I bought this nova in California about 4 years ago. I moved to Savannah, GA about 2 years ago and had it shipped here for about $1200 if I remember correctly. The car was originally dark brown with a tan top. And a bench style front seat. I had the car painted at Maaco here in Savannah and they did a very good job. Door panels, under hood trunk, etc.. I paid $1800.00 for that. This car ABSULUTELY has no rust and it never did. All metal and never been repaired or patched. All original body. In very good condition. The paint job looks very good still because I have kept it under a carport. But if you look very, very close, There are TEENY little spots of white overspray from when I painted my house and wind blew the paint on the car. You will not buff it off. No one notices it until I point it out and they look very closely. The carpet has a little square spot missing under hump where the transmission runs under the car down the middle. It had a floor shifter. I put it back on the column where it was factory. The lady I bought it from said the engine was rebuilt. I believe her, I have put over 5000 miles at least on this car and it runs and shifts perfect. It has a 350 C.I. four bolt main, with a TH 350 transmission (I had to replace the speedometer gear). The rear end is a Camaro oddly enough. The car is extremely fast top end. At 75 mph if you stomp the gas, it kicks in and pushes you back in the seat. But it is very quick off the line as well.I put a new edlebrock carburetor on it since the holley it had on it when I bought it did not have a choke. This car has NO AC. never did. It has vents by your knees where you pull out these knobs and A LOT OF AIR comes in. It is bearable in the summer because of this even here in Savannah.I updraded the big three power cables, ground, alternator, and ... I can't remember where the third wire goes. I did this because I had a 10,000 watt RMS stereo in it for a while. It has excellent speakers in door kick. deck and satellite tweeters. None are blown. I also has a 220 watt alternator installed on it.$400 plus for that I paid. And I will send a brand knew 125 watt all chrome alternator as well as the original 63 watt that came with it.One of the blinker/rear tail light sockets got a breech and was holding water so o replaced that. Also the lamp holders for the rear bulbs are new but they are brittle so I have re-inforcement Mastic tape in two little spots. Holding two bulbs stationary.I drove the car 100 miles Christmas day. The left blinker bulb is out, as well as the overhead light bulb. I am not fixing those.Other than that EVERYTHING on the car works, wipers, new trunk and door gaskets, defrost and heater work excellent, I left a decent stereo in it with a four channel JL audio amp. Trunk looks good. NEVER HAD RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS CAR.I have been a totally honest as I can be with this listing. The reason I am selling it is because I recently purchased a 2002 Land rover and spent Over $9000.00 between lift kit, bumper, wheels rack etc.. I go over board to fix anything up I buy. Silly really. I am OCD perfectionist. Bad combo. The VIN number on this car is 1X27D5W177781 (It came as a nova with a 260 C.I. originally)It has a title number I will give you THIS IS NOT A SALVAGE CAR. But I lost the paper title when I moved. You can get one sent to you by paying. GA DMV said I don't need a paper title on this car to sell it.It has been tagged and insured in GA for three years and it was tagged in CA when I bought it. I still have the CA tag the lady let me keep. I will send that if you promise not to use it. It is old style CA tag.Any questions 912-346-4107.I will help coordinate shipping. You pay. If you are within 500 miles, I will drive it to you for a small fee plus gas. I will take the bus home, Just drop me at greyhound. Seriously.

Clean, simple bodywork? Check. No nonsense interior? Got it. V8 power? Roger that. If you're the kind of guy who likes his cars to be subtle, then this one definitely deserves your attention. Novas weren't anything amazing when they were new, with most Novas like this one packing six-cylinder engines for economy. But that also means that their survival rate wasn't all that great, so finding a good one that's ready to enjoy isn't all that easy. This handsome pale yellow hardtop was refinished a few years ago and is no longer destined for the show field, but it has the look of a car that's led a good life. You can easily see that someone cared about giving the Nova a racy makeover, which included a fiberglass cowl-induction hood and oversized rolling stock, and the result is a car that looks tough without advertising too loudly. Even though it started out as a six-cylinder model, it wears the Nova's crisp design quite well, offering minimalist trim with just a single stripe of stainless running down the flanks, along with bright chrome bumpers and a simple egg crate grille up front. Heck, this one hasn't even been dressed up like a Super Sport, but instead sticks to the basics and gets them exactly right. Basic black would describe the interior, but like the exterior, it's what you don't see immediately that's most important, and the beauty remains in the details. The seat covers have been replaced at some point and reproduce the original patterns exactly, making them both comfortable and stylish. Replacement carpets, nicely rendered door panels with all the stainless trim intact, and original gauges all suggest that someone cared about making it look right. Auxiliary gauges have been fitted under the dash, but true to its minimalist roots, there's no radio. As an original PowerGlide car, the 4-speed with Hurst T-handle shifter is a welcome sight, making this neat little hardtop a bit of a sleeper that uses a factory look to great effect. Again, it's not perfect but it has its own charm that a lot of folks seem to really like. A 327 cubic inch Chevy V8 slides between the fender wells, and since it was optional in the Nova, it fits perfectly. With a high-rise intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and a few chrome dress-up pieces, it's got a vintage hi-performance look and it's about what you'd expect from a car that made its reputation on being fast and affordable. Its humble beginnings are visible in the fact that it has manual steering and brakes, but given how light the car is, you'll never notice that they're gone and it gives the car a very direct feel from behind the wheel. The engine and 4-speed manual transmission were transplanted as a unit, so they work well together and it has an awesome bark from the shorty headers, 2.5-inch exhaust system, and Flowmaster mufflers out back. Factory-style Rally wheels are always an excellent choice, with this Nova wearing 215/75/14 blackwall radials for an industrial-strength look. Just try to find a clean, usable, V8 Nova that's ready to go. Not so easy, right? This neat coupe is ready to play and offers a subtle look that may just catch the other guy sleeping at the wheel. One, it's got just 6955 original miles, a claim that certainly checks out to us. Two, it's shockingly original and beautifully preserved. And three, it's packing a thundering 454 cubic inch V8 and a 5-speed manual transmission, creating the kind of cognitive dissonance we only see in the very best sleepers. Aside from the hood and tops of the fenders, that's factory-applied code 42 Cottonwood Green paint and if you didn't believe the mileage figures, one glance at the finish on this car will make you a believer. Obviously it has never been wrecked or rusty, and as a six-cylinder car, it hasn't been raced or abused, either, so the bodywork is incredibly straight and the doors close like they did on the showroom floor. We like the low-key color because it's ideal for the sleeper image, although the cowl-induction hood (necessary for the big block underneath) kind of gives things away. Original chrome shows you what production trim looked like in the early 1970s and it hasn't been spoiled with stripes or other add-ons that would give away the secrets within. SS badges were added on the nose and tail, along with the requisite blacked-out pieces underneath, but this remains the kind of car that people will spend hours examining simply because of its remarkable preservation. The green vinyl interior is also believed to be original and it's every bit as well-preserved as you'd expect with so few miles. The few obvious upgrades include the rosewood steering wheel, under-dash gauges, and the 5-speed shifter, but it loses none of its effect with those upgrades. We love the industrial look of the bench seat and manual shifter and the Stewart-Warner auxiliary gauges compliment the theme. The factory gauges are bright and clear, the levers for the heater move smoothly, and the factory AM radio still plays whatever passes for entertainment on the AM dial these days. The back seat looks completely untouched and as-new and the door panels don't even show a minor depression where the driver's elbow might have been resting. Heck, even the weather seals are still supple and effective! The trunk is beautifully preserved and that's absolutely the original spare tire, which has never been down. This car originally packed a wheezing six-cylinder engine, so stuffing a 454 cubic inch V8 in there is hardly a sin. It's marked as a 427, which may be intended to further the illusion that this was a factory build, and the rest of the engine bay backs it up. Chevy Orange paint on the block, Yenko 427 finned valve covers, and even a large-diameter pulley on the alternator certainly add a performance vibe. There's also a big radiator up front, power steering and front disc brakes, and the aforementioned 5-speed Tremec gearbox, which shrugs off the big block's power without a hiccup. They wisely upgraded the rear end to a 12-bolt and there's a sway bar at each end to keep it aimed in the right direction. The chassis is incredibly sanitary, as you'd expect from a car that's been driven about 160 miles a year, and even the exhaust system with transverse muffler lends a factory look to the underside. Stock steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps and period-correct F70-15 Goodyear Polyglas bias-ply tires. Well documented and built by the best in the business (Mo's Speed Shop), this is one cool Nova. You'll never find one this beautifully finished, this well-preserved, or this potent, all in one package. You want to stop traffic? This car does it in the most wonderfully brutal and understated way. You get into your modern car, turn the key, and know that the engine will start instantly and get you where you're going. That's entirely the idea behind this cool 1969 Chevrolet Nova, which packs a modern fuel-injected LS motor for great performance but loses none of its muscle car heritage in the process. A daily driver muscle car, this Nova definitely delivers. I suppose if you look closely, you'll see the side pipes and SS stripes and figure there's some serious blasting powder under the hood, but overall this Nova likes to keep a low profile. The handsome graphite metallic paint gives it a strong, no-nonsense look and the finish is quite good overall. Yes, there are a few signs of being driven, but with only 1500 miles or so on the build, they're quite minor. The original hood with its cool chrome inserts is a welcome sight and the car wears appropriate SS badging in its blacked-out grille. The emblems on the front fenders read '350' and that's not too far from the truth with the 5.3 liter engine under the hood, and it certainly keeps it looking stock. Nice chrome bumpers, plenty of polished stainless steel trim, and blue dot taillights really stand out from the anthracite paint. From behind the wheel, you'd never know there's 21st century tech under the hood. The standard black buckets have been reupholstered using factory patterns and materials, there are new carpets on the floors, and nicely finished door panels add a bit of bright contrast to the otherwise monochromatic interior. Heck, this one even keeps the stock gauges without so much as a column-mounted tachometer and the Hurst shifter for the Muncie 4-speed is as industrial-strength as ever. The money was spent in all the right places, because it's a great place to spend some time and finish quality is excellent. You'll note there's a block-off plate for the radio, which adds to the industrial-strength vibe and the back seat is fully finished and in as-new condition. You'll also be pleased to see that the trunk is simple and uncluttered, additional evidence that this car was built for a purpose. OK, the good stuff is under the hood, and the modern 5.3 LS1 V8 is a very neat fit in the early Nova's engine bay. It was installed and tuned to work just like an OEM setup and in that regard it has succeeded in a big way. There's a stand-alone wiring harness and custom air intake, but the rest is GM engineering, making this car not only fast, but reliable as well. It's estimated to put out about 300 horsepower and perhaps 320 pounds of torque, plenty to make the Nova feel very quick around town and with the lightweight aluminum components, handling is superb. The aforementioned 4-speed manual transmission drives a stock 10-bolt rear end with 3.55 gears inside on a Posi limited slip. The custom exhaust uses long-tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers for an awesome, buttery-smooth V8 sound and the sucker loves to rev. Clean floors, a new gas tank, power disc brakes, and just the right stance all set this Nova up for success. Factory Rally wheels complete the resto-mod vibe and wear 15-inch white letter radials. We could almost call this a sleeper, but we think the term resto-mod works better, and if you've ever wanted an early muscle car that's as easy to drive as your usual ride, this is it. It's a real-deal code 17 SS with some nice upgrades to create a wonderful car that's still a blast to drive. With a big pile of cash invested in the restoration, you can expect a pretty nice car. The bodywork alone is probably far nicer than even the factory could manage on an assembly, with great gaps and exceptional fit and finish that emphasize the Nova's clean, straight lines. It was finished a few years ago, so it's not flawless and fresh, but you can easily see that they created an ideal surface below the subtle Butternut Yellow paint and that it's been properly maintained ever since. Keeping a low profile was vital to the Nova's street cred, so the classic and understated color lets the hardware underneath do all the talking. Even the 'SS' on the grille is subtle, leading many to speculate that GM engineers were sneaking these cars out the door without widespread approval from the brass. Whatever the story, this car is most definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing with that strong-running 283 under the hood. Purely stock is the way to go with a car of this caliber. That means correct bucket seats with silver stripes, original gauges, and an optional center console with a T-handle shifter. In truth, no production car ever looked this good, and the attention to detail is so extreme that you'll note even the seams between the upper and lower cushions on the seats are perfectly aligned. Original Nova gauges handle the basics and you get a clean 3-spoke SS steering wheel to hold on to. No under-dash gauges from a catalog, no over-powered stereo, and the result is a very clean look that's very appealing. There's a spacious back seat, making this a car that can be used as real transportation and the trunk is finished to stock specs, with spatter-finish paint, correct mat, and spare tire tucked up above the axle where it stays out of the way. Fully rebuilt, the 283 cubic inch V8 under the hood was one of Chevy's most easy-to-live-with high-performance mills. Unlike the high-winding L79, this 2-barrel version was happy to trundle through traffic without complaint and has a fat bottom end that makes it the ideal street sleeper. Interestingly enough, you could get a 6-cylinder SS, which is how this car came from the factory, but the swap (using a 1965 block) is exactly how the factory would have done it. It's fully detailed, of course, complete down to the hose clamps and original air cleaner with correct decals. The Chevy Orange paint shows reasonably well, although it's got some use since it was completed. The bottom of the car is exceptionally clean, showing a new dual exhaust system, correct PowerGlide 2-speed automatic transmission, and a 10-bolt rear end. Power steering is a welcome addition to the roster and it sits on stock steel wheels with hubcaps and unassuming whitewall radials. One of the most under-rated cars of the era, this Nova will surprise a lot of cars and is a genuine pleasure to drive. This older restoration is holding up quite well and you'll be proud to call this one your own. From the beginning, Chevy's compact was embraced for its combination of timeless styling and the ability to put big horsepower in a lightweight package, and this 1967 Chevrolet Nova hardtop is a fantastic example of how the Nova got it right. Restored and upgraded a few years ago, this one still looks awesome, and the sizzling code 31 Bolero Red paint looks awesome on the crisp Nova shape (that's this car's original color, by the way). Bright colors always look right on '60s muscle, regardless of whether it's a Camaro. On a Nova like this, it's like a threat, because you can't paint a car this color and not back it up with some serious blasting powder under the hood. There are no modifications to the original bodywork, not even a cowl-induction hood, which I always appreciate, and the car has an ultra-clean, purposeful look that's devoid of emblems, badges, and extraneous chrome. Workmanship is very well done and lets the basic design speak for itself, and in vivid fire engine red, it's broadcasting loud and clear. All the trim that remains has been plated, polished, or replaced to give this Nova a bright outlook indeed. It's just clean. With Bolero Red, the only smart choice is a code 779A black interior, which backs up the Nova's aggressive looks and is this car's original interior choice. Neatly upholstered buckets wear reproduction seat covers that replicate the original patterns and give the Nova an upscale feel inside. The rear bench features factory-style upholstery, too, and it, too, looks completely unused and like new. Base Novas didn't get a lot of gauges, so this one let the aftermarket come to the rescue in the form of a full set of Dakota Digital instruments under a smoked panel, and the effect is very cool when you turn the key. The steering wheel is a custom unit that looks like 1967 all over again but features a fat rim that's easy to grab and there's a well-placed B&M shifter to your right. An AM/FM/iPod head unit nestles into the original opening in the dash so it looks completely at home there while powering a set of 6x9 speakers on the rear package shelf. In back, the trunk offers correct spatter paint and a reproduction mat. In the light, compact Nova, you don't need a massive chunk of cast iron to make for entertaining performance, and as a result, the 350 cubic inch small block in this provides exhilarating acceleration while maintaining some pretty impressive street manners. It's upgraded with the usual bolt-ons, including an aluminum intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor and a throaty dual exhaust system. It looks tidy enough, sitting there with its shiny dress-up parts and Chevy Orange paint on the block itself. It's clean underneath, although it's purely driver-grade and not detailed for show. However, things like the rear air shocks, new gas tank, and mono-leaf rear springs suggest someone had a plan when putting it all together And for a totally traditional high-performance look, it has been fitted with 14-inch Rally wheels wearing 195/70/14 front and 225/70/14 rear blackwall radials. So go ahead and drool; this ultra-clean Nova proves that good things definitely come in small packages. From the beginning, Chevy's compact was embraced for its combination of timeless styling and the ability to put big horsepower in a lightweight package, and this 1967 hardtop is a fantastic example of how the Nova got it right. Restored and upgraded a few years ago, this one still looks awesome, and the sizzling paint looks awesome on the crisp Nova shape. Code R Bolero Red always looks right on '60s muscle, regardless of whether it's a Camaro or a Nova, and it happens to be this car's original color. On a Nova like this, it's like a threat because you can't paint a car this color and not back it up with some serious blasting powder under the hood. The crisply creased sheetmetal will never go out of style and there are no modifications to the bodywork, not even a cowl-induction hood, which I always appreciate. Instead the workmanship is very well done, letting the basic design speak for itself and in bright red, it's broadcasting loud and clear. And despite being about 10 years old, it still sparkles. All the trim was retained, too, and all of it has been plated, polished, or replaced to give this Nova a bright outlook indeed. Original "Super Sport" and "327" emblems were added, but who can blame a guy for advertising with a car like this? With Bolero Red, the only smart choice is a black interior, which backs up the Nova's aggressive looks. Neatly upholstered buckets flank a beautiful center console with a shiny chrome shifter for the 4-speed manual gearbox underneath. Silver accents are reminiscent of the upgraded seats you'd see in a Camaro and the floor mats have matching silver monograms. The rear bench features factory-style upholstery, too, and it actually looks completely unused and like new. Base Novas didn't get a lot of gauges, so this one let the aftermarket come to the rescue in the form of a set of auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash, adjacent to the aftermarket A/C vents. There aren't many other deviations from stock, including a big, skinny steering wheel, factory AM radio, and handsome two-tone door panels. In back, the trunk offers a fresh coat of gray spatter paint for an ultra-clean look and includes a full-sized spare. In the light, compact Nova, you don't need a massive chunk of cast iron to make for entertaining performance, and as a result, the 327 cubic inch Corvette-spec small block in this provides exhilarating acceleration while maintaining some pretty impressive street manners. It's topped by an Edelbrock intake and Holley 4-barrel carb, plus chrome valve covers and an open-element air cleaner for a little flash. It looks tidy, sitting there in the satin black background which gives it a highly detailed look. The 4-speed is new and feeds a 10-bolt rear end that's plenty tough enough for this lightweight cruiser. A recent dual exhaust system sounds great and the highly detailed undercarriage still shows quite well despite being a decade old. And for a totally traditional high-performance look, it has been fitted with factory Rally wheels wearing 215/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials. So go ahead and drool; this ultra-clean Nova proves that good things definitely come in small packages. Vehicle Information VIN: 113279W506283 Stock: 2235-ATL Mileage: 72,419 Color: Blue Trans: Automatic Engine: MPG: Drivetrain: Description For some guys, going too far is what its all about. Don Yenko was such a guy, and in 1969, he started stuffing 427s into the compact Nova and created the Deuce-a car that really should be kept in a cage. Since there are only seven or so known to exist today, you can imagine how expensive and highly sought they are. So whats a guy to do? Well, you build your own. This neat little 1969 Nova gets the look just right: one part low-buck grocery-getter, three parts street brawler, and one part polished debutante. The result is more than just a dressed-up Nova SS, but a car that will get attention just for looking good. A lot of the credit must go to the icy blue paint, which was apparently a favorite of Yenkos but seldom seen on muscle cars of the era. Combined with the white stripes, it has a very polished, upscale look that works rather well here. Bodywork is good and the paint, while older, still has a nice shine. Sure, there are a few imperfections here and there, but couple that cool color with the stripe work, and the look is pretty sweet. Hood inserts are the way the factory made it rather than some cowl-induction setup and with a blacked-out grille and some nice chrome, the car looks bright, crisp, and nicely finished. The interior remains standard-issue Nova, albeit really clean and nicely trimmed. Basic black is the color of choice in a car like this, and the recent seat covers, door panels, and carpets really dress things up inside. The 3-spoke steering with a fat, easy-to-grip rim adds a bit of a sporty look to the otherwise simple surroundings. Factory gauges cover the basics of speed and fuel level, with a trio of auxiliary dials hanging under the dash for watching oil pressure, temperature, and voltage. There is no radio, so its ripe for the setup of your choice, and like most Novas, its light on options which is the only way to fly if youre looking for maximum performance. The important thing here is how nicely its all finished, and in that regard, this car really succeeds. Even the back seat looks great! The trunk is covered in proper spatter paint and you can see that theres really nothing to hide here. Yenko was using big blocks, but the 350 cubic inch V8 in this Nova gives it startling performance without the complications of a larger engine. Its obvious that good money was spent here, from the bright chrome details to the Chevy Orange block to the rumbling exhaust note. A Holley 4-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake manifold are a combination that was perfected years ago so the sucker runs superbly and with long-tube headers, the torque curve is robust. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission snaps off easy upshifts and is always read to drop down a gear and the 10-bolt rear end has a Posi inside, so no more wasted power. Flowmaster mufflers act as a warning to the unwary that this car is serious about its job and the stance from the BF Goodrich white letter 215/70/15 front and 215/70/15 rear tires on Rallye wheels is exactly right. Clean, affordable performance, this slick little Nova offers all the right ingredients. Yenko fans, Nova fans, Chevy fans, everyone can agree that this is a cool car. Call now! While most are barely disguised race cars, this one is beautifully finished inside and out and definitely packs some serious horsepower deserving of the big, sticky tires out back. A lot of pro-street cars focus on the going fast part of the equation, but the other half is making it user friendly and beautifully finished, and this car gets it right. The black paint is well done, offering a brilliant shine over some very straight bodywork. They obviously spent a lot of time smoothing things out and the shaved door handles, mirrors, windshield wipers, and emblems give it a sinister look that's very fitting. The two-door post body style is probably your best choice when you plan to channel a bunch of horsepower through it, so the doors fit well and probably will stay that way despite 500+ horsepower trying to twist it out of shape. The hood is very cleverly modified to fit the trick air cleaner assembly, so it has a unique look and clearance without resorting to a ho-hum cowl induction hood. But beyond that, the sheetmetal is quite stock. There's still a bit of chrome for contrast against the inky black paint, with front and rear bumpers in excellent shape and a blacked-out grille that emphasizes the Nova's clean design. At night, the headlights offer trick LED halos like high-end European cars, making this cool Nova really stand out. The interior is civilized enough for street use, but the hardware is made for the track, which is the essence of pro-street. Racing buckets with harnesses, a full cage, and a big B&M shifter all scream race car. However, you'll note that the seat covers are leather, there are full carpets on the floor to control noise and heat, and a tilt steering column to make it easy to climb inside. A full array of instruments, including an Auto Meter Monster Tach, keeps an eye on the warmed-over small block up front and there are custom toggle switches for all the major components, including the fuel pumps, water pump, fans, and nitrous system. There's no radio, of course, but I don't think you'd use it even if you had one and in the trunk you'll find a fuel cell, battery box, and a big blue nitrous bottle that isn't just for show. This car is not a just a poser, either, with a built 350 cubic inch V8 topped by Brodix aluminum heads, a big Holley double-pumper, and a beautifully designed and built nitrous system to feed it. Inside there's a big honkin' camshaft while 12.5:1 slugs ensure that every drop of fuel gets converted to speed. MSD supplied the brains behind it all, including a 6AL box and rev limiter. There's a giant aluminum radiator up front and that cool air cleaner isn't just for show, inhaling cool air from the nose instead of from under the hood. Long-tube headers feed a full 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system with X-pipes and dumps and the suspension was built for combat, with a ladder bars and coil-overs in back supporting a 12-bolt full of 4.56 gears. A built PowerGlide 2-speed automatic transmission is the racer's choice and the chassis has been reinforced with a set of subframe connectors to keep it pointed straight. Traditional Weld Pro-Star wheels wear big-n-little Goodyear radials that are street-friendly but complete the look. Beautifully built and insanely fast, this cool Nova nails pro-street in all the ways that matter.
