https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jauA4hL59Zc This car has always been a head turner. . .and it has been advertised before. . .but has never been looked at (by anyone). Partly because it’s in a warehouse in a remote part of Idaho. I put it on Craigslist and received many complaints for having old videos. (They are three years old. . and I’ve only driven the car a few times since they were taken.) Problem is. .it’s losing it’s space in the warehouse. . and I am driving my pick-up out from North Carolina to trailer it back, or to a new home, if someone wants it delivered and makes me a good offer. One might notice from the sound in the videos that the car has a hole in the muffler. . well, I have a set of solid oem heat exchangers and mufflers for it. I also have a dazzling set of orginal factory OEM Porsche 914-6 wheels (hubs would need to be machined). Put these parts on, tune the engine (a 1.8 bored to 2.0 20,000 miles back), and it could sell for $15,000. Meanwhile. . I would accept any reasonable offer for this remarkable European appearance group 914. . that has very little rust. . but just needs TLC. Has been garaged for the most part for 20 years. . .could be a daily driver with a little work. Again. . have authentic, original Porsche 1970 914-6 wheels (not pictured), serial number 901301600. ..912 or 914-6 wheels, 5.5 X 14 Cars runs fine. . with new rebuild on 1.8, and L-Jet fuel injection. I planned on installing an MR471 (which could be bought in Stuttgart). . note. . it also needs heat exchangers. . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezczEmA4XWQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTCBKulk3Lk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGxKsMMWbRk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiocVtDW_08 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3lmVnlDtBE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKDW8XBdFlY
There have been some excellent offers. .. . I will be at the car taking pics of rockers and answering other requests on September 6th.I apologize for not having better pictures.I would probably have accepted offers made, except that the 914-6 wheels are worth quite a bit.Bottom line, the car goes to open auction on September 12th. . .if we don't get high enough offers here.Out of state people, or people who want me to deliver the car should probably email or call me to arrange:828-707-6216Thanks. .. .http://www.clintsandlam.com/#!september-1213/cow6https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jauA4hL59Zc This car has always been a head turner. . .and it has been advertised before. . .but has never been looked at (by anyone).
