With the release of the all new C platform the Newport gained strides in style and comfort. A tribute to the great L-body fleet cars of the 1970's, this Newport is a real head-turner and a fun ride. This car is complete and totally roadworthy. In fact, this car runs and drives like new. Despite the car's classic 37 year history, I am only the second owner of the car. This car still has its original body panels, interior, and powertrain - it's never been hacked-up or hot-rodded. It's still a really nice looking ride - and it's loaded. This car has the bulletproof 400 Big block V8 engine, auto trans, and 2.76 highway gears. Plus all the other goodies: power steering, power brakes, air conditioning(inop) and cruise control. The body and paint look sharp, the highway patrol decals (universal style/eBay legal) look great, there's an A-pillar mounted police spotlight, plus brand new tires. This vehicle gets a lot of attention at car shows and has even won some trophies.
