They have a unique feel that a beater can never duplicate and mechanically they're always A-1, perhaps with a few upgrades to improve their performance along the way. This 1976 Bronco still works well as a daily driver or even an off-road toy that's still plenty potent in the dirt. We're guessing that no 1976 Bronco ever had white paint this vivid and it looks fantastic. As a clean, vehicle hailing from the deserts of New Mexico, all the sheetmetal is in great shape, and if this one has been off-road, it hasn't been abused or bashed. The paint offers fantastic gloss and a few custom touches such as the faux Boss 429-style hood scoop, and it appears that it has a set of rear fender flares that were added in the past, another interesting part of its history. Of note, it does not appear that there ever were front fender flares on this particular truck, perhaps another link to the wild '70s in which it was born. The removable hardtop is contrasting black and white and shows no cracks or yellowing, and all the brightwork, including the stamped grille and simple bumpers, is in excellent shape. This truck has not been extensively modified but somehow it looks bigger, wider, and longer than most other early Broncos and we love the attitude. The interior is handsomely upgraded with a set of front bucket seats from a late-model Ford Explorer wrapped in black seat covers so you can still play in the dirt. Gray carpets have been added and they're clean and show only light fading, so you know it's been well-maintained since its rejuvenation. A custom Grant GT steering wheel and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD player add to the updated driving experience and there's a tachometer strapped to the steering column. There's also a column-mounted shifter for the C4 3-speed automatic transmission along with a floor shifter for the 2-speed transfer case while you're off-roading. The rear bench is also upholstered in cloth instead of vinyl, so this Bronco definitely has an upscale feel inside and it's not limited to front seat passengers. Even the cargo bay is carpeted, indicating that making this Bronco feel civilized was a primary goal during the build. The 302 cubic inch V8 was the sole engine choice in 1976, and it's the right one. With plenty of torque and a neat V8 sound that's unexpected from the trucklet, it moves easily through traffic, and with the low range afforded by the two-speed transfer case, it'll crawl along barely off idle without complaint. It's upgraded with the usual bolt-ons like an Edelbrock carburetor and HEI-style ignition system, as well as some chrome dress-up parts to make it sparkle. There's a big aluminum radiator up front and a set of long-tube headers feeding a dual exhaust, so the sound is more 5.0 Mustang than off-road truck. The transmission shifts nicely and the original axles are full of highway-friendly gears so this is a truck you can use regularly. A mild lift kit has given it impressive off-road prowess, and while it's not sparkling clean underneath, it definitely looks loved and well-maintained, which is the whole point. Stylish American Racing wheels are fitted with big 33x12.50-15 Goodyear all-terrain tires that really give it a great profile. Early Broncos were collectable the moment the bigger 1978 model rolled out, and this one looks like a lot of fun. First-generation Ford Broncos are red-hot right now, so imagine showing up in this 1974 example with its custom cab and mini pickup bed! It's also a ton of fun to drive and ready to play off road with a few smart upgrades like a 351 cubic inch V8, heavy-duty suspension, and gorgeous paint. Finished in beautiful Sunset Orange (a Camaro color), there's no sneaking around in this Bronco. The paint job was done just last year, and the goal was to build a show truck that wouldn't mind bouncing around in the dirt. The panels are quite straight, which is critical for a good foundation, and this has never been a rusty truck that needed major surgery to get back into shape. The modified cab and bed have turned it into a somewhat practical little hauler, although the Bronco was never destined to haul sheets of plywood, and the look is rather appealing. The top is a fiberglass piece that has been painted to match the bodywork, which emphasizes the compact dimensions and custom look, and the overall fit and finish shows a thoughtful builder rather than something thrown together on a whim. Black fender extensions allow for some seriously big rubber, and stock bumpers with a satin black finish are ready for action and require exactly zero maintenance and fussing. The bed is protected with spray-in bedliner material and offers a full-sized spare and locking storage compartment. This is one truck you'll never have to worry about when you're out having fun. The snug 2-seat cockpit has been upgraded with a set of custom bucket seats that are vastly more comfortable than the original stools. There's also a custom center console with more useful storage space inside as well as a pair of cup holders. Diamond plate flooring adds to the rough-and-tumble attitude and is easy to maintain when you're playing in the dirt. Gauges are original and a little faded, and they're joined by big auxiliary gauges under the dash and a column-mounted tach to monitor the stout 351 up front. A three-speed manual transmission is fitted with a Hurst shifter and cue ball knob, with the second lever on the floor controlling the 2-speed transfer case, which you'll probably use if you want to explore this truck's limits. A small-diameter steering wheel with a fat rim looks right in the '70s truck, and an AM/FM/CD/iPod stereo will keep you adequate entertained when you're not splashing around in the mud. You could get your Bronco from the factory with a 302 cubic inch V8, which makes it rather easy to slide a 351 Windsor V8 under the hood today. Those extra cubes translate into big torque and it's still a neat fit in the Bronco's engine bay. It wears an Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 4-barrel carburetor, and finned "Bronco" valve covers as dress-up, but otherwise it looks pretty OEM. Its off-road heritage is visible in the mini cooler for the power steering fluid and big radiator, and there are obvious signs of recent maintenance. Underneath, the chassis is sold and you'll have no worries about plunging into the brush with it, and the 351 sounds great exhaling through the dual exhaust system that ends with chrome tips behind the rear wheels. A new clutch and flywheel make it smooth and easy to shift while power front disc brakes and power steering mean those giant tires aren't a challenge. Custom aluminum wheels wear giant BFGoodrich off-road radials which give it a butch look and plenty of ground clearance. Beautifully built and only lightly used since it was completed, this is a high-quality early Bronco with the right look and lots of power. 1993 Ford Bronco EDDIE BAUER 1993 Bronco Only 44.9k Actual Miles! 5.0 V8 Beautiful Original Survivor! LeatherCollector Quality (Very Few Left) Rare opportunity to own a 22 year old Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco that is loaded with everything from the day. It is in pristine condition with unheard of mileage of 44,900. The new brakes on the front and new tires are the only thing not original. I drove this vehicle from the east coast last month with the cruise control on 65-70 for 14 hours with 0 problems. It used no oil and got an average of 16 mpg. The carpet looks new and you can see from the pictures the original paint still shines with no issues. The top cover has never been off of this vehicle. It drives, shifts and brakes like it did new while going straight down the road. It is a pleasure to drive. All windows work from all switches and all rubber is good. The doors open and close like new with no wind noise. There are no smells or funny noises. This vehicle is rust free. Take a look at how nice the under carriage is along with the tie rod rubber boots intact. The outside of the oil pan is dry with no bad seals or drips of any kind. You will find no spots on the garage floor. There are few scuff marks on the inside of the tailgate from the original owner because they were not carpeted until 1994. You can still order the part number and install the carpet if you prefer. I chose to leave it original. There is no evidence that it was ever smoked in and I have been told it still smells new! Absolutely amazing. I am confident that you will not be disappointed. This is a great low mileage honest truck at less than half the cost of a new one if Ford still made them. Enjoy the photos and you are welcome to come see it before buying. If you have any questions or want a specific photo just give me a shout. Buyers should not hesitate to fly in and drive this Bronco home to anywhere in the country. If that is your plan I am 30 miles from DFW airport and available to shuttle you to the truck most evenings and weekends with previous notice . You will be provided a clean title, a bill of sale, a recent Texas inspection "passed" report, a permit to transport and the owners manual. 817-312-5988 PLEASE READ THE TERMS & CONDITIONS BEFORE PURCHASING, THANKS!!?1. This 1968 Ford Bronco makes a compelling argument for choosing the Ford by virtue of its torquey 289, awesome black paint job, and an obvious dedication to getting the job done right. If you're looking for a fun off-roader with all the hard work already done, this is a great choice. You know the deal with black paint-make it right or pick another color-and this Bronco has obviously had a lot of time invested in its appearance. It's not perfect, because then you'd be afraid to use it as intended, but it's nice enough to get second and third glances at the local cruise night and folks who see you getting it dirty will probably lose their minds. But the important thing is that the body is in good condition and ready for the rigors of off-roading, and thanks to the urethane paint, it'll probably stand up to the elements better than the factory enamel ever did. It's amazing how the simple lines of the Bronco give it a timeless look, and with the doors removed and the bikini top overhead, it's as minimalist as the beloved Jeep and every bit as capable. Aside from a set of fender flares painted to match the rest of the body, it's quite stock, too, including the shiny chrome bumpers, painted grille, and functional tailgate. The interior was obviously built with serious climbing in mind, offering supportive race-style bucket seats up front and a very cool 2-passenger version in back. The blue upholstery is designed to be hosed off and shrugs off dirt and water like a wetsuit and thanks to 4-point harnesses, you don't have to worry about holding yourself in place when the going gets tough. There's also a fat steering wheel that's easy to hang on to and the factory instrumentation has been augmented by a full set of Auto Meter gauges to keep an eye on things under the hood. There is no radio because, what's the point, and a six-point roll cage is perhaps the ultimate in safety gear. The floor and door sills have been covered in spray-in bed liner material so it's durable, attractive, and weatherproof, and that minimalist bikini top is the only one that comes with the truck, so you'd better be serious about you off-road fun. The recently rebuilt 289 cubic inch V8 has less than 2000 miles on it and runs superbly. Topped by a 2-barrel carburetor, it's plenty torquey for its duty in the relatively lightweight Bronco and seems perfectly content to slog around in the dirt at 5 MPH without getting cranky. It features a new wiring harness for reliability, and the stock air cleaner has been upgraded to carry a paper element, so it's easy to service in the field. It's backed by a 3-speed manual transmission and 2-speed transfer case feeding both axles. The front end has been extensively rebuilt, including a new front drive shaft, fresh brakes, hubs, bearings, and seals, and with a 2.5-inch lift, there's plenty of room for those big 32x11.5-15 Cooper off-road radials. This neat Bronco represents maximum fun from a minimalist package. Documented with receipts, you can take this tough off-roader anywhere without worries. Bright yellow paint certainly helps it stand out, but it's the details that will win you over and with a strong 302 under the hood, it moves more like a tall Mustang than a truck. Go on, have some fun in the mud! 1975 was the end of the line for the first-generation Bronco, but the die was cast and the name would continue for another two decades before finally being retired. Given how good this half-cab mini pickup looks, it's kind of a shame they didn't continue with the early truck's versatility, because it does just about everything well. The restoration was finished a few years ago, and the super straight bodywork is the result of a lot of time and effort. Fender flares were added, along with tubular bumpers and steps, so it has that tough off-road look that's so appealing. The half-cab means it's strictly a two-seater, but the mini bed in back can be useful for hauling gear to your favorite campsite or fishing hole, or even just down to the car show, where this truck will definitely be a hit. Right now, however, it's filled with a custom spare tire carried and a full-sized spare on a diamond-plate base, which gives it a pretty butch look. There's a regular tailgate plus a Pro-Net gate to shave some weight, and it's been covered with a spray-in bedliner so you don't need to worry about beating it up. Two bucket seats give the interior a very utilitarian look, but with fresh seat covers, correct door panels, and even carpets on the floor, it's very nicely finished. The original dashboard has been painted to match the bodywork and really brightens up the all-black driver's compartment. Factory gauges amount to a speedometer with gas gauge, but a set of mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauges have been added under the dash, complete with built-in warning lights. A Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo is in the dash with speakers in the doors, and the original heater is powerful enough to roast a turkey in the compact cab. That Hurst shifter controls the original 3-speed manual transmission, which is also linked to a 2-speed transfer case, controlled by a second lever on the floor. The warmed-over 302 cubic inch V8 provides plenty of horsepower and performance on the street, and in the rough it's content to idle over the rough stuff without complaints. It's dressed up with a set of Edelbrock valve covers which go with the carburetor and intake. The engine bay is quite clean with lots of new equipment, and the satin black paint is low-maintenance. Underneath, the chassis is in excellent condition and features custom long-tube headers and glasspack-style mufflers for a great sound and an upgraded suspension so it sits right. It doesn't appear to have been a northern truck, so the undercarriage is pretty tidy and those polished aluminum wheels with oversized Mickey Thompson off-road tires give it an awesome stance. A neat little truck with great power and an awesome look. Fun, funky, fast, and surprisingly practical, it's a cool way to have some fun in the dirt.
