This particular car is a Turbo S and distinguishes itself from its Turbo sibling with a number of mechanical, exterior bodywork and interior trim differences that required it to be constructed at Porsche Exclusive, their in-house customization facility that builds both limited edition as well as bespoke customer cars. The engine has been upgraded with two larger K-24 turbo units, an additional oil cooler and remapping of the Motronic engine control management system to produce an additional 25 horsepower—425 versus 400. The visual clues on the exterior include large air scoops on the leading edge of the rear fenders to cool the incoming air charge, a European front spoiler with brake cooling ducts, an aero rear spoiler, quad round exhaust tips, and matte finish on the wheels and yellow colored brake calipers—in lieu of red.
