Up for sale is my '69 Camaro. I have owned it for 8 years. I had it rebuilt by a shop here in Lubbock. Every part was rebuilt or replaced with new parts. The body was stripped to bare metal. All of the body is original metal except for the passengers door. There are no replacement panels or patches in the body. The car is 100% rust free. This is not a numbers matching car. The engine is not original. The car was built the 4th week of Oct 1968 so it does not have an X code. It does appear to be an original RS/SS car. The paint is pearl orange. It is the same paint used on Lamborghini cars. The factory name is Arancio borealis if you want to look it up. The paint is beautiful and it shows great. The stripes are pearl white. The engine is a 396 (402) bored fifty over and it runs great. It was rebuilt with all new parts. It has a mild cam so the car is easy to drive on the street. The transmission is a rebuilt turbo 400 with shift kit. The drive shaft is new. The rear end is a rebuilt 12 bolt posi with 3.31 gears. I had the rear drum brakes replaced with a disc brake kit from CPP. The front brakes are disc also. The exhaust is 2 1/2 inch pipes with Flowmaster mufflers and a crossover pipe. There are just too many new parts to list. I have all receipts and invoices of the parts and labor. I have pictures of the car before and during the rebuild. I have the title history of the car back to 1979. This is a great car and I hate to sell it but it is time. It still needs a couple of things to be perfect. The am radio is not hooked up. There are no speakers in the car. The windows need some adjusting. I don't have a build sheet or paperwork to prove this is an RS/SS car but I do believe it is. Use your own judgement.
