Hopefully you can see from the pictures submitted that this is a rare(mileage) and beautiful '57 Super 88 Olds. The pictures do not even do it justice. So pleasing to look at and drive. CONDITION: Paint is excellent, very glossy and needs nothing. Chrome could be original and quite frankly looks new with the exception of one corner of the front bumper where the copper coating is showing, but now scratches, and you really don't notice the copper. The interior is original and is in excellent condition, including the carpet--virtually no wear, no rips or tears--really quite amazing. The trunk is all original and looks near, except for the obvious aging of the trunk cover. The engine compartment is detailed and clean. The undercarriage is very nice. To knowledge, and after inspection, I can not see any body work or body repairs. The sheet metal is as straight as possible. The radial tires are practically new. MECHANICAL: Needs nothing!! The car drives just like it did when it was new(actually better with the radial tires). The engine is strong with plenty of torque. You can drive it with one finger because of the Power steering and the Power Brakes work as they should. The Vintage, under the dash A/C is ice cold. All instrumentation works; however the speedometer registers approximately 10 mph too slow. I think this is due to the 15" wheels instead of the normal 14". You can cruise at interstate speed in this car all day with confidence. In addition to the A/C, dual fans were added for cooling in the engine compartment. This is really an amazing car, virtually original, with less than 29,000 miles--and it looks it. Everything about it is exceptional. It needs nothing. Just drive it and be proud. Offered for sale is my AMAZING '67 'VETTE COUPE...SUNFIRE YELLOW/BLACK WITH it's original 327/300hp drive train. WHY is this car so amazing? BECAUSE it has never had ANY bodywork done. No panel repairs. The gap fit is just about as good as it gets. It doesn't leak. It drives straight as an arrow. No squeaks or rattles. Has NEVER been taken apart. Do you realize how rare this is. It shifts with ease--no trying to find the right gear slot. I think all of this adds up to AMAZING!!! And that's not all...It rides on nearly new Michelin Red line radials from Diamond Back. It is optioned with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tinted Windows, Side Exhaust. All gauges actually work. The original radiator leaked, so it was replaced with a new DeWitt's original look aluminum one. The engine has less than 2,000 miles since overhaul, when it was bored .030 over, so it has just a little more oomph than normal. The car has been repainted(probably 20+ years) and is in excellent condition. In my opinion it does not need to be painted, with only a few chips in the paint on the front--very minor. It is very shiny and is stage 1 paint. The door jambs were NOT repainted and show considerable wear). It sports new black leather and foam in the seats, new carpet with sound insulation underneath. The only alteration from the original type suspension is the addition of a rear "smart strut" from Van Steel to enhance handling. All interior work was done by Jamison's Custom Corvette in Charleston, SC. A lot of documentation on this car. It is original numbers matching with: Protecto Plate, Tank Sticker, Previous Owner history, original owner's manual, prior NCRS TOP FLIGHT award certificates(1991-1992), original keys--heavily documented!!.
