1975 Porsche 914-2, Twin Webers, extra clean, engine rebuild 12,000 miles ago. Only 84,000 miles on car. All original interior in perfect condition without a single crack. The exterior is re-painted with red and black pin-striping. It has a targa top and chrome wheels with Porche shield. The Porsche 914 was the very last Porsche built by Volkswagen. She's a California no rust car!!! In 1999 When the current owner purchased the car from the original owner, the car was a "Survivor"- the car was in original condition, exterior and interior and the body without any damage or rust. Once the car received it's first paint job and new rubber, in 25 years, it was insured by it's current owner at $22,000, which is what Hagerty Classic Cars valued a 1975 Porsche 914 2.0 Liter at. On August 10, 2007, she was hit in the driver's rear corner causing only some minor body damage. Current owner has all the photos to show the damage, and why he put a 916 tail on her. The market report was done by The Hartford to determine the amount of damage done to the car. The report goes through the car's interior, exterior and mechanical. All the mechanicals received an "exceptional" grade. The interior and exterior received either "above average" or "exceptional". Please note that the report is dated one week AFTER the accident, prior to any repairs. The car, however, is no longer considered a "Survivor" with only one paint job. She now has had two paint jobs, which Hagerty now values at $13,500. The car has a salvage title but not because of anything involving the interior, exterior or mechanical condition.
