This 1971 Ford F100 Flare Side Pickup Truck is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This 5th generation F-series truck is a Grand Father and Grand Son project. The body and frame of this cool old Flare Side has 104, 800 miles on it, but has obviously been maintained and still looks great. The 302 CID engine and C-6 automatic transmission only have a little over 1500 miles on them. To keep accurate tabs on the water temperature and oil pressure, a set of aftermarket gauges have been installed. The exhaust system is new, and it has a nice healthy sound. Many of the front suspension parts are new. This includes new kingpins, hubs, spindles, seals, bearings and bushings. The brakes are new, with new drums at all 4 corners. The interior looks to be in good shape, with a black vinyl bench seat, and rubber floor mat, cleaning the inside of this truck will be a breeze. A Lokar shifter has been added for a little extra %26acirc;??cool%26acirc;? factor to this Flare Side. The paint a on the truck is a metallic blue and looks good. The bed of the truck has been finished to simulate a plank wood finish accented with metal strips of the same color as the rest of the truck. For sale is a low mile 1966 Ford F100 Short Bed located in our Indianapolis showroom. Ford produced the fourth generation F-Series trucks from 1961 to 1966, making this 1966 F100 the last year of this body style. Ford had introduced the previous year an all new chassis with a independent \"Twin I-Beam\" front suspension with coil springs along with a new \"Flex-O-Matic\" rear suspension which adjusts spring stiffness. This combination provided a much better ride quality and also helped to reduce tire wear. This 1966 Ford F100 is powered by its original, numbers matching 240 CID Inline 6 cylinder engine and is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with only 23,527 actual miles! Options on this 1966 Ford F100 include: Vinyl Interior, Aluminum Alloy Wheels, and Radial Tires. This beautiful fourth generation F100 has seen one repaint back to its original light blue and white color scheme and shows very well.
