working order. It is a turn-key runner and driver, and in very sound condition all around.Specifics as follows: -One older repaint in White and Gray, not a great job but an overall good-looking and sound paint job -Very straight body in all respects; no major damage -Very nice trim including new front bumper, restored grill, new XLT side trim, etc.-Good windshield, new tinted side- and back glass -Engine is the original 302 2v rebuilt including a cam, rings, bearings, oil pump, etc.-Transmission is the C4 automatic, also rebuilt -New dual exhaust system sounds fantastic -Interior is very decent and includes a newly-upholstered bench seat, and headliner -Chrome modular wheels with decent radial tires -Good power steering and power brakes -Runs and drives beautifully As you can see, the truck is in very nice overall condition, with straight body panels and a sound older "15-footer" repaint still showing nicely. There is very little rust to mention: some minor blistering in some body seam areas, down low, but nothing through or major Overall, the truck appears to be very sound. Mechanically outstanding, the 302 Cleveland engine was rebuilt at some time in the recent past, and features a slightly bigger cam, new rings, bearings, oil pump, timing set, etc. as well as a newer dual exhaust system. Easy starts, smooth running. The interior is nice and features new seat upholstery, and a new headliner. Clear title in hand, matches the VIN exactly for export or inspection. Please be prepared to pay in full within three days of auction's end via cash, major bank cashier's check (must wait for funds to clear issuing bank PRIOR to releasing the vehicle and/or paperwork), deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank funds transfer. While every effort is being made to describe the vehicle as precisely as possible, it is in fact a 36-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warrantee or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Shipping is the FULL responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself available for your carrier on short notice. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have the car advertised locally as well.

Also included in this truck: C6 transmission, 3.25 open dif rear end, dual mirrors, and sliding rear window. According to Marti Auto Works, this truck is 1 of 114 with these options. With the exception of, upgraded wheels and newer tires, aftermarket rear bumper, older spray in bed liner, bed caps, exhaust with headers, paint, dealer installed am/fm/8 track stereo, sliding rear window, air horns and tach, this truck is bone stock. The truck was repainted 2003. Known issues are: There is a small oil leak, when it sits for several weeks, I notice a silver dollar size oil drop on the driveway. The main fuel tank does not work, when switched, the truck runs for a minute, then dies. The A/C does not work. There is a small rust hole in the bed. The paint is thin in areas, at a distance, it is presentable. The steering wheel has cracks. The passenger side header leaks. The original seat has a tiny hole on the drivers side. The carpet is faded. There are nicks, and scratches around and inside the truck. This is a nice classic original truck, that with a little work, could be a really nice truck for show, or play. I would recommend having the truck inspected at the buyers expense. There are several shops around me that can do this. Sound Ford here in Renton: 888-809-5272 or Mathewson’s Automotive also in Renton: 425-226-2965 (they specialize in classic cars and trucks). I am selling this truck “AS IS”. It is up to the buyer to do whatever is needed to be satisfied with the truck prior to purchase. This truck runs and drives really nice! There is not slop in the steering, and does not pull when braking. The truck shifts like it should, without slipping. Just a nice driving older Ford truck! The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping. The buyer must pay $500 within 48 hours after winning the truck by Paypal, then the balance within seven days by wire transfer/cash/certified funds. The title and or truck will NOT be released until funds have cleared. NO EXCEPTION! I reserve the right to cancel the auction early, for I have the truck listed locally. If you want more information, and or more pictures, please send me your email, and I will get them out to you.

Very rare 1979 F-100 Short Narrow Bed "Stepside" factory hotrod truck. I look for this kind of thing every day, and see maybe a half-dozen a year... very, very rare. 120k original miles, turn-key runner and driver with the factory 302 V8 and C4 automatic, power steering, power brakes, and rare three-spoke aluminum Sport steering wheel. Mostly original Pewter silver paint, touched up in spots, decent shine remains. Some rust beginning at the bed side seam, pinholes in the floor, two small metal patches on the driver's floor, a bit of rust at the door bottom, tiny spot up on the cab near the drip rail. I'm listing everything I can find; sounds like a lot but it's actually very minimal, and the truck is very sound.. Interior is original multi-colored blue in decent driver-quality condition. Bed wood is decent, not great. Covered by a thick durable rubber liner that makes it fully functional. Engine is the original 302 2v, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes. Good running and driving truck, cracked windshield, missing radio. Baby moon wheels, good radial tires, good brakes, steering, sound engine, etc. Factory mirrors removed, "clip-on" hotrod driver's side mirror installed... no extra holes; stock mirrors could go back on if you like. Clear title in hand, matches vin exactly for export and/or inspection. Please be prepared to remit payment in full by cash, major bank cashier's check (must wait until check physically clears the issuing bank prior to releasing the truck and/or title), deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank-to-bank transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself and the vehicle available for loading on short notice. While every effort is being made to describe the truck as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 36-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. I don't think you can buy a cooler turn-key classic driver for under four grand. I am available at 360-936-9257 for any questions, or more info.

Auto restoration shop offers this restored 1975 Ford F100 Custom 4x4 Long Bed pickup. I purpose built this truck for myself, intended to be left at a rural Montana cabin for year round use. The cabin has been sold, so here is the truck for sale. I spent over 24k (my cost) building this truck to be one mean mountain machine. This truck is turn-key, ready for the new owner. I bought quality parts from LMC Truck, spent a fortune on the drive train. I get thumbs up and chatted up at every gas station when driving this. I started with a rust free straight truck from the high desert of eastern WA. 1975 model year is emission exempt in most states including California. This truck was built to be used, but could be proudly shown at any car event. Click this PhotoBucket link for 69 pictures of this truck. http://s953.photobucket.com/user/fj40man79/library/1975%20Ford%20Restored Click this link for a YouTube video http://youtu.be/yjiw2dVOBuY MECHANICAL The motor is a newly rebuilt 390. Motor estimated at 350 HP & 425 TQ. Edelbrock electric choke 4 barrel on a 4 barrel intake. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Newly rebuilt automatic C6 transmission with shift kit. High/Low transfer case, 2 or 4 wheel. I built this set-up for low end grunt, but it still raps out quick, incredible power. High pinion Dana 44 front axle with locker. I set this truck up to bust snow drifts, you can have full positive traction up front with both hubs locked in, or drive it in mild 4 wheel drive with 1 hub locked in. The rear end is the famous Ford 9 inch, I left the rear end with open differential. When driving in ice or light snow you do not want a locked up rear end, you will slide all over. With this setup you get max traction and drivability. Heavy duty radiator and trans cooler. We built some heavy duty solid steel Bambi bumpers. In Montana, we run the gauntlet on back roads when it comes to deer and other wildlife. Everyone I know has hit a deer with their expensive truck causing severe damage. I promise….if you hit a deer with this front bumper, the deer will lose, you will have a lot of blood to clean up, but this truck will be just fine. Warn winch with controller, 2 KC lights with covers. Truck can be easily returned to chrome bumpers if desired. We re-wired most of the truck, everything works as it should. 35/12.5/15 BFG KM2’s on aluminum wheels, maybe 200 miles on this set. BODY I started off with a clean rot free straight original Ford truck, we all know what a feat that is to find. No rot anywhere, very little body work needed before paint. Painted a nice dark metallic blue inside and out. The bed is raptor lined, new seals and windshield. All the aftermarket parts are from LMC Truck, they are quality and expensive, no JC Whitney crap. The undercarriage is coated with POR-15, the best stuff available. Decent CD player and speakers. The glass is all good, nothing major imperfection wise sticks out to me, but this truck has been driven so there is a minor rock chip here and there. This is one great sorted out vintage Ford truck. This truck and restore would cost 29-31k at my shop. Take advantage, get a new restoration at a much better price right now with no waiting. I require a $1000 non-refundable deposit via PayPal directly after auction conclusion (no exceptions) the rest within 5 days. I will go to extreme lengths to collect, so no bidding if you have the slightest hesitation of coming through. I welcome 3rd party inspections during the auction, skip Auto Appraisals & Pre-Buy Inspections, I own that business. I have a shipping broker who has shipped dozens of vehicles for me all over the lower 48, I will put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can be handled as well. Canadian buyers welcome. I have a clean clear WA state title in my name in hand for this truck. I’m selling off some of my personal collection to help finance a larger shop. My 4000 Ft shop is too small, going bigger. I’m tired of turning restoration work away, so I’m taking the plunge. Coming to eBay 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia $175,000, 2014 Corvette Stingray Z51 7 speed $62,000, 1963 Chevy short step side 2 wheel drive restored $25,000, 1977 FJ40 nicely restored $35,000 (sale pending) and a 1981 BJ42 diesel (nicest in the world) $65,000.
