The car came from the carolinas so it has zero rust and the user manual has dealer maintenance records till 100k miles. This was my daily driver until I recently purchased something else. Car originally had run flats, I removed them and bought a factory spare kit for the trunk , I still have the run flat insert if you want to convert back . This is an 11 year old automobile so please don't expect new car condition, there are slight imperfections but overall this is in very nice condition for it's age. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. Damaged areas are clearly shown in the pictures below. Looks like it was a low hit to the right rear corner area. Rear bumper rebar is in tact and convertible top components are undamaged. All airbags are good. All glass good. No suspension or mechanical damage observed. All dash lights are normal. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. Overall the car is in mint condition with new car smell. As seen in the pictures, the side skirt trim pieces (under the doors) are missing. There is no damage to the rockers or underneath the vehicle. Its very common practice to remove such parts during the inspection of damaged vehicles by the insurance co. The trunk interior trim panels along with the rear exhaust/muffler pipes are also missing. All these parts were hand removed by the insurance adjuster/body shop during the inspection of the vehicle. Most of the trunk trim panels can be found here on ebay. Just search for sc430 trunk trim or sc430 trunk panel. Similarly missing muffler/exhausts are also available here on ebay. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. Looks like it was a low hit to the right rear corner area. Rear bumper rebar is in tact and convertible top components are undamaged. All airbags are good. All glass good. No suspension or mechanical damage observed. All dash lights are normal. The great news is that the car starts, engine runs great, goes into gear and we are able to drive it around within our lot. Overall the car is in mint condition with new car smell. As seen in the pictures, the side skirt trim pieces (under the doors) are missing. There is no damage to the rockers or underneath the vehicle. Its very common practice to remove such parts during the inspection of damaged vehicles by the insurance co. The trunk interior trim panels along with the rear exhaust/muffler pipes are also missing. All these parts were hand removed by the insurance adjuster/body shop during the inspection of the vehicle.
