This is an 1968 Ford F-100 v-8, 4 speed, dual exhaust, short bed. These trucks originally came with 6 cylinders, although this truck received a wonderfully modified hot rod 289/302 mated to a Hurst 4 speed on the floor. "this truck really sounds good" Needless to say; the truck is a hot rod and a real blast to drive. The original paint can still be seen under the color coat that was painted over the original finish more than 30 years ago. This truck displays a wonderful patina that stands out. This F-100 is a very desirable short bed with a very straight body. There are a couple of trim pieces missing along the side but that trim can be purchased on- line. These collector trucks were built without extensive electronics, power steering, power brakes or power windows. The color is originally red with a red interior. The truck is running on period built vintage slotted mags. Extra gauges have been installed in this F-100 to monitor the vitals. The engine is great and hits beautifully, the clutch is good, the transmission shifts as it should. It would be a shame to do, but a paint job, a seat recover along with some detail work will razzle-dazzle the truck if that's your preference. The mileage is believed to be correct as explained by the last owners relatives. The title for this truck was issued in 1978/9. Questions can be emailed or call 404-386-0010

Here are some additional details about the truck from my father: I've owned the truck for about 25 years. Neither the engine nor transmission has needed any work done. The engine does not use any oil. I have had the carburetor cleaned. I do not know the mileage on the truck, I replaced the odometer years ago. The air does not currently work, it needs a new condenser and the lever that controls the AC is broken and needs repaired. I do have an extra heater/AC control and an extra AC unit. I have several extra parts, the original steering wheel (black), extra chrome for sides of truck, etc. (I'm sure I would other parts when I get in the storage building). All of the spare parts will go with the truck. There are some places where the paint needs touching up. Also, there is a small spot of rust at the bottom front on drivers side door seal. That was caused by the sun roof leaking. I did not put the sun roof in, it was there when I bought the truck. I am having the paint touched up and the rust spot patched. It has a quick disconnect on the drive shaft if you want to pull it. I put a high speed rear end in it for better gas mileage, I did not need all of that power. The only body work would be the rusty spot and replacing the sun roof if you wanted to do that. It is a good solid truck. The NADA book lists this truck for $8k to $12k, if it were in top shape it would list for up to $18k. It is a great collector's item. Call me at 423-488-2924 if you have anymore questions. Win

Up for trade is my 1973 Ford F-100 Ranger Pickup Truck with Factory A/C and Low Miles. Formerly owned by an elderly gentleman that took very good care and maintained it well. The paint shows great from 10 ft. When up close I can see minimal touch up that was not done to professional show quality. Odometer currently reads 93,000 and I believe this to be correct after driving this truck daily. This truck starts like it should, shifts like it should, drives down the road like it should with very minor play in the steering wheel and brakes like it should. In Fact the transmission looks, works, shifts and sounds like it was recently rebuilt. Look for yourself and you will understand. This truck has an aluminum intake on it's original 302C.I. V-8 with a 650 edlebrock carb. The interior shows very nice with it's original genuine leather bench seat that has no tears or cracks. It looks naturally discolored. I thought about dying it but decided to let the next owner choose. The dash has no cracks. The tires have great tread. This truck has a front disc brake conversion on it with brand new Rotors and pads. The back drums and shoes are also new. It has a tool box that works properly but I don't have the keys. It also has a visor with lights in it that I removed because I thought it took from the original look of the truck. The tool box and visor go with it. The windshield as well as all of the glass has no cracks and looks nice. I have the original Georgia Title for this truck. Will come with title as well as a bill of sale. The tailgate works. The lights all work properly and it has a CD- Bluetooth AM FM stereo Trade value must be around $5000. I can add cash to the right deal. I would like a dually, 4x4, cars, hot rods, classic, trucks, motorcycles, RV's, Campers, UTV 's or any other vehicles, tools, properties or items you can think of. The worst that can happen is I don't need or want it. No hard feelings. It's worth a try. Bare in mind that the truck is a decent truck so please don't expect me to give it up for junk. Please call or TEXT PICS of what you have to my phone. My name is JOEL 7708826876

Rugged, dependable, stylish and user friendly are but a few words to describe this 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger. A southern truck with a great look, a torquey 302, and a fun 4-speed, this is cowboy cool at its finest. Scan the long flanks, covered in bright blue, and you'll find a driver-grade paint job that was done not too long ago. Not perfect, but plenty flashy and definitely the kind of truck that gets all kinds of thumbs-up gestures out on the road. There's a nice run of trim down the sides, a bright grille up front and a tailgate applique: this is a top-of-the-line Ranger. Bright windshield moldings, rear window moldings and drip rail moldings speak quietly what the badges on the side of the bed loudly shout. Being a Southern truck, the cab and bed are solid, and the repaint is clean and holding up very well. The '72 only grille is excellent, as are the big F O R D letters on the hood. All lights and lenses are clear and work as they should. Tinted glass is a nice touch which makes for an even more comfortable ride and gives it an updated, sleek look. The bed is clean, wearing a spray-in bedliner and a set of shiny bed rails add the finishing statement. Inside, you'll find a reupholstered seat in factory-style gray fabric taking center stage. Rangers came with carpeting instead of rubber floor mats, and that made a world of difference in cabin noise. The dowdy two-spoke tiller was ditched in favor of a classic three-spoke piece with a fat rim that's easy to grip and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo replaces the original AM unit. The woodgrain on the dash and bright seat hinge covers are other Ranger touches. Matching gray door panels feel more sophisticated than the original vinyl units and speakers have been installed down low in the doors for improved sound. The gauges are original and the lens is a little cloudy, but we have to admit that we like the look and especially the blue-highlighted FORD lettering across the center. And yes, that's a Hurst T-handle shifter for the 4-speed manual gearbox underneath, making this pickup feel a lot more muscular than you'd expect. Under the hood is a 302 cubic inch V8, a big step up from the standard straight six. It's dressed up a bit with a new chrome air cleaner and freshly painted valve covers; after all, who can resist a little bit of the shiny stuff? There's a modern serpentine belt drive setup on the front of the engine, which helps with reliability, and an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor up top for horsepower. The twin I beam suspension and tall 3.00 gears in the 9-inch housing out back make highway travel just as pleasurable. There's a nice rumble from the dual exhaust with glasspack-style mufflers, offering that traditional 5.0 rumble that's become so familiar. The frame and floors are original, untreated and not doctored with in any way; this really is a clean truck. Fat 255/60/15 radials on late-model F150 aluminum wheels set the attitude. Best of all? This truck DRIVES great! They built a lot of F-series trucks over the years, but few survive in this condition, and that's why this one is special. If this is your ideal ride, call today! 1972 Ford F-100 for Sale 1972 Ford F-100 for Sale Stock # 2871-ATL Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. We can't seem to keep them in stock, and while it took a while for them to catch up to their Chevy competition, they represent a great way to get some vintage iron for not a lot of cash. Of course, the biggest problem with collecting old pickups is finding the clean ones. You know, the ones that haven't been beaten, used to push a plow, or just ignored while tools beat up their beds. Fortunately, this F-100 seems to have been treated well for most of its life, so the bodywork is in good order and it doesn't feel used up. The classic red paint job recalls the glory days of early working-class pickups, and this one has just a bit of patina on it that makes it look right at home out by the barn. It was repainted in the 20th century, so it's not a show piece, but it doesn't need any immediate help today and offers a nice, clean, honest look. The grille is shiny, the bumpers are new pieces, and it must have been a real challenge to find a tailgate insert that well-preserved. And speaking of the tailgate, the bed is in good shape with just enough scuffs to let you know it doesn't mind working to earn its keep. Working class accommodations don't have to be crude, but we'll admit that the original vinyl bench needs a new seat cover. Today it's protected by a traditional "Mexican blanket" cloth cover that gives it a familiar look and is actually rather comfortable. Gray carpets on the floor brighten things up and that handsome Grant steering wheel really dresses things up inside. The gauges look like they were borrowed from some '50s show car, offering a complete array of instruments to watch the engine, all surrounded in a stylish bright metal bezel. There are also auxiliary gauges under the dash, just ahead of the big B&M shifter for the C6 3-speed automatic transmission underneath. Even the original AM/FM radio is still in the dash, although it's probably due for an upgrade today. Ford trucks got their own line of engines, with the 390 cubic inch V8 in this one being a very popular choice. But there's no V8 that can't be made better with the addition of things like an pair of aluminum Edelbrock heads, a matching Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor, headers, plus a rumbling dual exhaust system. It's also quite neatly dressed, with a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner and Ford Motorsport valve covers, just for effect. It's got less than 500 miles on the build, and both power steering and brakes are part of the package, so you can drive this truck daily if you feel like it but it'll be hard to keep your foot off the loud pedal once you feel all that torque. The chassis is quite clean, somewhere between immaculate original and an older restoration, but you won't find any rust or structural damage and plenty of evidence that this truck was purely transportation and not a workhorse. It has just the right stance to look sporty, which is surely enhanced by the new Pacer aluminum wheels wearing fresh blackwall radials. The market has definitely noticed these trucks, and with a little polish and elbow grease, this could be a very impressive addition to the field. Of course, that's easy to understand when they were as handsome and rugged as this short bed/regular cab example, which offers an awesome color combination, options like factory A/C, and a great-running 390 cubic inch V8. This vintage hauler offers just the right combination of functionality and flash, and the current condition is a wonderful testament to someone's rather large investment in its restoration. The sinister black paint accentuates the truck's square-jawed look, and it looks like there's no project it can't handle. It also appears that this has always been a super clean original truck, because there's no evidence of panel replacements or metal surgery under the paint, and as a lifelong southern truck, rust is not an issue. All the trim is in great condition, including the cool stainless side molding that stretches the entire length of the truck, accentuating the length of the 6-foot bed. The front bumper is chrome and in excellent shape and the grille with its trademark high-mounted parking lights is instantly recognizable as a Ford from a mile away. In back, there's another shiny chrome bumper and the solid bed has been finished with a non-skid bed liner material, making this truck ready to work or play. Oh, and a set of bed rails gives it a sporty look that's also highly functional. The handsome black cloth interior is so nice it almost hurts your eyes to look at it. The neatly upholstered bench seat wears funky '70s style cloth and shows that even a working class truck can have some style. The seat cover and door panel inserts appear to be brand new, while the gauges and instrument panel are original and in very good condition. Ford gave F100 buyers a comprehensive set of instruments, but in 1974, things like A/C and an automatic transmission were expensive options (fortunately, this truck has both). There's a newer AM/FM/cassette stereo in the center of the dash feeding speakers in the doors and upgraded units behind the seat, and it sounds impressive given the well-insulated cabin. Newer black carpets certainly help with that and look great at the same time. 390 cubic inches is more than sufficient to get this truck moving in a hurry, and the engine bay itself is extremely clean and nicely detailed for a stock look. You'll find nice Ford Blue paint on the engine itself and satin black engine accessories like the massive A/C compressor. New hoses, plugs, wires and other maintenance items were installed during the restoration, so it runs and drives beautifully, with a great V8 rumble to the exhaust, which comes complements of Flowmaster. The 3-speed automatic is virtually bulletproof and the chassis is proof enough that this is a clean truck from down south, one that's had a good amount of cash poured into it. Color-matched wheels with chrome trim rings and centers are exactly the right choice and carry 255/75/15 Firestone radials. If you're of a certain age, you grew up when these trucks were everywhere, but today nice ones are hard to find. Beautifully finished, surprisingly fast, and totally practical, this is an awesome truck at an awesome price. Not heavily modified, not slammed, not wearing 20-inch wagon wheels, it's instead pretty close to what you would have driven home to the farm from the Ford dealer in 1969, and we like that a lot. The medium blue finish is quiet and clean, just the way trucks like this should be. Ford wasn't doing flashy in 1969, this was a working man's tool, not a fashion statement, so it was attractive but not over-done. It's been repainted at some point, and while it has a few signs of age and use, it's about what you'd expect for a working-class hauler. Nice, but not perfect. It actually doesn't look like it's spent its life at hard labor, because the bodywork is straight, the panels line up nicely, and the bed hasn't been bashed. The chrome and stainless trim gives the upscale Ranger its more sophisticated look, particularly with the bright streak along its flanks. A nice-looking grille, shiny chrome bumpers with oversized bumper guards, and a tailgate with big bold FORD lettering all tie it together quite neatly. Basic black is clean and elegant against the blue paint and it sure appears that just about everything inside this truck is recently restored. The door panels and dashboard have been replaced and look almost new, while the black vinyl bench seat is just about how it would have been when it was new, offering a commanding view of the road and good comfort for longer hauls. There's an industrial-strength rubber mat on the floor, which is perfect for a vehicle designed to work in the field, and a few bright splashes of blue help brighten things up a bit inside. There's an AM/FM/CD stereo radio in the dash, but otherwise it's quite stock, from the unique instrument panel to the sliding heater controls. They did a really nice job getting it back into shape. While most of these trucks got torquey inline-sixes, this particular truck sports a snarling 289 cubic inch V8 that's more Mustang than F-Series. There's a Holley 4-barrel carburetor living under the stock air cleaner, which has been dressed up with proper '289' decals. Ford Blue engine enamel on the block stands out against the satin black engine bay and it has nice options like power steering and power brakes so you won't have any problems driving it every day. Shorty headers feed a 2.5-inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, so it's got that familiar Ford small block rumble and the 3-speed automatic transmission always seems to know what gear you need. The undercarriage appears to be wearing a light dusting of undercoating, but nothing heavy enough to hide trouble; it's just there to keep things looking neat. The heavy-duty 9-inch rear end hangs on sturdy leaf springs that actually ride rather well. Rolling stock consists of the factory steel wheels and hubcaps wrapped in fat 255/70/15 blackwall radials. As you can see, there's a lot here that we really like. The work is recent and nicely done, the engine is very strong, and the truck is a blast to drive. Still very affordable and still willing to work now and then, a hobby vehicle like this makes a lot of sense. Sure, Camaros and Mustangs are hot, but these are the vehicles that get snatched up within days of being posted, and this 390-powered dark green one is a lot nicer than most. If you grew up in the '70s, trucks very much like this were a common sight, but today? Not so much. Most were mere tools, used up and tossed aside, with Ford all too happy to build you a replacement. This one appears to have followed a different path, perhaps with someone who wanted a little utility on the weekends but who also appreciated a bit of muscle on the daily drive. The dark green paint looks great on the slab-sided pickup, a bit formal and a bit sporty; maybe if Frank Bullitt drove a pickup, this is what it would have looked like. Gaps are very good all around and the bed hasn't been bashed by heavy loads, and as a lifetime southern vehicle, you know that the steel is in good shape. There's plenty of bright trim on this top-of-the-line Ranger, including a stand-up hood ornament, original aluminum grille that's in remarkably good shape, and chrome bumpers that really sparkle against the dark green paint. The bed is in great shape, as I mentioned, and it's covered by a professionally applied spray-in bedliner that shows rather well. The black interior is a very upscale looking place for a '60s pickup truck, particularly with the fresh cloth and vinyl seat cover for the original bench. It's mostly original, with a factory dash full of gauges in a wide oval panel and the secondary controls underneath. This truck also offers factory A/C, which is a nice bonus that uses R134a refrigerant for modern performance and serviceability. The thick steering wheel obviously isn't original but it looks and feels right in the vintage pickup truck. Overhead you'll find a modern AM/FM/CD stereo head unit in a neat custom console, which cleans up the look of the original dashboard quite a bit. Black carpets help with noise and heat control, as does the slight tint on the windows. A strong-running 390 cubic inch V8 provides impressive performance in the relatively lightweight pickup truck. With legendary durability and a great V8 exhaust note, you'll quickly forget about hauling hay when you're behind the wheel. It's equipped with a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake, and a familiar MSD coil to help it run its best, while a few chrome dress-up pieces make the big engine bay look racy. An electric fan does a superior job of keeping it cool in traffic, although with that giant radiator, it's probably never been an issue. Underneath there's a C6 speed automatic transmission and a heavy-duty 9-inch rear end, so you can still use this truck as intended and the suspension is pretty much stock so no worries about bottoming-out with a load in back. Late-model Ford chrome wheels add some sparkle and still look proper and they're wrapped in fat 255/70/15 white-letter radials. So don't be surprised if you see this one move to the SOLD page pretty quickly. Hopefully you're the guy who grabbed it, because trucks this nice don't come along all that often. Well, you're in luck, because this handsome, frame-off restored 1967 Ford F-100 has a great look, a strong-running V8 engine, a few smart upgrades, and is still ready, willing, and able to put in a day's work around the homestead. Two-tone paint treatments were wildly popular with pickup buyers in the '60s, and it's easy to see why. This Ford looks remarkably trim in its red and white combination, almost too stylish to be just a pickup, don't you think? Ford designers were fans of the "less is more" school of thought, and the slab-sided bed is accented with a white rub strip that runs the length of the truck and makes it look sleek and smooth. As a lifelong southern truck, you know it was never a rust bucket, and thanks to a repaint a few years ago, it still looks fresh. Even the bed is dent-free and straight, meaning this was never a truck that needed to work for a living, although the spray-in bedliner means you can put it to work today without a second thought. There isn't much chrome, but things like the bumpers and oversized side mirrors are in great shape and add a bit of sparkle to the industrial-strength Ford. The original bench is still in place, and now wears a reproduction black vinyl seat cover that gives it a great look as well as low maintenance. Details like the door panels and instruments are 100% original and in outstanding condition, and overhead there's a custom consolette with built-in speakers for the AM/FM/CD stereo. The big, red wheel feels substantial and makes wheeling the big Ford pretty easy and there's a trick gauge cluster strapped to the steering column that puts all the auxiliary dials in the same place. The speedometer and fuel gauge are original, and the original AM radio in the dash is there as a place-holder only, mostly because it looks right. Recent black carpets and a new black dash pad round out the upgrades that make this vintage hauler feel very comfortable in today's world. The 352 cubic inch V8 is a relatively rare option in these trucks, and this is indeed a Y-code truck, which means the 352 is how this one was born. Topped by a 4-barrel carburetor and with a brand new dual exhaust system, performance is lively with or without a load in back. The engine bay is full of freshly restored components and lots of Ford Blue paint, but nothing that alters the truck's basic originality. Details like the accessory windshield washer bag are a neat feature and correct reproduction decals were used wherever possible. The 3-speed automatic transmission shifts easily and spins the original 9-inch rear end which is easily up to the task of any job thanks to 3.25 gears inside. Even the air cleaner and its 352 decal are as the factory made them, more evidence that this truck has always been treated right. Underneath, you'll be astounded by how clean it is, and there's just no evidence of any previous damage, from the Twin I-Beam front suspension to the heavy-duty rear drum brakes. Period perfect Cragar mag wheels add a sporty look and carry staggered 245/60/15 front and 295/50/15 rear white letter radials. Trucks rarely get a restoration this nice. Built with an eye towards authenticity but adding a few creature comforts to make it usable every day, this is a hobby vehicle that can definitely earn its keep. This one won't last long, call today! 1967 Ford F-100 for Sale 1967 Ford F-100 for Sale Stock # 2733-ATL Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1.
