This is nice 1996 Ford Bronco. This is the last year this body style was available. Destined to be a future classic! This particular rig was formerly used as a sheriff rig for a small county out her in Utah. Typically state owned vehicles are very well maintained. This Bronco has no rust on the wheel wells or tailgate, or anywhere on the body for that matter. It's still wearing it's original paint and the "emery county sheriff" decal outlines can still be seen. This would make a great movie prop, or just a fun mountain rig. Now the bad.. Both armrests for the seats are broken off, the dash has a couple cracks in it, and the interior does have some wear. The drivers seat foam is about due for replacement. It sags to the left. The carpets could use a major cleaning. The exterior has dings and scratches like any 20 year old rig does, but it overall very presentable. The underside could used a full sanding and some undercoat. There is no major rust, but I would do that if you planned to take this off road in any way to preserve it. It also has a "check engine" light on. It runs and shifts excellent, but I can't seem to get rid of the pesky light. It still passed emissions. The 351 roller windsor engine runs excellent and the transmission shifts well. It does have locking front hubs as well. I have repaired the following: New IAC New premium wiper blades New upper and lower ball joints right side Complete rebuild of air conditioning system, everything was replaced. Rear o2 sensor New 31x10.50/15 GoodYear duratrac tires on new steel wheels. Includes new fender trim in boxes from LMC. The drivers side is bad and I wanted them to all match. It is encouraged to have this rig taken to a mechanic to have inspected before you make the purchase. I bought this Bronco with the intent to re sale it. I'm posting this Bronco for a friend. It is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37130. It's a beautiful 1977 4 wheel drive. Of course this is the last year they made this body style and they only made 14,600 of these in 1977. Who knows how many are actually left out there. If you've been looking at these long you know you see many of them in really rough condition. This one is really nice. My friend was in the process of restoring it and doing things to it that he wanted to do but he simply decided to devote his time to other things and is going to let someone else have this beauty. If you've been looking for a nice one then here it is. He does have a clear title to it in hand. We are willing to help make arrangements with you for a car hauler to pick it up and deliver it to you. I have done this for others before when I sold cars on eBay so I have a bit of experience with this. But obviously the best solution would be for you to come and pick it up. We are going to require a $500 deposit via paypal if you buy the vehicle. Payment method preferred is cash but we will also accept a certified cashiers check that we will have to get verified by your bank before the vehicle can be taken away. I'm going to share with you what he told me he has done to it so far. These are his exact words in an email to me: It's in pretty good shape all around. It's an automatic with power steering and power brakes. Has a handful of minor things that could use some attention: New weatherstripping, glove box and steering column cover needs to be re-installed from the dash replacement. The firewall has some old cut outs that need to be filled or covered, Side mirrors are a little loose, Hood has some cracking in the paint along the front edge, Hard top has a few rust spots along the rim but nothing that has compromised the metal nor eaten through.Doors and strike plates could use some adjusting so they close a little easier, Needs windshield wipers. It has some minor leaks (never pools or drips, just seeps) from transfer case, oil panI think the rear brakes (might be axle seals but I'm still looking into it). I have an extra steel hood and some other misc. parts that will go with it. I've done the following work on it:full EFI conversion to a 5.0 mustang engine (no having to worry about any temperamental carburetors). It is a used engine that had less than 100K miles on it and was installed by a certified auto mechanic.Custom dash with all new gauges.Speakers, and a stereo (stereo not installed yet but wired and ready to be installed).All new dual exhaust, tail pipes, and catalytic converter (should be good to go for emissions testing).New drag link for steering. He told me he no longer has any of the original parts that were replaced nor does he have the original engine. When I first saw this vehicle in his garage it really jumped out at me. It has a really beautiful look to it. This is not an ugly Bronco. It's in really nice condition and I think you would be glad to own it. Being the last year this model was made - it's really a gem.
